Did anyone skip the Southport home game to meet Tom in Sheffield at 3pm on Saturday? https://www.instagram.com/p/DHyF5jcNtDk/?igsh=MWlnaWtrcDQwMGR3NA==
The Hilton fan boys enabled this. You know who you are.
there were Maw of them at the time than claim they were now.
Don’t see the harm in events like this – do see the harm in poorly thought out events like the Weekender (reputational damage).

How much do Rolls Royce’s cost?
I thought this board would have risen above it to be honest. All the club’s focus should be on the football for the final six.

I suspect this has everything to do with him leaking their deal with FC100000. No doubt if it wasn’t for him leaking it first, Aidan McCartney wouldn’t have got wind of it and he wouldn’t have gone sniffing around.
In my opinion they are pissed off because the deal collapsed and Mr Goat played a huge part in it. I know Michelle and co saved the club, but as everyday passes I find my self liking them less and less.
It would have come out regardless. Athletic article, rumours of their people being at the stadium on Saturday. People aren’t stupid.

Swann or Hilton-esque
Be the bigger people
Also gone through two hospitality managers and now outsourced to Henry’s, Smoking Goat, Brad’s and the Little Cake Company – the last two replacing goatboy. Get a grip Iron
It shouldn’t be rushed. Get the process right and the right people, and it could be a huge positive. Rush it or make it a popularity contest, and it’ll go the same way everything else like this goes.
Have to agree with this. It absolutely has to be done properly, with the right people. As much as we trust Michelle and co, this should not be allowed to dissolve into some cosy cuppa and biscuits half-hearted gesture on the Club’s part nor some yes-man nothingness nonsense from the supporters.
That’s why it should go through the Trust, and why everyone should join. The supporters should unionise, in other words.
We’re making a mistake limiting it to three people too.
See the CEO says we’ve got a new stadium manager, did we have an old stadium manager? Or is this a new member joining the non playing staff.
I’ve heard we’re on our third stadium manager of the season. Make of that what you will…
Read it twice. Still looking for a bit of substance.
Chat GPT.
The folk on Facebook will lap up any old twaddle won’t they.

I think it was more optimism and perhaps even keeping fan morale up than outright lying.
I don’t see the benefit of that when you know it isn’t true, to state going into last week that he was 50/50?! Which means that if he doesn’t make it for the Chester game he’s GUARANTEED to be in the squad for Southport.
I’ve not heard this week’s interview but if he’s had a setback he’s had a setback.
I think it was more optimism and perhaps even keeping fan morale up than outright lying.
Reading it again it’s basically an advert for the chavfest.

March 28, 2025 at 5:50 pm in reply to: FC100K post-mortem x Iron Bru podcast x very interesting listen #301058For a bit of balance :-; https://x.com/fc_100000/status/1905664921414582688?s=46
Big difference this season is a former professional managing a professional team. Don’t think we were fit enough last season – it was a waste of the talent we had.
Still concerned about recruitment going forward though.
Been giving this fans voice kneejerk reaction some more thought. I think the club should revise the spec and number of reps if they really want to be serious about it. There’s a token ‘all corners of the community’ or summat, but no way is that going to appeal to less obvious sections of the fan base and town. There’s an opportunity here for the club to build on all the Iron in the Community work and let supporters and potential new supporters have a say and be represented. Otherwise there’s the potential of 3 Reform Dave’s, young, ‘mid-range’ and old as Gareth lazily suggested on the IH podcast. Club can do better than that and use this as an opportunity to widen the fan base, which is absolutely necessary in coming years. For that reason, I’d suggest 6 reps meeting monthly together, then with board to have a serious discussion about ways to improve, what’s working, what isn’t etc. with 6 reps you get a more diverse range of people from the towns many communities of interest. Scunthorpe’s always been a melting of cultures and migrants due to the Works. Opportunity for the club to recognise that now and be a bit more progressive.
This exactly. It shouldn’t be rushed. Get the process right and the right people, and it could be a huge positive. Rush it or make it a popularity contest, and it’ll go the same way everything else like this goes.

A lot of text but not really saying a lot. No mention of FC100000

Never mind “recruitment experts” I’m a big fan of managers picking the players they want.
How many games outside ours does Butler get to? The game’s moved on.
It’s an insult to structured, respected, established fan groups and smacks of short-termism. Like a lot of the things we see.
‘Work closely with the club to keep the spirit of the fans alive in every corner of the community’.
Chat GPT – soulless buzz words
I don’t think the club has trust in the Trust – otherwise why go for this latest, hastily put together, Chat GPT-generated gimmick.

That aside, freezing prices when the cost of everything else is going up is admirable and deserves more credit.

Spend £XXX to watch bands you can see for free in the Priory.
See on Twitter, PASSSSSHUNate chest pumper Dave ‘Greeny’ Green has applied.
Reeks of Chat GPT too. Is strategic, structured dialogue to much to ask?
It’s a good thing and the club were quick off the mark with it. PR move or not, fair play.

Let’s say for sake or argument he is paid 50k, as a rule of thumb he should be bringing in 3x salary into the club so would hope to see 150k of extra revenue to the club.
Agreed… 3 times salary is a standard minimum bench mark.
iMacRodwell was on £5k a week.
Kenny Roberts won’t be getting out of bed for £18.64 per hour [based on a 40hr week] / £38,771 per annum after deductions.
Mechanics are working on £60 an hour, plumbers £80 an hour – before deductions.
I’d guess that Kenny ‘Baldrick’ Roberts is going to be on no less than £2k per week or £104,000 pa.
Even then, he’d make more money fixing cars.
There was an ‘ITK’ account on Twitter the other week claiming it’s £50k, part time and hybrid
