Heworth is by a road junction, there’s nothing there. Gateshead or even Newcastle nearest, there used to be a pub at Felling Station but don’t know if it is still open.

The metro is not running for months due to track doubling in the area
Sods law.
Looks like buses from Heworth to Bede(Nearest Metro Stop) if you’re on Public Transport. takes half an hour it says, so not much different to the normal Metro.
Happy clapper head on – Still unbeaten.
He’s given out a fair few freebies today, looking at the size of the crowd.
I read the local Worcester paper yesterday about this. interesting in terms of a potiental takeover

And then i found this from a few days ago on Twitter
Scunthorpe United parent company Coolsilk Property & Investment Limited have satisfied a charge at #companieshouse #SUFC #ScunthorpeUnited @SUFCOfficial

Shows how far we have fallen when we’re happy with this.
Bru bought into it though.

Why are our fans expecting we’ll beat South Shields? Jesus.
Boston if they win tommorow, Peterborough Sports or Kings Lynn (A)
Not being funny but I didn’t spend money on a season ticket to see one of our best players leave not even halfway through the season to a club a few places above.
Absolute shambles.
Some of us did try to warn you.
This Website encouraged everyone to buy Season Tickets.
When the Nuttall story broke, the Twitter account was more interested in slating fans.
Comical.
Now we aren’t a football league club anymore get rid of this “pay on the day” rubbish. might make a bit extra money.
You can pay on the day but it costs more which, frankly, I think is daft.
The story you mention was someone trying to get in 10 minutes after kick-off.
Should have added the word “More” in my post… attract the casual fan.

There was a post on here saying someone turned up at one of the games last minute and wanted to pay in, but was turned away.

The prematch meal of Goat Madras & Barnsley Bitter has revived our form.
Was in town the other day and see Wilsons chippy has reopened. Seekh Kebab wrap and chips was my pre match meal for years, followed by a pint at the Berkeley(Changed to Class 6 when it shut).
I thought we were getting Tony Pulis as manager with the thread title.
We always seem to need about 11 Midfielders. Back to when the likes of Richard Hinds and Ian Morris couldn’t get in the first team.
Seem to be dipping ever further into the Mortgage money, though.
In what way would it be a dilemma? A decade since he was last involved with them in any capacity.
Hope Worksop beat them, well backed and no pushovers.
Easily pleased
A 3,500 crowd(with 1200 away fans and 400 free tickets given out), and a point. All hail the Coffee Club, we’re on our way back to the Championship.
2-2 guess who?
Yeooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
This
Yeooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
From Ollie Turner.. 1 away win in 47, 9 straight away defeats. 7 Straight losses at it stands.

1-0 Alty
Not much else to say
I don’t think we will go in to Administration.
I think long term, it’ll either be sold or dissolved. We couldn’t afford Administration to be honest. in the NLN next season the football operation will probably be wound up and then the Vultures will pounce.
Support from council could mean planning, land covenants, would not suggest for one minute we would get those millions of levelling up funds that have served us so well so far
Grimsby’s new owner thinks Levelling up money will pay for a new ground for them, good luck with that!
Having a North/South divide would alienate our southern supporters NI.
They’ve not exactly been turning out for the away games down there, have they.

My guess is that it will be announced in about February that the club cannot carry on the way it presently is, which is losing money each week, and with supporters not turning out and supporting the football club, the owner has nop other choice but to liquidate SUFC, and that he has done all that he possibly can do, but support has dropped off and that he cannot keep putting cash into the club in order to keep it going. So the blame will be placed on supporters which is typical of Swann.
His company which is in fact Swanns, will then own all the land package down at GP.
This is probably the fault of the Scunny supporters that have done nothing to nforce any information and just accepted and let things ride, which has seen our club drop from the League 1 play off position, to League 2 relegation, and to the BOTTOM PLACE in the National League in five years, some will say “what could we have done”, well you could have boycotted a couple of home matches and protested for one thing, instead of turning up at GP for every home match and either sat or stood there booing the team after conceeding another soft goal, and at half / full time after defeat and defeat every game.
The Warning signs were there a couple of years ago, Max Bell(For all his faults) mentioned it in the SET (Remember them?), But the Coffee Club denied it all, said things would work out, all and sundry would be holidaying in Blackpool during the summer and United would be quids in.
Well how did that go…

If it is dead in the water why was he asked to mention it tonight.
Ollie Turner doing his job and doing what the Fans asked him to do, Fair Play. And Coxy for going back to try and help the club out.
Is that the real attendance or a made up one?
As long as the Coffee Club takes place every other week, we could be in the Lincs League for some.

A bit of pot calling the kettle CMC but you don’t seem to have improved since he left.
Let’s hope we can turn it around enough to stay in the National League so we can play you again next season.
Erm.. i’m a Scunny Fan
