Their keeper didn’t have his best game though…

We were always going to go out on a missed penalty!
Same to us, almost every tournament again, mostly multiple misses…
Depends on recruiting, and with the recruiting from last seasons in mind, my expectations are not that high… Hopefully mid table, but for me the way of playing football is more inportant than results, as long as we stay out of the bottom.
Can’t find any news on him leaving.
When and where to?Agree about the handball, but he is allowed to run the whole pitch and score. Why?
Also Watson’s reaction is not really accurate…
After that, Delaney looses his man twice at the 2nd and 3rd goal. Shocking defending again.Same as every week. Playing rather well, and even scoring a goal from open play.
Then a very naive mistake (which normally cost us a goal, now a red card) and we give it away…I predict an almost every week performance.
Playing not badly, a few half chances, blocked shots, corners for us.
Then the opposition take advantage from a mistake by us (loose the second ball, a defender who let’s his man slip behind, losing possession in a dangerous place), and with our lack of scoring goals we cannot repair anything. Later, given away space while trying to attack, they will couterattack to a second and maybe a third goal…Probably they will say the same about us…
Must be a draw then ;)Please, in case of an advantageous score, keep playing forward in stead of laying back and inviting the opposition to attack (in in most cases, to equalise at least).

I see iFollow is back to not allowing Saturday 3pm games again. Was really hoping that would change.
Oh well I’ll have to go back to being Dutch on a Saturday afternoon.
Joining me? ;)
I will follow on Twitter, as I will be travelling to Salzburg with my son, to visit a match (and have a little holiday)Now the time has come to get some forwards through the other door.

I think it’s not necessarely about when you get your new players in, but on which players you can sign.
Remember a few years ago when we were very happy with early bird Iwelumo, and I thought those 3 Preston boys also came in early.I have only seen the highlights, but if those were the HIGHlights, it really must have been a really bad game to watch, apart from the result.
4&11 for me, although I don’t really rate the away strips.
In my opinion one of the biggest problems thta’s not mentioned yet is too many players are not able to read the game, so very often they will be surprised in a situation and make a wrong decision.
I know, at this level you can’t expect all players to be all so smart, and also young players won’t be so but I think it is a key ability for getting results. On the keeper thing: Age does not make a goalkeeper experienced, and a keeper doesn’t need expeirnce to be commanding his defense.
Even with a fully fit KvV we won’t transfer from a relegation bound team into a stable midtable team.
Bottom half, let’s say 17th.
There will be more teams who struggle.
4-5-1 doesn’t automatically mean to be a defensive line-up, it’s the intention that makes a line-up defensive or attacking.
So, the play-off final from L1 to Championship will be next years second big money match, after the play-off final to the PL?
