First 11 mid table, if and when the injuries and suspensions bite we will be in a relegation battle. No real strength in depth that you need to compete near the top.

Based on the current squad and (lack of a) strike force I would say not a lot !

Any newfound optimism will only be sustained if we do well on the pitch, and for that I am not hopeful.

Good signings if you are happy to be floundering around the relegation trap door. A kid in goal is not a good signing to me, nor are a couple of sick notes in Whitehouse and Nthle. Boyce ok for any team looking to consolidate in the National League. I guess sadly that is the extent of our ambition these days. Cheers Earnest you tool.

Agree with awaywego, they have priced to maximise season ticket sales and to hell with the casuals. Until mid Oct when they are near the bottom and the 2 game for 1 type offers start rolling out as winter begins to bite and they try to keep gates above 1500

Those prices won’t encourage the casual fan. Over £20 to watch non league football unless you fork out for membership and buy in advance. At a time when the cost of living has never been so high.

    Absolute bonkers.

If we are relying on him to shoot us to mid table obscurity then heaven help us ! 8 goals a season man tops.

Even by our standards has go to down as one of the worst signings ever made. Take a bow chief scout and ex manager.

Class for Guiseley in national league north ? Might be worth taking a punt in 12 months time then, as that’s where we will be this time next year the way we are going.

Sure he is, after all he’s a league player now. Wouldn’t surprise me if he isn’t a league or two above L2 either within a couple Of years. Always a player in there, just we couldn’t find it.

McAtee stars again. The same McAtee we couldn’t get the best out of. Managed to find plenty more who we can’t get the best out of since. Was it McAtee or is it the club ? Where’s the common denominator? Indicative of our current rotten to the core stinking club.

Absolutely amazed by that number. Thought they would be lucky to get 500. Should be a nice juicy player budget now then….

Well one things for sure, we won’t have more season ticket holders next year than this year, so that means the budget will be lower than this year, which means another season of shite football, watching kids trying to play a man’s game with zero entertainment.

All the time Swann is happy to stand back and watch it happen, with no attempt to even try to rectify the damage he has caused.

Not enough to tempt me into renewing…and I don’t see finding better things to do than watch that tripe every Saturday as cutting my nose off to spite my face either.

And here lies the first issue in my opinion.13 players under contract. Foster, Lewis, Young, Moore-Billam not ready for anything other than the odd few games. Beeston ok, the rest not good enough due to attitude or capability. Wouldn’t bother with Bunn. Rowe ok.

So we have potentially 2 players ready for the National League battle.

Recruitment of 15+ players needed to be anything like competitive.

With zero faith in Uncles Will and Keith I would say we are doomed !

-61 in the end. 29 goals scored, 90 conceded….chairman, managers, players, chief scout, COO, CEO, rest of the Swann family, all hang your heads in shame. Beyond embarrassing. The supporters deserve so much better than every one of you.

Couldn’t agree more Brassy. Hill seems to be also trying to cause as much embarrassment to our club as he can. We are a laughing stock.

Just to be clear Siderite, you are correct. I saw or heard nothing racist towards Joe Nuttall yesterday. Just the Iron fans frustrated by another insipid performance from him and letting him know. His response was out of order. Our more youthful supporters are not everyone’s cup of tea. For me though I have never seen them be racist, only passionate in their support of the iron and prepared to stand up and make life uncomfortable for Swann for what he has done to all of our’s club. No room for racism that’s for sure, but I haven’t seen anything of that nature.
