Thank you for a fun prediction league. I finally found my level in National League North, but am nevertheless proud of my performance. If only the Iron could have done the same. Like doris, I would also like you to retain my prize money for Iron-bru. I rarely post, but enjoy following the erudite discussions of those who are lucky enough to be more closely involved with the Iron than I am. One thing that this season has brought home to all of us, I think, is how vital our club is to our community. I might have lived in Denmark for over 35 years now, and seen just a handful of games at Glanford Park in the last 10 years, but my club helps me remain part of a community that is still an important part of my life.

But they are now! I think it’s only right that the play-off matches are part of the PL, even though I’m starting to worry that I can still lose my grasp on the title if SD 0101 and DORIS get a few 12-pointers…

Just wondering if we are predicting the score at 90 minutes or at the end of the game before any penalty competition?

No, can’t see it happening. But wouldn’t it be a glorious rest of the season if by some miracle it did? That would be a tale to tell for generations to come.

This really is wonderful news. I am sure there are many of us who will sleep better tonight than we did last night, secure in the knowledge (as long as we’re not counting our chickens too early) that our club is ours again. Great to have owners again who clearly care about the club.

Joined! Hard to believe, but I actually won the prediction league many many moons ago, and last season I was pleased to end up third from bottom, just out of the relegation spots.

Impressive second half. Loft was great and must start next time. Hippolyte my man of the match and it’s amazing how much more of a player he has become this season. Bunn impressed too. So there’s hope!

Season’s greetings and best wishes to all. I rarely post here, mainly because I usually have little to add to your (mainly 😊) intelligent and insightful comments, but I enjoy reading what you all have to say. The last few seasons have been tough ones for all of us. Sometimes the only hope or comfort I could find has been knowing that I’m not the only one who feels as badly as I do when our club stumbles from one low to the next.

Just wondering if I am the only one having problems making predictions? The last couple of times I have been able to see the games to predict but there’s been no box to add my predictions. Have tried on Chrome, Firefox and Edge! (And I’m not just trying to make an excuse for languishing near the bottom of the table!)

Still a long way to go, and I’m uneasy about gifting so much possession to the opposition, and their wide players were getting far too many crosses into the box, but I am definitely feeling more cheerful about our prospects for the season. Good to see Cox blooding the youngsters (okay, he didn’t have much choice) and good to see us actually creating a few chances. I don’t think it was a penalty, but we suffered a few dodgy penalties against us last season, so we were due a bit of luck. Let’s hope that win kick-starts our season now!

I am unable to make my predictions for tomorrow evening. The predictions page seems to be playing up. Anybody else having problems? Thought I’d try it in Firefox, but that doesn’t help.

Can’t find settings – can anybody help? All I have is stadium noise, no commentary. Otherwise for away matches it always gives me the home commentary, ever since Covid restrictions stopped RH sending a commentator and expert summarizer to away matches.
