I fully agree with you. I am not endorsing gambling at all and I never bet. The bookies nearly always win and lives are ruined.

One can be committed to a Club without being a Director.

I disagree vehemently. He is not a politician. He is straight. Why can’t supporters simply get behind the Club?

I agree with you, lesgeo. Leave Simon alone. He’s done so much for the Club over the years.

It is perhaps worthy of note that S.E. didn’t join the new Board.

Apart from Saturday’s fumble, Fitz. is a very reliable ‘keeper who distributes the ball very well, often leading to goals.

There were some great games in the early 60s on Friday nights.

Early 60s, I recall a 5-1 win over Plymouth and Barrie legally shoulder-charging Leiper into the back of his net at the Donny Road end. Barrrie was a great player.

A good appointment. We’ve needed a legal expert since Rex Garton died but Swann did things his way!

Cliff has left Peterborough. Could he be Dean’s no. 2? If so, a bit harsh on Nelson.

The chap, Ollie, was very good and so was Neil. A win at last! We must do it more often.

Didn’t Swann say, on taking over the club, that he wouldn’t leave it in a worse position than when he assumed control of it? Hollow words?
