LoftKev loves an Oldham fixture so wouldn’t be surprised if he comes on and scores!
Bizarre signing
Clarke
Rowe
Mcgahey
Hornshaw at a push.Need to get out of the habit of bloating the squad unnecessarily.
Good piece of business.
Surprised nobody has been in for McAtee.
Can’t tell if there’s a touch of sarcasm there Les
Nice dilemma for Cox to have when Mcghaey Is back fully fit.
Cant see how you can drop Taft after recent performances though, he’s doing great and an actually a loan signing who adds something to the team.
Begs the question why have Bolton let him go?
Brilliant result but I have to make one comment meant to be constructive not negative.
We had 80 minutes against a GK making his league debut and he didn’t have to make a save.He made a right mess of that simple cross to collect from Loft. Wouldn’t have harmed having a few Long range efforts at him

Any scout worth his salt will be keeping tabs on him from now on. Some superb performances and I still don’t think he is 100% fit.
The Recruitment team have taken a rightful bashing this year but Manny has been some find.
Yep. Fantastic week and full credit to Cox and the players. We might not be the attacking outfit he promised but the organisation, fitness and sheer graft is there for all to see.

Happy with the first half.
Want to see us test this young keeper though.
Both sides will have played 3 games in 6 games so That excuse is nullified. We have big squad so smart rotation is key.
They’re in poor form and were fortunate to take the 3 points at GP- want to see Cox set up for the win.
That challenge would have made Jim Goodwin wince. Loved everything about it though.
Spence has been a good signing but Karacan clearly has that intelligence and quality which is not accustomed to league 2, has to be first name on the team sheet.
Good point on the pass too Sanfran- a fantastic assist.
People need to remember he is fighting for his job and more importantly we are fighting for our league status which 2 games ago we all thought was severely under threat.
If he continued to allow them to pump balls in the box and we conceded 2 he’d have been crucified for not altering it.
Don’t want to see it most games but the result was all important tonight.
Massive win.
Actually thought it was good game management from Cox, completely stifled their wingers when we went to 5 at the back. Would prefer we attacked them more during the 2nd half but the result was all that mattered tonight and has put daylight between ourselves and the bottom 2.
Superb display from Loft- the first goal was really taken and I want to see him
Bullying defenders like that more. Both centre backs were excellent, I’d be surprised if we keep Manny for more than 2 years
full backs were a little too exposed for my liking but it’s another game under their belts and they’ll only get better.
Howard looked assured- commanding his area with more authority now which I guess you can only credit Muzzy for.
Green needs more game time as I suspect he’s the answer when Eisa goes, just needs to improve that final ball but he’s got pace to burn. Gillead and Spence solid if not spectacular and Karacan put in a very clever performance, winning us free kicks and always being in the right position.
Loft deserves to be judged with 2 up front.
He’s not doing bad so far!
Mcatee>Eisa
Rowe>ClarkePossibly Spence for beestin/Karacan just to rest one of them before Friday’s game.
There’s plenty wrong at the moment but this A flimsy stick to beat Swann with.

Is that the same Pollock that is being watched by Prem. clubs?
Must be the Same scout watching Bedeau

Reassuring to see Howard dominating his 18 yard box and collecting crosses. Simple, but takes pressure off the centre backs.
Thought Gillead was fantastic at points today too- stone wall penalty for me after he tied pollock in knots.
No reason why Eisa shouldn’t be starting up front now until KVV is back. Look so much more balanced with 2 up front and gives Loft much needed support.
Well done Cox
Well done the players.
They wanted that today. On a side note: what a job Hurst has got on his hands, they somehow look worse than us and didn’t seem bothered today
Wasn’t expecting anything pretty but we’ll take that all day long.
Going to get more chances 2nd half and need to be clinical
Howard
Clarke onarisie Taft o malley
Gillead Karacan beestin hippoylte
Eisa Green
Isn’t Mcatee fit?
I’m sure he played a couple of games as striker last year and was actually billed as a striker when he came ?
I certainly can’t see him and Green doing any worse than the others this year and their pace would cause Grimsby problems.
Expect to see Eisa left up top on his own though and is fall to another 1-0 defeat
The whole interview was disheartening and was the first time I’ve felt more worried than reassured after listening to
Swann.I commented before That I wanted accountability, all we got was excuses and feeble ones at that: poor pitches? Do me a favour.
As for people criticising the questions: I’ve been to numerous fan’s forums over the years where we all have the opportunity to give Swann what for and instead we get questions about penalty taking the ticketing system. Easier to be Jeremy Paxman sat behind a keyboard.
The more rigorous interviewing should be coming from the telegraph and Humberside
I do, therefore, remain 100% in support of the club and the owner. He needs to learn from past mistakes and do everything possible not to repeat them.
I share a similar sentiment to the majority of your post, however where we
Differ is the above quotation. You can’t learn from mistakes when you hold no accountability and search for exterior motives for what’s going wrong.
For example: tonight’s podcast I expect
Blame to be shifted on Covid in some
Degree or any suitable reason that fits.I have worried about the financial side of the club for ages, we own the ground and the land, but in fact the club probably owes Mr Sqann more than their value, and with the playing squad being worthless, the club is actually bankrupt at the very best.
That’s the case with most clubs in the football league. Although some don’t have the privilege of owning the ground.
O’Malley should be starting ahead of Hippolyte, even as a winger
January 17, 2021 at 11:33 am in reply to: At what point do we consider the manager is the problem? #201135I want Cox to succeed and believe he has been dealt a bad hand by the chairman, Covid, and injuries.
However, the Grimsby game is a must win.
Change the formation, start on the front foot and take the game to an equally as poor side.Unfortunately Failure to win and a change will need to happen.
Why have we signed so many players? (Especially during Covid)
Who do we blame for so many being sub-standard?
What is the transfer policy?
Is there a contingency for the club in non-league?
This is a fucking embarrassment.
Sleepwalking into non league and no one gives a shit -
