…me too, I watched every second and it was absolutely brilliant, I may have only been eleven but I remember it all so clearly. That’s a sign of getting old. 😂

I’m reminded of the old Nexus Mariner thread from a few years back after our promotion to the Championship, ” Down by Christmas “, he visited Bru many times during that Championship season and posted some fantastic hilarious stuff which the majority of the board thoroughly enjoyed. How about ” Dead by Christmas ” for those rushing headlong into the brave new world without seemingly a care or a concern over the consequences? Just a thought.

Sorry Cass I inserted the wrong option when I said option, either way my position doesn’t change but I appreciate the clubs stand will have miffed a few.

The Iron Trust has raised the issue of whether the club has handled the season ticket refund well or not and has asked for feedback from members if they wish to comment. This was done on here earlier but it does seem the type of options used by other clubs has been received reasonably well by sections of their fanbases as has the Scunny option by some TBF. We all have different opinions on this but for me I don’t see myself investing in a season ticket next season and will pick and choose my games, if any, which I choose to attend depending on the rules applicable at the time. The club can keep my money from last season’s unused games and I personally don’t care about a different approach on a refund as it doesn’t interest me anyway. After turning 65 this summer I have entered the ” cheap zone ” when it comes to the entrance fee on match day so I’m quite chilled about it all. Next season will be my cheapest for a along time watching the Iron, if we are allowed to and if I indeed choose to.

You’ve always had a problem reading posts through properly and not absorbing content, I won’t be bothering explaining basic common sense to you anymore, you seem incapable of understanding basic logic. Either that or your intending to be clever with your response and as usual failing miserably.

come on mick, your in the 89th minute now keep playing till the end.

Yeah come on mick, just because your in a very vulnerable age group and you have underlying health issues and you may get a life threatening virus that is spreading over large parts of the world that will probably kill you in your age and condition if you catch it. Are you saying you won’t go to GP to watch Scunny because you might die? What’s the matter with you, aren’t you a real fan like pylon boy and…… Oh wait, could die, yeah good choice mick.

Managers don’t give a toss about fans and opinions, never have never will. The stuff they say about fans in radio bulletins and newspapers is just PR bull****, they will do it their way, their in charge and after all it’s just a job to them. Care about fans opinions? Your having a laugh.

What’s the date for the start of the ground refurbishment?

Two years after the nation gets inoculated for corona virus I believe. 🤔

The government will still insist on social distancing, plus the problems surrounding toilets and food outlets. Look how Spain has gone after being shut down for the first initial period, as for the USA, complete joke the way that country is running it’s handling of the virus. This government does not care about football and will keep it shut down the first chance it gets if a sniff of a second wave arises and it will. We will need a lot of luck to watch any sort of season in the EFL come October.

Normality won’t stop small clubs going bust without financial assistance.

Heard a whisper he’s signing for QPR on Monday. Must have a very good agent!

Maybe it’s the Mafia? ” You sign him or else, capiche “. 😜

To which I was referring mick,I admire their efforts to get the new season up and running but we are all still a long way from any kind of life normality never mind football returning. Also unless a financial package is agreed for EFL clubs, I can see a lot of clubs going under before a ball is kicked and if so where is your league structure and new season then? Keep everything crossed guys.

Does anything shock us anymore regarding sackings in football these days?, two barmy decisions IMO. No chance of EP sacking Wilcox though, I could live with that decision.
