Yes I thought the tone and feeling was right and the fans appreciate that sort of sentiment. It helps that Lincoln are flying but thought it was a well directed statement nonetheless.

There is no chance of it going ahead. It won’t get above freezing prior to kick off. Its always that railway end which suffers and cannot see the ref passing it. Get Jem and KVV back in time for Saturday
So he can sell the club easily now as it is worthless the new owner will just have to find somewhere else to play.
We’ll be playing at Bottesford Town in 5 years.

Sounds like Swann has been golfing during lockdown
Clarke must be crocked but McGahey can play there no problem, don’t see the logic at all
Bizarre that we’ve gone for a right back
4 – 0 down against Port Vale with half the match left. He was far too weak for a league 2 defender
CT – absolutely we should be doing what we can to tie him down for another year, maybe they have the option. 5-6 more games and he will be doing the job of 2 holding midfielders
No understatement that this guy will be the reason we stay up.
Just fantastic and not fully fit yet
It works for them because Klopp has a say in who he wants and has a network of ex pro’s scouting for them – he just cannot sanction the spending.
Swann plays golf then signs players
They all sound like sensible suggestions Awaywego and I think most if not all bruers would support 4-4-2 experienced spine and a mix of league two experienced players with a view to bring 3-4 youngsters through to develop and sell on as a sustainable model – it falls down when the chairman controls it all and believes offering 2 year contracts to a complete car crash of players ill equipped for league two is the way to go.
I would give you 10 games to get it sorted
Swann: ‘I didn’t want Awaywego as manager but Coxy came in and said this is the one I want to replace me’ ‘he’s got no discernible skills or experience but has a big pair on him….. can you imagine the grief he would get from people he never listens to or cares about (the morons) …. I mean if we actually cared what fans think then that would be really awkward. Luckily I own 92% of the club and nobody else matters….. and when the time comes he will make a great construction manager sorry I mean football manager….’
Its not like we haven’t signed injured players in the past.
COVID never made him run through managers, never made him buy Jarvis, Mooney, Loft KDT, and a whole raft of poor non league players
It didn’t make him switch from experienced high eaners to the complete opposite with a raft of mediocre players with no experience alongside them
COVID may have fogged his brain to think Jarvis was coming good and running channels – funniest thing this year
COVID didn’t fall out with every stakeholder he comes into contact with. Why not say the club is for sale and see what happens – it can go two ways – nobody is interested and proves his point – genuine interested parties. There are still several parties looking at football clubs, some closer than others. Swann is waiting for the billionaire to approach him (why billionaire?) but has no intention of selling as he knows it comes with too many caveats associated with the land and the loans and makes the sale pointless.
Good stat, very telling. I expect Cox to see this and have Loft even more isolated
disappointed with the lack of challenge to some of Swann’s nonsense. Understand they have to he careful but the guy is wrapped up in his own self importance to see whats happening to the club.
He’s a walking contradiction and thinks Jarvis is a footballer showing promise – I think Swann would have Harold Shipman in charge of vaccinations
Something definitely not right here, out most promising player and one of the players of the season also one of the squad who we could actually sell for good money (onaraise and mcghaey the others) and in Cox words he had no chance of starting, so we either selling him or Cox has yet again fallen out with the player
It was planned according to Cox – wanting to get 45 minutes into their legs

banning food and drink
decimating back room staff
appointing ridiculous CEO’s
appointing baby boy as chief scout
picking the players himself
sacking managers for fun
falling out with lakes developers
as above N Lincs council
as above land owners for new stadium
saying police changed kick off times
boardroom full of non football family members
ex players slagging him
ex managers slagging him
constant whining about covid only affecting him.
strategy to only get youngsters
blaming fans for the strategy abovehe needs to put feelers out to sell not just say who is going to buy it – there are interested parties out there (for footy clubs). But he owns the land and will want a return so he’ll put us into non league and then fold the club and develop the land.
If we drop out the league I just cannot see us surviving
Cox woefully incompetent at this level and now Swann chooses this manager to stand by after his sackathon of the past 5 years.
Swann will take us down and won’t even be bothered about it
Spence has zero creativity and is a poor mans karacan – no need for him to be on the pitch, don’t need to single out the players because they’re all pretty bad
Cox really is clueless as are most of this squad.
We are just waiting to concede – sitting deep after 10 minutes
you don’t need goals when you have pace energy excitement. Peter knows a player when he sees one – or if he doesn’t see them he just has to play golf with the father.
Pure genius
January 14, 2021 at 11:49 am in reply to: At what point do we consider the manager is the problem? #200836I feel for Cox – proper stitched up with a really crap squad with at least 4 strikers who should not be footballers (or part time at best).
Coupled to that he does not have the applicable attributes to be a football manager and is way out of his depth.
Take a moment to think about a local lad played for the club supports the club has the best interests of the club but stitched up by his boss and his own abilities – cannot be a nice feeling.
The Big Reveal…..
All I know is I know nothing. It merely came from some twitter talk about Cox wanting a striker, and was looking at Villa youth. With Cox’s connections it seems apt but sorry tash I am not in the know. I used to have a mole on the board but Swann put paid to all that.
striker problems to be solved by a Villa teenager who is ill equipped for a league relegation fight, can’t be worse than Loft/DT/Jarvis
I give up.
I did manage a laugh in the second half with Loft’s shot and Cordner falling over himself but that was the only bright spot
Clarke has turned into a shit footballer
Agree it is very strange – this from Humberside Police;
The current lockdown means this is a police free match and the kick off time is something we have no requests about.
Our local commander will be speaking to both clubs this week
The chief constable has come out and said this has nothing to do with them (the decision) so something isn’t right here
Credit where its due – two good signings. Hopefully the sheer folly of previous transfer strategy has been discarded. These feel like the experienced people needed to bring on others. A dream window would include a striker who can contribute a few goals because loft is never in the correct position and Jarvis is worse. Like most on here certainly need to shift out 3 or 4 more players.
