So bad beyond belief. Evans is hopeless, send Harris back to Spennymoor and get rid of Butler.
Absolute shite, away first and last day of season, the mighty and well supported Peterborough sports and kings lynn for Christmas and Easter, alfreton away Tuesday night…couldn’t be much worse in my view…only positive Scarborough away during the last knockings of summer, but poor consolation. Surely we didn’t request any of the above !!

Very good turnout and lovely service. John jr and Robert did so well with their words, full respect to them. Also nice words from Lee Turnbull on behalf of the club. A fitting send off. RIP Staffy !

Great fella, was part of my initiation into all things SUFC via away trips in the early 80’s aged 14 and being ‘looked after’ by him, Gosser and Jerry. Some great memories and stories to tell there ! Been a mate ever since and I am Still going now 40 years later.
RIP John. Iron legend
If we don’t go up this season I can see 6 or 7 years in NLN…we won’t have a budget next season like this season, and the NLN novelty factor will wear off for many, sending gates tumbling back down to the 2500 / 2000 mark. It’s this season or not for a long while in my opinion !

She missed a few but don’t they all at this level. For me she was one of the better ones we have had to endure this season.

I will start off by answering the question, and my answer is I will be bloody annoyed !
Can’t see how they can charge anything more than £15 if they want to retain a decent attendance. We are talking region non league football after all ! If we remain full time if relegated, then someone will be doing some serious bankrolling. Whatever the price, our attendances won’t support full time football in my opinion.
Good idea in principle not sure how many of the average supporters will see it as a worthwhile investment for a large outlay though with not a lot tangible given back in the short term. I’m always glass half empty, so If I buy a share as an 80 year old and die a year later I assume my share and all associated benefits get passed to my nearest and dearest ?
I believe the trust have space on the committee NLI…I will propose you if you fancy it ? Just need someone to second it.
Much better statement than the last one !

I would be interested to know what working relationship they currently have with the club which they believe needs protecting.

Poor from the Iron trust that.
You clearly know more than us average fans SST….anything more you can tell us ? You are doing a better job in keeping us informed than the fans director.
I would say our crowds would be somewhere between 1000 and 1500 unless Elliott’s army are storming it !
If it goes ahead then I can see it being a record low attendance for a league game. Unless of course they count all the season ticket holder’s who don’t turn up to make it look better. I know a lot of season ticket holder’s saying they aren’t going tomorrow due to weather / shit football / World Cup semi etc and I must admit sitting out for two hours watching crap and boring football isn’t appealing to me at this moment in time.
How many will be there ? Trip to Yeovil or watch England in quarter finals…I know which I will be doing and it doesn’t involve a ten hour round trip to see the iron put in yet another gutless performance.

It was more than 1400 from notts in my opinion. Doesn’t that away end hold minimum 1600 ? It was definitely full. 2500 Scunny fans I would say. I was expecting more I must admit, but definitely a much better atmosphere, well until about 1.15pm anyway !
Just another thing to thank Swann for. Everything around the club is just so toxic, disharmony everywhere. He has created that culture and environment alongside everything else. A true disgrace of a man.

Would love to hear him have a crack at Swann.

Whilst ever Dewhurst is in goal I don’t fancy us for a win.
I think it is indicative of the whole malaise around what has happened. Swann has done his worst and on the whole WE supporters have stood by and allowed him to do it, with nothing more than a couple of half hearted protests. No other clubs fans would have allowed this to happen without making things much more uncomfortable for the perpetrator. I include myself in that by the way, I’m as guilty as anyone in just standing by and letting us lose our ground, slip into non league in the most embarrassing way imaginable and continue to witness new lows (as Saturday was) with there being no consequence for those who have led us to where we are. We are ALLfar too compliant, me included.

A bit of effort yesterday would have been a start. I would swap the SS number 9 for Nuttall any day of the week. He was constantly on the move, unlike our bumbling number 9 who never broke sweat.

Just back from the game. A total disgrace and embarrassment. Not one player fit to wear the shirt.

Daws saying some academy players will be involved doesnt sound to me as though we will be putting our strongest side out. Get ready to chalk up yet another day of embarrassment come Saturday.

He was Better than any of them jokers we play at the back these days that’s for sure.

Pay at the ticket office in the corner. If you want to be well and truly fleeced that is. Up to £25 for anyone who just decides last minute to go down. For non league football, and pretty poor standard non league football at that, it’s a joke really.
Excellent news. He has also played a major part in our downfall alongside his dad.

The end is nigh for the club never mind Keefy. Quickly sinking into oblivion.

Scunny 3/1 to win at home to Solihull Moors. Just shows how far into the depths of despair Earnest has taken us. Although when he finally f##ks off no doubt he will still be claiming he has left us in a better place then when he arrived.
