“The worst player we have ever signed”
A title that will never be taken from George Miller.
Looked a bad decision which coming from Mr Kettle is no surprise.
I’m saving time and money on a Saturday afternoon if that counts?

Maybe some of our fans need to experience 4 seasons in the National League before appreciating the EFL?
Some of us would prefer it not to happen rather than being happy to sit there and smile and clap while we slide into extinction.

Even in a clean, friendly and well stocked/staffed stadium we’d be struggling to attract people with the garbage that is on offer on the pitch.
I’d expect multiple below 2000 attendances and probably sub 1500 on Tuesdays in the winter.

Humberside commentary was shocking.
Newey was OK, but not the same without Mike White, other bloke was dreadful.Absolute dogshit.
He didn’t know who any of the players were and sounded like he’d seen about 3 football matches in his life.
Assumed Mike was off but then he piped up doing highlights from Hull for some reason.
Hippolyte had 8/9 corners first half none of them threatening
Disagree with that. The first one was awful and a couple more weren’t great but some were delivered very well into dangerous areas and just weren’t attacked.

3 at the back doesn’t work none of the 3 look like they know what their responsibilities are.
Pugh was weak for the cross for the equaliser but decent game apart from that.
Hippolyte had a better game and was miles ahead of Green who is utterly ineffective at the minute.
If it wasn’t for Watson actually having a good game in the first half and some unbelievably incompetent finishing in the second half we could have lost by 3 or 4 to one of the worst teams I’ve seen us play for a few years.
No idea how to manage a game. No clue what to do when in front (because of how rarely it happens presumably).
Green needs a spell out of the side he’s offering nothing. Awful again today.
Scrimshaw looks decent might be good for some goals paired with Loft and give some service but no idea where the service is coming from.
Make no mistake about how much trouble we are in.
Thank god for Oldham.

Bunn injured warming up so Scrimshaw gets a start

Not for me
I hope Cox doesn’t see that Les! Any excuse to get another defender on.
Thought Pugh was excellent in centre mid.
Really got stuck in and has a great engine by the looks of it. If we can get Millen fit and he’s half decent Kenyon is struggling to get back in.
It’s going to be a long old season.
Scraped a point against a really poor side.
Switched off and gifted a goal again.
Rowe and O’Malley were awful so that’s all the full backs who look uncomfortable at wing back.
Hope Millen is decent cos Pugh definitely needs to stay in midfield. Effort and energy all game. One bright spot. The only one who didn’t spend the whole night looking back towards his own goal.
No idea what the formation is again and there certainly doesn’t appear to be a plan.
So so negative no desire to get forward and absolutely no urgency even at 1-0 down.
Watson
Pugh
Davis
Taft
Onarise
ThompsonPerry
BeestinGreen
Hippolyte
BunnIs what I think he will go with.
Green has been dreadful and doesn’t deserve to play tonight after the last 2 performances.
I’d go
Watson
Pugh
Onarise/Davis
Taft
ThompsonWilson
Beestin
Perry
HippolyteBunn
Jessop
Have a go and see what the young lads have got.
And covid
Didn’t put the Swindon fans off.
No it doesn’t effect anyone else remember.

Not really rocket science is it, if Cox thinks he’ll do more damage to the team by being on the pitch than off of it then he’s not going to play him.
This is the only logical explanation for me. No matter how shit he may be he is a striker who we are paying so logic would say give him a go.
Supposedly he was blamed for a goal last season so the only thing that makes sense is that Cox doesn’t trust him to do his work defensively, pick up his man at corners etc and considers him a liability.
Jessop on the other hand needs a chance. If you don’t think he’s good enough yet get him out on loan cos if you’re not going to pick him now then what’s the point of keeping him around?
Stick him up front with Beestin or Hallam as 10 and give him a chance.
2 shots on target and one corner hardly suggest a massive success.
Liked the ref.
He allowed tackling and was not influenced by stupid shouts for freekicks.
Got a huge percentage of decisions right.Neil tried something new in formation which failed – he was maybe a bit slow to react to them cutting us to shreds in CM but when he did make his change of style – it was spot on.
Please. Anybody – what system was it?
As far as I could see there were a load of systems it was not …Agreed good ref.
No idea what the system was but it worked better when Beestin came on and we had 3 in cm.
If Loft had stayed on and Beestin started instead of Green who was an absolute waste of space we might’ve looked almost competent.
It was pretty much 550 a lot of the time.
Good shift from the 3 CB’s and Pugh and Thompson did well enough without really looking comfortable as wing backs.
Perry and Beestin looked decent.
Bunn I’m not sure about yet.
The plan was clearly everyone except Loft behind the ball and flood the box with the big lads for long throws/corners but after loft went off there didn’t seem to be a plan B.

we were the better team throughout the second half
Absolute nonsense. We robbed a point.
It’s been a dire half of football.
Line up almost made me not bother buying a match pass.
It’s not going to be a good watch but you can almost make an argument for 5 at the back with Watson in the team.
I’d rather see Beestin and Jessop instead of Bunn and Green and go 532 at least.
Customers not Fans.
Treated like they are disposable till there is no one left.

It’s usually COVID’s fault I think?

Shame nobody at the club could see the potential and get a good fee for him.
They’ve never listened to anything the fans have said so I can’t imagine our opinions had any bearing on him leaving.

Mike Grella still gives me nightmares about American “strikers”
But Kelman doesn’t fit the bill not on loan in league 2 last year as far as I can see?
1 user thanked author for this post.
Especially since 442 has vanished after 1 game and we’re back to Loft upfront on his own which we showed repeatedly last season doesn’t work.
Cox has learned nothing apparently.

In the UK it’s only audio available. If you are outside the UK or make it appear as though you are then video is still available.
I am hoping Cameron Wilson might be the winger with pace. UTWI
Hopefully he’ll get a start Tuesday so we can have a look at him. Trouble is he’ll probably get picked at right back.
Hoping to see Collins as well assuming Bilson isnt fit.
3rd was more of “The Usual” from Watson. Very poor from Pugh but an average shot pretty much stright at him. Did he hold it? did he push it to safety? or did he do what he ALWAYS does and push it straight back into the box to a striker.
