Which has priority, the Sands Venue Building in Blackpool, or the Sands Venue Stadium in Scunthorpe? It seems there are costly holdups with the former. Are you primarily a property developer/racehorse owner. or a football club owner/enthusiast?

It was actually Alan Hansen, not Hanson. A Scotsman not a Scouser
Taking the knee HAS become rather routine and is losing its impact. That does not mean that the message behind it is not a worthy one. It seems to me that SOME criticism of the gesture in the early part of this thread was ill founded and prejudicial, even racist in a few instances
Taking a knee is an anti racist gesture. Players do it to highlight the fight for racial equality. It is not an endorsement of any political movement. Black Lives Matter is a movement, not a political party. Generally, those who oppose anti-racist gestures are racists. They belong to that group who say “I am not racist, but …..” If taking a knee upsets them, good. Let them be upset.
I find it difficult to believe that the colour of the kit can affect the quality of the team’s perforance. Poor performances are due to failures of players, management and directors.
Swann Begone!
Just a theoretical question. Do property developers/racehorse owners automatically know anything about football?
An interesting article in the i newspaper today on the responsibility of Premier League clubs to EFL clubs in the light of the effects of Covid.
I really don’t care what the points scoring system is, so long as it is applied consisently and that the rules are made clear to all of us before the season starts.
Done. I confidently expect to appear in the top 99% at the end of the season. Good luck to all.
The only match my wife and I have ever watched together on TV. After 56 years of married life, football remains a bone of contention between us; but we have both survived.
