Thinking about that myself Ex O, did Marine over commit to the wrong game.
Hopefully we start to dominate the league and managers start to target more important games as they see it for their team rather than turning our games into cup finals. Worked well for Adkins and didn’t upset to many, and certainly didn’t stop 3000 of us going up to Newcastle and making it something special.

Where did you get 3000 from? We took 800 up to Newcastle. St Paddy’s Day, midweek.

Love the sentiment behind the third shirt and the video is quality, but as a Scunthorpe shirt it’s horrific IMO. Will stick to buying the home/away.

Just been on and you’re still able to buy for the DRE – not sold out yet.

If we needed to raise £3m in 6 months we’d have to be raising just over £16,500 per day.

That’s the scale of the issue; our fan base just isn’t big enough to raise that kind of money, unfortunately.

Turn up early enough you might even get a game with a name like Pele ..

Looking at current attendances in NLN many away fixtures could possibly have more Scunny fans then home so would be hard to enforce proper segregation.

Will we though? Even the lowest average crowds of around 400 will be round about how many we take away.

Absolute delusion from sections of our fan base who think despite taking 300-500 away for an average league game for the last 15 years that we’ll suddenly be taking 800+ most weeks when half of the grounds have a couple of stands and a railing at the side of the pitch to stand against.

Our support is average at best and a good following to Nottingham at £10 and an hour away at York is hardly evidence of us taking over places week in week out.

Even if we do take 500 a few places, the atmosphere is non-existent unless the young lads are there singing, it’s hardly going to be rocking when we don’t even have a stand to congregate in and instead have to surround the pitch in single file with no roof in the middle of a cold, wet and windy November is it.

Is it all seating. My days of standing are done !!!

Yes all seated, great views from everywhere, atmosphere can be cracking too.

I very much doubt that. The away end is about 6 rows deep so behind the goal I imagine the view is shocking at best. Plus the number of “restricted view” seats you sell (at full price……) in the side stands, including the away overflow section, is quite frankly laughable for a brand new stadium.

Everybody will have their part to play in creating a good atmosphere. We know the young lads will be there giving it everything all game but people need to let them congregate together, and then join in with the singing instead of leaving them to it. Which I’m sure we all will; GP was rocking vs Bromley with all sides of the ground joining in. Bring it on!

Fingers crossed everybody is on their feet for their full 90 not sat moaning at somebody in their seat. Loud and proud, keep the noise up even if we do happen to go 2 or 3 goals down. Show the lads that we are with them for the final few games not just give up if it doesn’t go as we’d like on Saturday. UTI

2 penalties and 2 against conference north opposition though. Hardly on fire at Gateshead but hopefully he’ll be better than what we’ve had previously.

I do hope everyone who paid their tenner asked to be unsubscribed from their emailing list, (don’t know how you cancel a life membership) just like Turnbull not worth a w*** as they say.

I did exactly that on Friday in a reply to their email, calling them an embarrassment and letting them know that they should be ashamed to think they represent the fans. Absolute shambles of an organisation. Every single one of them should hang their heads.
