    Lottery winner is pie in the sky, we need solid investment, I’m sure Michelle and her board will be on the case, we are totally in their hands I believe but she is a proven businesswoman with a solid record, in Michelle we trust.

    There are grants available too don’t forget !

    Indeed there are. Bury bought their ground back from admin, slightly different I know but they did receive a grant of 1 Mill towards it.

    good news the bans have been overturned … surely mr Herbert is not being so lucky, do the club need ‘fans” like him acting up like he is actually part of the club staff hanging about like a bad smell

    Regardless of any other behaviour, throwing an object (a phone) onto the pitch merits a ban. It’s against the club’s own rules.

    It certainly is good news. Is it now a case of, the end of “The W.H.A.M ban, thankyou Ma’am”? Sorry….

    BTW, I should have added, Lifeline, is totally independent of the club.

    We have something at Notts called Lifeline. Set up in the mid 1980’s, 2,500 people, (That’s the limit allowed due to gambling laws?), pay a tenner a month to be a member. Weekly prizes, quarterly prizes and a once a year £10,000 prize. It doesn’t raise earth shattering amounts, (£200,000 pa ?), but it sure is handy when your club is struggling, as ours has, many times over the years. Or do you think the situation at Scunny is still to “fluid” to set something like that up ATMIT? You could call it “Home Bru” or the “Iron Foundry”, I’ll get me coat………..

    If…
    If only we can survive!

    There be rumours:
    Matt Ellis

    @mgell1s
    A huge thank you to everyone who donated digitally and in person yesterday and to those who manned the buckets. It’s been an insane week. I am told that there may well be light at the end of the tunnel for this 124 year old club that we all love. Stick together and up the Iron.

    I’m gonna go for a bit of poetry, just cos I like it and I think it suits.

    If you can keep your head when all about you
    Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
    If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
    But make allowance for their doubting too;
    If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
    Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies,
    Or being hated, don’t give way to hating,
    And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise:

    If you can dream—and not make dreams your master;
    If you can think—and not make thoughts your aim;
    If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
    And treat those two impostors just the same;
    If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken
    Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
    Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
    And stoop and build ’em up with worn-out tools:

    Jake Bugg is also a Notts fan, let’s hope they all get involved. I have posted the Iron Army video for the gofundme appeal on all the Notts media I could find, hopefully that will bring a few quid in.
