Whitehall is in so assume Beck is playing as part of the back 5?

Or 2 upfront? But that seems unlikely.

Is that the Jamie Vardy that Alan Knill said was no better than the forwards we already had when he could have signed him from Halifax.

In his defence we did have Bobby Grant and Jordan Robertson so was he wrong??

I’d like to see us doing more of this. 5-10 minute highlights rather than just the goals.

Also interesting penalty decision no? Push a player over then kick it into his arms while he’s on the ground? Good job that one didn’t cost us.

Clunan is what we’ve missed since Bish left. It’s not a conincidence form dipped without him.

Poor marking for their second, complete free header is totally unacceptable, we got out of jail with the abandonment but it was the correct decision, should have be called off before stoppage time was even contemplated. Shocking officials, have we seen a worse referee at GP before? ( I imagine the Derek Deadman fanbase is baying to be heard ) 😂

Darren! I won’t forget that clowns name in a hurry.

Wasn’t there today so can’t comment but Deadman will take some beating. If it’s going to happen I’d imagine it’ll be while we’re down at this level.

I saw Les gave a 0 today so I can’t imagine how bad it must’ve been!

Abandoned after the full time whistle? And no reason given so far?

This is going to be interesting

Sure Beckford did? He looked completely without confidence missed a few chances then scored a tap in and never looked back.

And I’m pretty sure Mirfin got sent off on his? Away at Walsall?

It’s a travesty that someone with Jordan Henderson’s level of ability has earened £700,000 across his career nevermind in a week.

This doesn’t work. I’ve tried it and a msg comes up saying it is not allowed/ possible to connect to another source from laptop/ iPad. The only way if you have smart a TV is connect your vpn through the tv then connect via the browser
    Good luck

That sounds like an issue with either your laptop or TV having a restriction of some kind.

It looks like they are saying they won’t have cameras at the sat 3pm games for the north/south though so they won’t be available internationally which means no getting around it to watch unfortunately.

Where have you seen that? The website says the following but I guess it may only apply to the conference:

Games taking place during UEFA Blocked Hours (generally kicking off at 3pm) are available outside the UK, Republic of Ireland, Isle of Man and Channel Islands only.

If you’re streaming off your computer, you should be able to plug that into your TV via an HDMI or VGA cable. But Airplay should work if your TV is compatible, casting from your phone or ipad.

Only what I read on out OWS it’s just the way I read it. Hopefully I’m wrong but it read to me that they wouldn’t be at North/South games at all Saturday 3pm. It said 300 extra games which is way short if they’re showing all but I guess that could mean 300 extra to UK users.

You would hope with Nelson staying he is trusted to give advice about what he feels is needed and that some of the players previously identified are still on the list.

With the best will in the world to the new chairman and manager 7 from Ilkeston/Peterborough Sports will do us no good at all.
2/3 from there, 3/4 experienced players and 1/2 on loan from Peterborough or wherever and maybe we’re in with a shot.

Pugh will be much more depth. And he can play full back too

No he can’t. If he’s been signed as midfield depth fine it’s not the most pressing need by a long way but he can do a job there. If he’s playing RB he should’ve stayed at Scarborough where he would still be some way off good enough.

Bad sign if Swann appoints a permanent successor?

Surely if a takeover was anywhere near it would be interim and let the new chairman pick his man?

When I checked the BBC app for the lineup yesterday it had us playing with 10 men. 4-3-2 with Whitehouse LB Boyce CM and Carver up front.

Not sure alot of time will go into non league.

Bit shit the league make us wait that long FL were usually on by 8ish on sat night. But at least they are coming and you’re not forced into BT sport for even highlights.

“Despite finishing fifth in the Scottish Premiership last term, the Fir Park side have won just five games in 2022”

“However, troubling form and performances blighted the second half of their campaign, recording just three league victories on the way to finishing fifth”

    Sounds familiar!

Just cos we’ve got one striker doesn’t make him an automatic pick. We’ve started with Beestin up on his own before now.
I’d say it’s Guardiola style but it’s not quite having the same effect.

    He’s not league standard.

He has improved this year to the level where he might be a decent league 2/ national league backup but if he’s your starter you are in trouble. The bar for improvement was so low it’s difficult to say.

He was very very lucky to get another chance with us this year.

    Loads mentioned already

Forest 0-4 was the absolute highlight but Wembley trips, Cliff v Tranmere, going one up at Stamford bridge, Izzy away at Charlton and playoffs at home v Swansea are all massive highlights.

Couple of high points for me not mentioned.

Jackson’s free kick at the end away at hull to steal it 0-1

And Hayes’ blinder away at Mansfield on his 2nd or 3rd debut don’t remember which.

That was the day I really started to believe we could get to the championship.

First yellow was wrong for me, certainly harsh.
Second was a booking and Mathisen has to be smarter knowing he’s been booked first booking right or wrong he was never getting away with that it was stupid.

The handball for their first was so blatant he may has well have caught it and run it over the line like a rugby ball.
