Kielder is definitely greater in volume. Rutland has a larger surface area.

BS and his broad brush approach to most things discussed on this forum is actually a very narrow minded way of looking at issues we all discuss, I have always felt he is a victim of his generations thinking, I reckon maybe 90% of his generation would agree with him but that’s just my viewpoint.

A very sweeping assumption. If it is true, I am proud to be part of the 10%.

Actually 71 years. Despite being a League club in Nov 1950, when the cup competition was organised in 1950. the Iron were a non league club, and had to enter the competition in the 4th qualifying round. On November 4th they lost 0-1 away to Hereford before a bumper 10,000 crowd at Edgar Street.

To a Shetlander, anything south of Wick is southern. To a Londoner, anything north of Potters Bar is the frozen North.

With the Queen’s passing it’s probably a good opportunity to get rid of bank notes and coins.

Don’t really need them now and it would save the Treasury billions not having to mint and print new issues bearing King Charles’s head.

Likewise stamps. Simple barcode stickers is all that’s needed.

All very well for you technically savvy youngsters. Many pensioners have no idea what a bar code is. Few of them have computer keyboard skills even if they have access to a computer. A cashless society would be of no use to them. At my advanced age I do have basic computer literacy, but I still get great comfort from having a few quid in my pocket.

There was Lincolnshire team in the first FA Cup: Donington School, but they could not afford the journey to play Queens Park of Glasgow and so did not play.

The definitive answer to the question posed by the title of this threrad is – the end of the current season. Until then the Iron are still in League 2.

Waltham out manoeuvred Swann, who displayed remarkable naivety and ignorance of planning procedures. I believe his dealings with Blackpool planning department have not gone particularly smoothly..
