Slightly better Quibel Park
Think we are providing a service for getting players fit for their parent clubs. Hope it pays well.
Believe that iron is only fourth most abundant element on earth. Hope that isn’t our finishing position
Good news hopefully but after the 2 previous owners can I just hang back with wholeheartedly offering 100 percent support. Will wait and see.
No chance of Swanny and Dave walking round the ground arm in arm as a lap of Honour?
As a season ticket holder I will not put another penny into the club until I am convinced we are going in right direction. After Swanny and Hilton I might take a bit of convincing.
I do hate matches where there are no incidents to talk about

A true Iron legend for us oldies. Hat trick in 5 mins against Luton was unbelievable.
Ken Jones in goal, Noddy Neale centre half and Barry up front was a propper spine for the team. Nearly made first division.8 users thanked author for this post.
Remember years ago going to Maine Road to watch Man City when they were in League 1 or whatever it was called then. Believe they were playing Colchester who had gone there to frustrate and get a point. Today reminded me of that. Agree we need to keep it simple and we have a lot to learn about these sort of teams. The quicker the better.
Sat at the popular side of Maine Road and cannot for life of me remember what it was called. Help please.Match abandoned half time due to massive thunderstorm. Iron winning 1-0. I’m late for my tea due to ref taking his time to make the decision.
Got my season ticket. My money, my choice. Don’t need anybody to tell me what to do. If you have stopped going to watch fine but stop moaning on here you have made your choice. If the club folds in future will get my football fix elsewhere but in the meantime I am an Iron fan.
Watched at home in black and white. My wife who I was to meet 4 years later tells me she was going round Scunny market. Says it was very quiet

Jimmy Dean had a hit in 60s with Big Bad John. Sounds like a good centre forward to me.
Last week after well over sixty years supporting the Iron I thoughtthe highs and lows of supporting a club for me had gone forever. Hopefully we have turned a corner and I will get behind the new owner but after the last 10 years of false promises there is still that bit of doubt there.
Truly hope I am proved wrongIf the worst happens and the club is wound up couldn’t the council refuse planning permission for the ground and surrounding area thereby reducing its value substantially. Or a compulsory purchase order bui have no idea what grounds are needed to do that.
Will keep the cork in the champagne bottle just a little longer.

Its my team and I will keep going. Not at all happy with the way it has been run but they won’t be here forever.
Teams like ours are used to setbacks and we all hope to get back in the League. If it doesn’t happen life goes on.
I do have a laugh when big teams slip down the Leagues and everyone seems to be concerned about them. Personally I hope Everton go down this year, they need to see how the other half live.
I don’t have Sky TV to to try and make sure my money stays away from the top. I believe football was taken away from the working class when wage cap was got rid of. Players even in clubs like ours get too much.
If football is getting you down too much the rest of your life can’t be too bad.6 users thanked author for this post.
Beating Chelsea when we were in 2nd Division. Definately a night match. John Kaye scored one when he put Bonetti over the line whilst hold of the ball in the times when keepers wern’t protected species. Did John get a hat trick that night?
Well the chairman has obviously ignored my opinions that I put on his survey. Hande up everyone who is confident he will make the right choice this time.
Would love to see Nige back but think rhere is zero chance uf that.1 user thanked author for this post.
Must be honest went determined to criticise but was pleasantly surprised that I couldn’t. Only a preseason and will wait and see but not all doom and gloom —- yet.
Sorry, my wife won’t let me go.
Not bothered with i follow and not listened to Hullberside at all this season. Will return once this strange season has passed to meet friends and to be able to moan in person.
Do not want my last match at Scunny to be a defeat to the cods.
Fresh start next season and ever hopeful things will get better but not confident. At least its better than shopping.1 user thanked author for this post.
