Judging by your second paragraph Bucks you are clearly right that he’s wasting his time. Irony is completely lost on you isn’t it? Carry on trying to claw back some credibility and respect.
Some posters seem to suffer from Moderator envy.
Not sure. I don’t think you can say he kept us up. More like Grimsby and Southend let us off the hook. Would we want to be keeping him had we been relegated?

Lol, the biggest irony in all this is that it was actually Bucks going on and on about pies with his pointless review of his eating experience, including a pie, at The Ropery! The phrase ‘yum yum’ was used 😂. And then, pretty much any time any poster, including Pat, criticised the catering arrangements at GP, Bucks would dismiss it as ‘moaning about pies again’. Talk about rewriting history!
Can testify to that I-A. Had some good chat with Rochdale fans in that very bar.

Who owns the GP bricks and mortar now?
Or, put it another way: if we all just said everything was great all the time or never criticised, would that change anything on or off the pitch?
‘People like you think they’re blameless when in fact they are very much part of the problem.’
Please elaborate on how we are ‘very much part of the problem’ UTI99. There’s obviously a problem, you’ve just acknowledged it, but given a large swath of supporters don’t feel connected to the club anymore, in what shape or form are we to blame for the problem?

The ‘ilk’ being ‘Morons’ I guess UTI99?
What will being optimistic achieve? Give me something to be optimistic about and I might be.

‘Positivity breeds positivity.’ Any more banalities while you’re around? Here’s a fact for you: some clubs seem to be able to operate well and thrive on a vastly reduced budget. We don’t. Maybe it’s not a lack of positivity that’s the problem but a lack of ability running a football club?

Depends what your definition of ‘stolen’ is.

I thought the Lib Dems supported the right to peaceful protest? You might want to check what you’ve signed up to.
I can’t see anything like that happening at all. But hey, if dampening or belittling a course of action you don’t like is what you want to do, carry on.

Still not good enough Deerey? people have been wanting a statement he gives one and guess what you slag him for it, you have no class Deerey.
That’s right, resort to insults. Don’t lie. I haven’t slagged him off in that post or anywhere. I’ve given my opinion. People aren’t calling for yet another statement! Guess what? You don’t seem capable of reading and interpreting much or making sense at all. And by the way, that’s not slagging off either, it’s a statement of fact. If you can’t debate constructively please don’t engage with my posts.
These sort of statements come out after virtually every moment of crisis or failure. I’m not convinced this will appease supporters serious and justifiable concerns about the last three years and the future on and off the pitch. Why should it given recent history?
You’re so far removed from reality it’s unbelievable.
Those so called fans who have done this need bringing to justice. It doesn’t vindicate you regarding you ‘Scunny fans are the worst’ post at all awaywego. The majority are not like that and to tar the majority with the same brush as those low lifes is highly contemptuous.
Yes, and you might show more respect by actually spelling his name right awaywego.
‘This should not have happened with children present.’
It shouldn’t have happened full stop. However, this has nothing to do with peaceful protest about the current situation and the direction club is heading, which UTI99 is trying to turn in to it. Almost like he’s been charged with dampening enthusiasm for it or is trying to shut it down by posting lies like this:
‘Also coming from the poster who is encouraging a ‘protest’ to spread hate and abuse is abit hypocritical.’
No one, including luncentdream, has said that, and I trust that is not the intention; the intention surely being to make feelings known loud and clear and absolutely not spreading hate and abuse?
Link to it below. Well said Max, very good piece…

Ah, but then there was Covid.
As many excuses as there were pounds to gamble with but ultimately to squander.

Personally Alcy, I think the debt will be kept down now. Does it really matter to him what revenue is generated from the club itself? The profits are going to made from property development aren’t they? I’m not convinced falling gates and dropping down the non leagues are too much concern for him. Agree with the rest of the post though.

‘I believe it is important that the fans leave Swann in no doubt about the depth of feeling, but people should still take note of what UTI is saying. It won’t help the club one bit if this turns into a “Swann out” vendetta.’
IMO you are absolutely clueless. You think he’s going to take notice of a well publicised poll? You think we should take notice of UTI99? You think anyone should take any notice of the person who has treated with contempt any legitimate criticisms of the way things are operating and heading over the last few years, but does a volte face when the crisis is deep? No. The more protest, the more ‘moaning and groaning’ as you put it the better. Money is the only thing talking here, and the only thing that will make him change the way he’s operating is if his investment is being sullied. Get the protests going and get it covered by local and national media. Don’t stay away when we’re allowed back in the ground, keep the protest going inside GP. Some may want to shout him out, others may not, the point is the longer any vocal protest continues, the more chance of some change for the better by him doing what’s necessary to ensure we don’t drop down the non leagues.

That wouldn’t be the focus of any protest as well you know. It’s not the root of the problem.

And, as I’ve posted on another thread ‘moaning and groaning’ louder and in greater numbers more consistently might be the only thing we can do right now. I’m sure many on here will emphasise with Pat, the many that have been straw manned by Bucks over the years. Maybe if the majority hadn’t been so quiet and apathetic over the last few years we wouldn’t be in this impossible situation now? Anyway, that’s in the past. I’m not particularly confident enough people really care but we can but hope more and more will ‘moan and groan’ louder and longer and gain allies that just might make a difference?

Although we won’t be expelled from the league for debt reasons I can see us dropping the league’s like a stone unless there’s radical changes in player and coaching staff recruitment and Board involvement. What we can do about that I don’t know. Just keep complaining about it as much as possible and in greater numbers I suppose? Though I’m not confident that will happen given the majority of fans have been pretty happy to let things develop as they have over the last few years without too much objection. As soon as there’s any upturn in fortunes on the pitch, most will turn a blind eye.

Bob Steels in his Telegraph piece mentioned Bury too. But the key difference is that, as far as I’m aware, Steve Dale hasn’t got the go ahead to redevelop the surrounding land with property. This makes our situation worse doesn’t it, as there’d be less interest from a new buyer? As far as I’m aware, Dale is still open to selling at a price that suits him and the stadium and land remains dormant.
What about the appointment of Rodders? That was a good use of money wasn’t it? 🙄

‘He needs to win back the trust of supporters, which does matter even for a small club.’
You’re confusing what you want him to do with what he actually thinks he needs to do, which I reckon are two different things and have been for years. Worth a try though
