All football fans will find something to moan and groan about, even in the best of times. I don’t think it should used as a stick to beat them with or be reminded that they can be fickle. And forums like Bru are notorious for raising and discussing things that aren’t right to supporters. Just because we were challenging for League 1 promotion doesn’t mean everything was rosy. And as I’ve said, it’s usually those that see games week in week out that are the most vocal, and they’re the best qualified to opinionate. As someone who’s barely seen any matches on ifollow this season I’ll trust there is meaningful and constructive points being made in a lot of their posts. If that entails a bit of ‘moaning and groaning’, so be it.
The only things that are going to get the crowds back are a mix of good matchday experience (includes entertaining football and challenging for promotion) and feeling part of the club. Anyone who thinks it’s just about league position is a fool.

The complaints from supporters about ‘boring’ football tend to come from those who are watching games week in week out and paying for the privilege (if you can call it that). They are the most qualified to pass judgement and criticise the style of football. I don’t see a problem with that. Many are also looking at the wider picture such as entrertaining football attracting fans back, when allowed. That seems sensible.
No.4?! Number two more like!!
Can you post up the otions for those of us who didn’t see them last time round?
Not sure if this can be done. Once you’d voted on the original survey you couldn’t get back to that last page with all the choices on (well I couldn’t anyway).
Anyone take a screenshot?
The original survey is closed so you can’t see the all options now. The only thing might be for someone to take a screenshot of the last 2 options before they submit and share them…
Not averse to white shorts rather than blue. Might actually look better…
Home kit narrowed down to 2 options-you’ll get an email if you voted last time. Please don’t vote for the first option. 2nd option (number 5) with blue shorts and white socks.

All okay as far as I can tell BS. Nice to see you’re in good spirits 👍
You missed your vocation!
It gets better 😂
I’m laughing at how poor that joke was BS 😂
The refereeing in the Premiership this season has been abysmal, particularly the way they’re interpreting VAR. Whether it’s actually worse than previous years, it’s hard to say as I didn’t use to watch anywhere near the number of matches I’m watching now. If it is worse then there’s a good chance that could be mirrored in leagues 1 and 2?
Good discussion on the subject. Not sure either way tbh. I can see pros and cons to keeping and to getting rid. I don’t think simply doing either is the solution.
If it’s the same Rochdale game, I remember that there was freezing fog. Only knew that Rochdale had scored again at the Fox Street end was when they all came back to kick off again. Happened at least 4 times!!
I definitely remember that time, not sure it was the same match or not. Snow swirling around the Donny Road End as BS says, for sure.
Don’t mention orange ball and orange lines, or were they blue lines
back in the 70’s we played Rochdale at the OSG and lost 4-0. They had four shots and scored four goals, we just slid around on our arses for 90 minutes. No more of that orange ball milarky thank you very much.
Remember that. Was it 77 or 78? What a rubbish game.
So do either of you have anything useful or constructive to say or are you determined to continue with the type of posts that seem to be annoying others? Last I’ll say on it. Leave you to it.
Yes, I’ve seen them Ferrite. Good bit of work.
Not going to repeat the same discussions we’ve had on here and other environments about the relationship between fans and the club owners and how other club’s owners put ours to shame, I think the OP speaks for itself. Lincoln fans are lucky to have someone who gives a s*** about their value and appreciates their contribution and heritage.

Yeah, you’re right Ferrite. I’ve posted my thoughts on this aspect on another thread. Hands up, I’ll stop having a dig at Alcazar if you think it will help encourage others to contribute something useful to the ground ownership issue. I wish I could suggest a way forward but can’t. I suspect that’s the real reason not much is being said about it?
Ah yes Ironking, single out me for me for creating an anagram that took it’s lead from the Ernest Pawn one (funny how that wasn’t juvenile eh?) for all the current woes regarding ground ownership and the fact that many fans are too apathetic or wary about voicing concerns on a public forum. Yeah, well done. How noble of you. Neither of the posts have been ‘robbed’ so don’t blame me or anyone else for others not being arsed to contribute anything substantial.
This situation has been building up for years. Many of us have been banging on about it for years whilst the majority, particularly on here, have happy clapped their way along or stuck their head in the sand. Years ago we talked about the possibility of fan ownership and barely anyone came forward with offers of cash. It was inevitable when the s*** really started hitting the fan, some supporters would wake up whilst I would imagine many others are thinking ‘what did you expect?!’ and have far bigger concerns right now like a catastrophic pandemic that has a major impact on their livelihoods and their families future.
You talk about the issues 99% has raised? Of course he has in the past but all he’s done now is say ‘I told you so’ and nothing else. Alcazar has done the same and rubbed it in further by claiming since sort of victory from it. After years of this situation building up, our club being literally over a barrel, I’m not going to apologise for making one joke to to 99% about his shed and having a go at Alcazar. Btw, has he added anything new and positive to the debate? No. Hence my anagram. Childish it was, but hey shoot me down for introducing a bit of banter. Awaywego makes a very low comment about 99% and Covid but no chastising for him I see.
Having said all that, I will happily cut the wise cracks and digs at Alcazar and look forward to watching the constructive debate flow about how we get out of this mess. Tbh, and sorry of this sounds defeatist, but I fear it’s too little too late. If anyone’s got a plan though I’ll look forward to seeing and supporting it.
You have a point Ferrite though I’m not quite sure what you expected the outcome would be of a provocative ‘I told you so’ opening post designed to wind up other posters, many of whom were also saying this years ago but don’t feel the need to claim some sort of victory from it, or parade a messiah complex. That said, there are a number of other current posts about the direction of the club which haven’t degenerated in to tedious juvenile name calling. ‘Every’ post is an exaggeration.
‘As for criticising Swann, look back and see who was the first and consistent critic.’
Would you like a medal?
Nothing nasty about my comment. 99% will know it’s meaning in jest. Awaywego’s certainly. Get over yourself Brett. You’re not the only who’s been critical of the owner over the years. Plenty of others have been, including me. The difference is, most of us occasionaly have something good to say about something or somebody.
That’s nice

Like working hard for a living and taking responsibility???
You might work it out if you take your tin hat off

Back peddling nonsense.
‘the last 3 Wimbledon managers were ex player’s’. What? And you reckon that’s nepotism? Get a grip 😂😂
Do you mean ‘you’re’ not the brightest?
What say I? I think you talk gibberish. Just admit it was a lame assumption and stop embarrassing yourself 😂
