    From a Hartlepool Fan:

And now you’ve got Micky Nelson as assistant manager.
Good luck with that,he’s absolutely useless.

    Hoovers are Class 50 locomotives

And you can put the manager and most the squad in a Class 67!

So interviewers who dare question his future are ‘disrespectful’? What does he expect after so many terrible performances and results? Blame anyone but yourself Hill. Wow, how to kick the players when they’re down – tell them they’re suffering from a lack of confidence. I bet a lot of them have other ideas why it’s all going wrong

Wonder if he will go full Holloway v Tondeur on Ollie Turner one day. Good to hear we have someone asking the questions, nobody else does.

Fold, but Turnbull and Moody convinced enough daft sods to buy Season Tickets so we will limp along for a year or two yet.

To all you disgruntled fans out there I’ll say something when there is something to say. At the moment I have nothing to say.

    He’s used that one before?

I’ve been looking at the crowds the last couple of years to get an idea of what the Fans think, but if there are freebies being dished out again(or was that just to make us look good on BT?)that will distort it.

Something’s got to give in terms of result, doubt it will be today.

ironlion, Neil Wright is there as part of the board as nothing more than a token gesture. Neil has little no power at all within it. I pressed him again the other day and his response was

“I’m afraid he’s his own man, when there is something to report it will be reported by the Club”

Neil also told me two weeks ago there was due to be a meeting which never came to fruition and told me it would be mentioned in this months board meeting and again nothing.

The response above was sent to me after mentioned this months board meeting. I did think he was well informed but the more I’ve spoken to him I’m of the impression he’s kept at arms length, he is what he is, a normal fan who probably get’s to go to unimportant board meetings.

You really think Swann is going to tell him anything ?

Ironlion, if Neil came out and said anything even slightly out of line regarding the club he will be out on his ear. In my opinion he’s not been put on there as a true voice for the fans. As mentioned above he’s nothing more than a token gesture, it was part of the club’s clap trap in this brave new start bullshit, he was put there because it looked and sounded good.

Sorry but it’s true. If your expecting him to come out and be the voice for all fans and start opening his mouth, he’ll be dropped quicker than workaholic prostitutes panties.

The SULSESC crowd have acted like they infulence what SUFC do for as long as i can remember, then when Swann took his my way or the highway approach they went off in a strop. Now they have their man on the board(Unelected)they’re being held to account and… nothing. Just a few short statements.

Was the Club Blazer really worth it?

Like the floors in a derelict building – we keep falling through them and thinking the next one will hold us, only for it to give way and down we go again.

York City were like that, before they sorted themselves out and finally got themselves out of the clutches of… a property developer.

New Concession prices announced. Shamlessly chasing the Khaki Pound.

Following the introduction of a Key Worker rate and a special pricing structure for supporters claiming benefits, the club are now outlining the finer details of our special rates.

Here at Scunthorpe United, we want football to be accessible for all and understand that some supporters have to choose between putting food on the table, the heating on in winter and purchasing clothes for their children which ultimately results in other things falling by the wayside.

Iron COO Lee Turnbull began the season by offering three family tickets to the opening three games for people who unfortunately find themselves on benefits or are struggling at the moment during the current financial climate. One of those supporters taking advantage of the offer, Harry, recently commented: “While the cost-of-living increases, the tickets from Scunthorpe United have helped keep my son’s favourite day out and not have to cut back on other things. He suffers from ASD and watching football is the highlight of his week.

“SUFC is a real family club and the stewards in the Family Zone alway say hi to Archie. The club was even gracious enough to let us pick the seats we always book. Thank again and up the Iron!”

We also understand that the nature of a Key Workers’ shift pattern renders a season ticket sometimes unworthy. Additionally, the club want to support and celebrate the work that goes on in these industries, not only during the pandemic, but on a day-by-day basis as well. A number of companies offer discounts to Key Workers, especially through the Blue Light Card, so why should the Iron be different?!

Supporters can take advantage of the concessionary rate for themselves if they fall under either of the categories on production of valid evidence to the ticket office. These rates will be available for every home league game of the 2022-23 season on a match-by-match basis.

These offers are available in-store and over the phone only and are not currently available online. Once any documentation has been provided to our ticket office staff, this will be noted on your account for the 2022-23 season, meaning you won’t have to produce this again to take advantage of the rates.

For further queries, please contact the ticket office by emailing sufctickets@scunthorpe-united.co.uk or by calling 01724 747670.
