No cohesion. Disappointing.
I had the impression that Whitehall was out for the season so Wreh would be his replacement.
This concerned me but the commentator was referring to the Scarborough player called Purver!
I couldn’t get anything till after 4.00.
Thanks for the link, Deereyme.

I wish I’d checked Deeryme66 before k.o.!
How many yellows to us and to them? We must have won that match but will it cost us £s?
Jackie Marriott and Mervyn Jones, iirc, from the 1950s., were proper wingers.
I find it difficult to comprehend. Lee has done so much over decades and certainly found some great players. I am also concerned about the departure of two former Directors. We labour on.
I agree that Butters should have stayed for his experience and his brain.

No. He was certainly our best player last seasons. How many accolades did he receive?
It’s a shame he didn’t stay.We lost the high level footballing brain when Butters left – and he was not replaced.
Thanks very much, CMC. A great goal from Roberts and some schoolboy defending.
At least we got six tonight.I’d really like to see the defensive lapses.
We had over 100 dangerous attacks, over 20 shots with nine on target. Southport had three on target so where was our defence?

It would suit me if it were chosen for the t.v.
I do like the use of the subjunctive mood.
Why has it taken over three months for the charge to be made?
A promising acquisition.
Let’s look at the advantages: financially a good move for the Club, a manager with experience, a man whom we know and who knows the Club and a chap who speaks confidently and intelligently. He deserves supporters’ backing.

It was one of my early games. I could hardly keep abreast of the goals! A shame history didn’t repeat itself last Saturday but I didn’t think it would.
It was the right decision in my opinion. The new Board inherited the Management Team which was, in the final analysis, found wanting.
I am sure that Jimmy did his best but his style of play didn’t always please the spectators and his substitutions on occasions defied supporters’ belief. Finally, he never looked comfortable physically under the mildest of interviews.
I am sure that the Board has already made contact with his successor, whoever it may be. Bishop would be an interesting choice.
Goodbye and thanks to Jimmy and his team and I hope that they will soon find another Club. (From the Inspector, an Iron supporter for 70+ years who witnessed the 9-0 slaughter of Boston some 70 years ago in the F. A. Cup and who has been exiled in the Deep South for well over 40 years). It is appalling that there has been so little mention of the Iron in the newspaper. Come back, Bob Steels!
Very many thanks.
I was never impressed by him. His communication skills were poor.
Fine the late one the match fee! I can’t get the commentary. Help, please
Merci, René.
I would sooner trust Simon (whom I know quite well) over an ex-convict.
Wasn’t Swann in Court over his betting?
Bookies prey on people. People lose billions of pounds each year and those sums go to the bookies and their shareholders. As a generalisation, the rich get richer and …!
