Without doubt the players brought in so far (who ever identified them as worth a punt AB LT ?) have been really poor.
Charlton suspended and injured twice
Rowley ..why ? never picked
Fish eager young lad given little chance has had one good game
Brogan benchwarmer
Nicolson first few games looked a decent signing but all gone pear shaped recently and poor on numerous levels
Shrimpton resigned why? never pickedNot being a doom n gloom merchant but i just cant see us getting promoted if AB doesnt change his chosen formation which sadly appears to be cast in stone .. expect to see the odd exceptional performance now n then Brackley, Kiddy and Farsley but other than those its been really negative boring and totally underwhelming and IMO so lucky to still be top.
Football is supposed to be entertaining trilling making fans eager to return for more alas whats being served up at the moment especially at home will drive fans away …no highlights vid of Radcliffe so far as probably werent any except the Fitz penalty save.
Worryingly ABs post match interview wasnt a very inspiring listen how can a manager be happy with that …”Radcliffe are a good well organized side” IT THE RELEGATION ZONE .. i stopped listening a couple of minutes in before the customary “still top ov the league” sound bite
Sticking with my pre season prediction of finishing 7-10th and even then no way AB will be sacked hes here to stay lets just hope he sees the light and changes this terrible system.

Holy Blues Batman!
Trinity come from 3-0 down to finish full-time 3-3 and extra time 4-4. Then win 5-4 on penalties. Some game!
Plus another brace for Howe.
gona google those highlights ASAP when wake up sounds like a cracker
Draw or not today was really poor .. WE WERE AT HOME against a side who did a job on us
words to describe how we are
* INNCONSISTANT
overly DEFENSIVE
* UNCONVINCING
POOR
Lucky to be topBut lets wait for the post match usual warbling ..like a claret n blue parrot !!

The sooner the better.
Perhaps a more experienced manager ?? Ar but that costs serious wonga so lets run with the cheaper option who gets his buddies in to try to muddle together a team , most of which have no love or afiltiation to the club having been signed by a former fraudulent owner..
WHAT COULD GO WRONG ???
“Butler”! You bloody Muppet where was Whitehall? your supposed to be the manager well bloody manage, like I said top of the page Whitehall and roberts could and should have been rested at halftime but no idiot head hasn’t a clue,
As for Carlton gets his chance fluffed it again totally anonymous, when will the Whitehall naysayers get it without him we’re nothing.
Having said that why not just move Carlton on the wing instead of taking him off he’s got pace so use it, no forwards on the pitch at the end what’s that all about. Radcliffe by far the better team sempt to be in our half more than we was in theirs played some nice football anyway more than what we were in theirs.
Just not good enough for an home performance.Agree .. AB does make some really strange decisions and today to a man were piss poor.. usual post match AB soundbites to follow .. top of the league 555555
Rene ..express yer self…..that was SH8TE
AR as i predicted , no way a walk over 4 or 5 nil .. lucky not the loose in a game which was a total let down .. why so defensive at home ?? oh i forgot if you done concede you don lose bollocks , so this must be ok then ?

Interesting to see how they deal with Roberts in the form he’s currently showing, reckon they might get a player sent off on Saturday, he’ll be too good for them. Difficult predicting scores in these games so I’ll sit on the fence score wise and just say a comfortable home win.
Is it me or as every game comes im concerned about Roberts being targeted by teams who put 2 guys on him and crunch him early much the same as he was sandwiched right on half time recently i think at Southport (intentionally or not).
Hopefully he has fully recovered form all his injury set backs of recent years, still im sure all others teams in this league would love him to be out for a lengthy spell something that would severely damage our promotion hopes.According to the Radcliffe guy on the Iron hour podcast they wont be intimidated , no way will they come and defend it will be all out attack with each player trying to win their individual battles on the pitch .. so we might be in for a cracker of a game ..
0-0 its is then 5555555
i’d have back in time to replace Roberts who will be snapped up in Jan now he has proved his fitness
Not sure i would want KVV back at all but you are bang on about Roberts .. he will be gone in Jan 25 (possibly with one or two more)..and who can blame him, he has zero real affiliation to the club, was signed by Hilton and had that spat with fans post Guiseley
Radcliffe have won their last 2 away games and including beating Brackley at Brackley , they should not be underestimated.
I predict Cal Roberts will win it ………….with goal B
Couple of decent home results against relegation fodder and the likely lads go from Butler out straight to trying to relaunch HMS P1ss the League.
The notion this current team are anything special on the back of a couple of improved home performances against dross is sheer folly, it always gets fans positivity into overdrive thinking we will smash everyone by 3 , 4 or 5 each outing when in reality we wont … im waiting to see how we get on against KLT , Hereford and Alfreton before i order any champagne (must include the option to return to the vendor such is my confidence in success).
Take a look at over 250 posts on Kev Howz Radcliffe prediction thread on the SUFC FFBP mostly 3 4 n 5 goal Scunny wins apart from a hand full of draws and only ONE chap tipping Radcliffe for a shock away win.
I would love to see a another confidence boosting big home win and for that matter a long run of wins to try n shake off the likes of Curzon and Chorley.

It wasn’t that post IFA. Nothing wrong with it as far as I can see. It was a post from a few days ago. I assume it was refering to another forum member? ‘Betting’ was in the abuse and swearing? Perhaps you were drinking on meds again? I don’t know. Anyway, that’s why it went.
Ar ok got it … yes guilty as charged but i wasnt refering to any Bru forum member or any one on face book but was venting at the barrage of betting posts that constantly arrive unchecked on every face book post on the SUFC FB page.
Apologies for that post it was a tad profanic if thats a real word.
Back to the footy and bumped into a retired guy (Farsley fan) last night and he reckons they wont see the season out… hope thats not the case.

IMO , This will be closer than many are thinking .. HOPEFULLY a tight 2-1 scunny win or at worst a 1-1 draw the likeliest outcomes.
Crap performance should of been 9-0 .. food was shit., BUTLER OUT .. bring back Hill
Sorry drinking on meds scrap the Hill bit 55555
Much needed win .. Radcliffe may well prove more resilient BEWARE all the dilusional Iron fans. Can you try and refrain from submitting a genuinely abusive post today, so we don’t have to delete another post of yours please? That would be appreciated. Meds drinking or not.
After such an excellent performance thought it was pretty obvious this post was in jest especially the Hill bit … other than the S word (apologies for the use there of) im not seeing anything abusive Deery..
Radcliffe will be a lot closer game than 99.9% of Scunny fans are predicting.

You missed JD ?
Come on Michelle give the people(about 6 on SUFG and IFA) what they want
The return of the Dean and Stamp “Dream Team”
IFA ??? i most certainly have not advocated for the return of Dean , IMO Stamp would not be a bad move though….
Dean no way
Stamp .. personally apart from the Apple crumble i didnt like the look of the food during his tenture at AAGP was always a meat pie n Bovril guy not burgers, respect for stepping in when he did though….that said my daughter and family do regularly frequent Take A Gander and say very good things re the place and food.
Awesome start to the season. Sussed early on. (Predictable.) Adjustments desperately needed. Adjustments not forthcoming. Managerial belief hardens into becoming wholly inflexible.
At current rate, we are unlikely to make the playoffs – not even close.
A season being wasted but at least the early season points should mean that we won’t be in any relegation trouble.A sombre depressing post les alas sadly very accurate

thank lord Buddha we are off the top … no more
We are still top of the league
This clean sheets twaddle can also be consigned to the bin
If you had offered us 25 points before the season kicked off bla bla bla
If the opposition dont score you dont loose 5555555
BUT WE STILL HAVE A CLUB

Good points and easily explained.
AB was appointed purely on a fiscal basis… HE WAS THE CHEAP OPTION.
Extending his contract so soon was shear folly, a terrible decision especially after the great start to the season had already gone pear shaped when it happened.

Curzon or Chorley may well be this seasons Tamworth .. can see them to pulling away at the top in the coming weeks.
Yesterday highlighted just how much we need a fox in the box striker quickly ..as teams know if they can put 2 or 3 on Roberts and give him a hard time thats our main threat nulified, Southport twigged and did just that from just before half time. Not sure you can blame AB for this one .. the lads were in full control playing well yet allowed the hosts 3 goals from their only 3 chances … embarassing, shambolic defending to blame on this occasion not formation or tactics.
Havent heard post match interviews yet but can pretty much imagine what sound bites they will contain.
Win the game in hand on Tuesday and things will look slightly better ..alas im not confident we will see top spot again and end up in the play offs or even just outside them.
Chester have fallen off a cliff lately yet we could only manage a draw which in some opinions was a good result …doesnt look that great now though after Curzon swished them aside at ease.

Dreadful performance again. You know it’s bad when even the ever optimistic Stu Maw is saying how poor it was on the cult page. But on the plus we don’t have to witness IFA’s bare arse whilst taking a jaunt down Frod Rd.
Stu Saw the light and Frod road is indeed safe from my rather rotund yet soft n silky arse cheeks
FOR NOW

must win this and similar ones against the leagues also rans … alas nothing is a given and im not sure this will go well.
Dull predictable unconvincing so im going for a draw .. 1-1 .. @ AAGP AB really should go for it with a 442 0r even 433 but does he have the personal to do that (IMO NO) so expect his current fav wing back set up to remain even though our wing backs arent really wingers more like left n right backs.
Like to see Law get a run of games.
Such is my confidence i would fly home and show my arse in Wilsons Chippy frod Rd winda for a win at Chester.
i remain 2-1 to the Seels as we just couldnt hit a pigs arse with a shovel ATMOonly a guess .Sharp ??.. i reckon hes gonna do a Wrexham on he cheap
Drab boring football that manages to nick a result is how i see a few of our previous few games ..
squad too small , get a few more faces in as its obvious the one here either arent good enough or dont give a toss just seeing out a high paid contract n move on .. lest we forget we are still suffering from the past owners fookwittery re signings
Do any fans really think Roberts (and others ) really want to be here for the love of SUFC .555
1 user thanked author for this post.
Enjoyed the listen and the whole panel spoke /answered excellently.
Nothing new really .. plenty of well deserved back slapping and praise for everyones efforts over the last 12 months from 1.8 mil dedt to just under 100k is miraculous.
Fans questions mostly soft ball , good news re academy/youth plans and a possible Sharp produced movie.
I think AB should have been pressed more on his current favoured formation and tactics and how flexible will he or can he be if performances remain unconvincing and changes are needed ..It appears there are funds available to sign players so lets watch this space and hope any newbies are better than the more recent acquisitions.
Heres the direct link to HR Sounds .. from FB hence the large link detail but it works ok

Im buying into your Dec Howe idea by the game Rene , he appears to be just the kind of striker we need as its all a bit predictable n stale at the mo (Roberts aside).. seems to know where the goal is and as another bruite mentioned a ” fox in the box ” is desperately needed ASAP… still leaves the midfield to sort with the addition of a big growler as its all a bit twinkle toes, fairy cake and pansy potter in there nowadays.
Lots of activity at the AAGP with dinners, forums tours alas its all quiet on the signings front maybe LT busy with his up coming Lee n Lawsy gig writing the script.
Im predicting in the Chester pre match interviews
Chester are a tough well organized side
The players have trained well
Worked hard, its been a good week in training
The players have taken on board what we are trying to do.ALL above sound bites will be ran out again.
