I can’t believe anyone with the interests of the town or the club at heart can honestly think the days of either Swann or Hilton provide a model that we should ever think of repeating.
The club has to be embedded in the town. Not a rich man’s plaything.
We all need a regular reminder that less than 16 months ago we were being evicted from Glanford Park, potentially ground sharing at Gainsborough, Brackley was our last ever home game at GP and we were about to be liquidated.
Let’s regain a sense of perspective.
