Accept it can be interpreted, but to quote ‘of that starting 11 today I think 8 will start next season, I’ve been planning that since Christmas’.
Harsh Bartoniron, I don’t agree with your view on not wanting them near the club. For me they have displayed some passion these last few weeks. Too many happy clappers at our club these days.

Have you spoken to Neil Wright about this Iron King ? Would he be interested ? Gets my vote.

Fair play to them. We have all been far too tolerant and compliant this season (me included). Hence why we will be fighting relegation next season whilst still under the very dark cloud and stewardship of Earnest, whilst Oldham might be on the brink of a brighter future.
Is that 3 0 to Scunny Awaywego ? If that’s the score then I will get you half a dozen pints in the Iron bar before the first home game of next season.
This is what it has come to. Pity all those turning up to pay up to £26 for a Category A match (yes you read right, this match is Category A) to watch the kind of team being banded about on here. I’ve got a season ticket but don’t fancy wasting another afternoon watching Scunny youth team get hammered anything up to 5 with our usual 0.
Swann the bad guy for sure les, but Hill could and should have done much better.
Far from convinced about Hill. Total clear out required, and that includes the manager.

It’s so depressing. Very hard to keep the faith these days jc
If it is Sharpe and Maza then I hope they are just the front men behind a consortium. It’s not the just the club and ground to buy, there needs to be additional funds for next years playing budget also not to mention ground improvements (scoreboard for one). I fear whilst these two look quite financially sound, do they have enough to buy the club and then add further investment on top ? Not so sure….but that’s what it needs.
Was far from embarrassing in my opinion. Well done is what I say.

I am one who will not be renewing my season ticket or those for my young family members next year purely down to Swann. Give us our ground back and walk away completely and there will be 3 season tickets renewed for next season tomorrow, until then no chance. Call me stubborn if you wish, but I see it as the only meaningful way I can make a stand. Protests etc are all good, but no message will be more powerful in my opinion then when season ticket sales are at an all time low and circa 50% down on this years.

Whats the story behind the CEO leaving ? Must have missed that news. She was one of Swann’s trust steeds wasn’t she ?
Please accept my apologies for being underwhelmed at this stage. Swann still has control and the ground, so nowt much has really changed on the really important stuff.

Hill could have made a better fist of it in my opinion. He has been a major disappointment to date as far as I am concerned.

Whose that then iron king ? Leanne Mayo also calling it a day ?
Let’s get back on subject. Even though it will most probably the last EFL game of my lifetime I won’t be there. Nor will I be there next season until there are changes made at the top, although I was interested to hear on the podcast that our beloved chairman said that if we achieved season ticket sales of 1800 to 2000 we would have a budget that would have us competing towards the top of the national league. If I believed that for a second I would renew, but I don’t so I won’t.

That’s the one Bobby. Loving this, welcome distraction from the rest of the doom and gloom.

The athletics stadium in Sheffield where we played Rotherham in the FLT ? Forget the names
of the stadium….I don’t think we will struggle…I know we will. Lower budget next season when season ticket sales hit an all time low, equals even worse players than this season, all carefully selected by our amazing chief scout. Stumble through next season and then I think Ernest will put his ultimate plan into action (in my opinion).

Reported…..was never that many there. More like 1600….who yet again were not entertained.

Yep, what a masterstroke that was !

Agree CBRP. I am another season ticket holder of 35 years who won’t be going next year whilst ever Swann is involved.

A solid season of stability….in the national league….wow how exciting is that to look forward to. That should bring the crowds back. The club is knackered until Swann ships out.

It’s quite simple really, you don’t score means you don’t win games. That team does not have enough nearly enough firepower to score the goals we need to win games. 24 goals scored all season is beyond pathetic. Dominic Telford at Newport has scored as many goals as our whole team put together. Those brought in during January might be a slight improvement in some aspects but they have also proven they don’t have a goal between them. Absolute tosh.

Can’t stand the excitement
I’ve never had a bet against Scunny, but the 10/11 is really tempting me tonight. An opportunity to almost double my money in 90 minutes seems an opportunity not to let pass
As you say we aren’t in this position because of refereeing decisions, so irrelevant really. Let’s focus on the real person to blame for the loss of our league status.
