Pat, I’m disgusting for wanting people who libel people to face the consequences? Likewise I guess I’m disgusting for accepting violent people being handcuffed.
Is there anything that doesn’t offend you people?
Nothing wrong with violent people being handcuffed……by the Police, are you also happy for people that physically and verbally abuse fans to carry handcuffs around?

I can’t see what has or will change other than he no longer called the Chairman, everything else remains, he still owns the club, the ground and surrounding land.

The security firm should refuse to cover any of our games if their staff are unable to carry out their duties as they are trained.
If you get offended by a violent person being handcuffed you should seek help.
Except that he conveniently misses out the fact that his employee shoved the fan back for the heinous crime of placing his hands on the perimeter gate, and in the ensuing verbals his employee called said fan a fat C U Next Tuesday. Now this doesn’t give the fan the right to swing at him but I would argue there are mitigating circumstances in play.
Moral of the story is if you are going to take a side than make sure you have all the facts!!!

1. Deliver on at least ONE promise he made when he took the club over
2. Give the club the ground and surrounding land back
3. Sack his son that has ZERO qualifications to be in position of chief scoutThere is plenty more but this would be a good start.
while were a it I would like you to answer the 2 questions I have asked many times but you keep dodging.
1. Name ONE thing that Swann has improved in his time at OUR club.

The fan JUMPED over the wall, if he had behaved himself he wouldn’t have got handcuffed. He chose to confront the security team and was dealt with professionally.
I’ll ask again as you didn’t answer last time I asked, why didn’t the Rochdale fans that jumped the wall and got in our players faces not receive the same treatment from the cowards prancing around in Hi-Vis?

The actions of a security team have nothing to do with the chairman, stadium manager maybe.
The actions of any employee or contactor appointed by the club have everything to do with the Chairman, the buck stops with him end off.

A few people have mentioned his signings in January, I can’t go along with criticising Hill for that, although for the most part they have not been good, they were probably the best available to him thanks to Swann.

I don’t think anyone has condoned his actions, he was out of order jumping over the wall, but then so were the Rochdale fans that came on the pitch AND confronted our players, they got a hand shake and a helping hand back to their seat!
Why should Swanny respond when Simon stuck the boot in.

They should Pat, although there’s a difference between running on the pitch in celebration and swinging for a steward.
And how does a steward know what somebody’s intentions are when running on the pitch? The Rochdale fan that got right in our players faces was not even ejected let alone slammed to the ground and cuffed!!! There has to be consistency or people get pi55ed off, that incident could have very easily turned VERY nasty on Saturday, all down to over zealous stewarding, I saw the incident and didn’t see any punches swung at the steward (not saying it didn’t happen) but not from where I was sat.

Utter clowns on here blaming Rory, for 2 poor games!!!! Jesus what about the fact we have had more red cards than goals scored by ANY of our so called strikers??????
If it were not for Rory then our goals against column would be a hell of a lot worse than it is! He’s been playing behind 10 piles of utter shite for at least two years, i’m surprised the lad still has the heart to turn up every week, it must be depressing knowing you are going out to be used for shooting practise for the opposition every week1

A mass walk out in the 72nd minute to symbolise our 72 years in the football league coming to an end. Then gather outside the Telegraph stand at the director’s entrance.
That’s if anyone can last 72 minutes watching this rubbish.
Now this is a good idea, non violent, and would really send a statement to the Swann’s, however for it to work EVERYONE has to be onboard.
