Lovely video really give a sense that there is something special happening. For me the kit is ok ( not a big fa no of vertical lines!) but that video really does make me what to buy one so well done all involved and look forward to seeing what else will come!

It’s probably unlikely we will stay up but with 4 of our last 6 games against Dorking, Oldham, Torquay and Gateshead if we can stay anywhere near 5th bottom then we would have at least a chance of doing the unthinkable!
We just need all the others to start losing there games in hand and then at least we can start to believe!

I was just going to ask the same. I used to watch the highlights on the sky sports scores app but national league highlights are no there.

Would be great to start with a win but think 1-1 with a decent team performance would be ok.
Think it will be 1-1 Boyce to score

I was resigned to us been relegated about a month ago so Friday almost came as a relief that it was over and didn’t drag out and give us some mad hope that we might actually win a few games and stay up!
Don’t know much about non league so been doing some homework on the clubs and locations and kind of looking forward to visiting some small grounds. Also just want that feeling back, that excitement that we might win a game when it kicks off!!

Awaywego your right it is a no lose scenario so looking forward to it. It will be good to get back to a bit of live football.
Even just a goal or leading a match for a few minutes would be nice!!

Can see us sneaking a 0v0 draw again! Rory will have to play a blinder though!
Just enough to make some of us think we might actually have chance of staying up!

Ps my head says 3v0 Sutton!

All the stats would tell you an easy Swindon win. But all we can do is hope that the Walsall win breathes so confidence into the team and you never know!
My heart says 0v0 but I do think if we can somehow get ahead this new team are a lot more capable of closing out a game. However, I do struggle to see where a goal is going to come from!
Ps my head says 2-0 Swindon!

Realistically how much do ye think someone would need to buy the club?
And then also how much would it cost to get the club back to even just a mid table league 2 side?

Former Scunthorpe player Ian Morris just stepped down as shelbourne manager last week. Won 2 titles in 3 years. Just throwing another name in the pot!

    My prediction:
2v1 Scunthorpe. We go 1v0 up in first half, second half we fall back into our shells and concede. But last 10 mins we get a chance and snatch the win like so many do against us!

Just got a feeling that we will get something out of this one! Can’t see why, probably just the fact that we have to get a win at some stage!

I think we will be able to hold onto a lead with this team this season as it has more experienced leaders and players who seem to give 100%. But I could be wrong only time will tell!

    Bilson
    Pugh
    Davis
    Taft
    Thompson
    Green
    Kenyon
    Beeston
    Bunn
    Loft
    ONeill

1v0 up at half time. Perry on for oNeill during second half for a 451 and we see out the match 1v0.
Small number of fans happy with the win but most revert back to complaining!

Honestly what’s the point in sacking Cox. We do the same thing very time and expect a different answer! The problem this season was a recruitment strategy of multiple players that wasted most the already cut budget without involving the manager.
Personal, I think Cox had one job this season and that was to keep us up and he did it albeit by been very slightly shitter than 2 other terrible terrible teams.
Next season I expect him to implement his ‘attacking’ football and improve the entertainment. If we give him the summer and some time to build a team then I will judge him on his team next season.

To be far to cox, step 1 when you take over a team that’s conceding goals and playing like we were is sort out the defence. And I would say job done, it’s not great to watch but it keeps us up. That’s the easy part. Step 2 is playing creative attacking football, hopefully with a summer to plan and some money for wages (mainly due to the players leaving) he can introduce something for next season.
