Are the FA not interested in this ‘potential’ situation?
“On 18 June 2024, Gibson stepped up a level to join National League North club Hereford.[34]
On 9 September 2024, it was announced that Gibson had signed for Northern Premier League club Matlock Town for an undisclosed fee, with work commitments cited as the reason for his sudden departure for Hereford”Players stepping down a division? Has a familiar ring to it. For ‘work commitments’ read ‘more money’ possibly?
It’s not “garbage” it’s an opinion. They are allowed on a forum, you don’t have to agree.

Passing and decision making can be poor at times, however, we need to remember that the players are regional football standard. If they were better, they’d be playing higher up the football pyramid
Some, far too much, of our passing was pub league standard. I could accept NLN standard as a minimum, don’t forget some of these players have played above NLN.

Warrington should have lost – but didn’t deserve to.1 user thanked author for this post.
I think the final score could depend on how soon we score the first goal (If we do)
An early first could open the floodgates or we could be frustrated for long periods and have to be content with a scruffy 1-0.3 users thanked author for this post.
Dean isn’t a crap manager he was just the wrong manager for the job Hilton brought him in for.
Some would say that Dean was not brought in by Hilton to be a success but rather another outcome. I have no comment or knowledge regarding that.
For those of us not yet in the 21st century, what is an “ick” please?
Interesting possibility, Bet 365? That would make it possible to break their attendance record.
“In 1996–97 they reached the first round of the FA Cup for the first time, losing 2–0 at home to Notts County in front of a record crowd of 3,948 in a match played at Stoke City’s Victoria Ground.”I agree, Bill Shankley wouldn’t.

An unexpected bit of class and honesty from Brown in his post match interview. That’s how you deal with getting beaten by a better team Mr Dickman (how apt that name).
Agree 100% having just listened to this, very balanced review by PB and full credit to him for that.
Magnificent result and decent performance especially 2nd half.

Passing practice for all. Kiddy’s pass success rate must have been twice ours. Hardly wasted a ball whereas we gave it away too cheaply too often.
Shooting practice for Carlton and a couple of others. Situations where hitting the target is a minimum requirement.
How was Whitehall not MOM – superb performance.10 users thanked author for this post.
Kiddy showing the game in their pub, bound to attract plenty on a Friday night that might have travelled on a Saturday.
In Kiddy’s position you’d think they’d be happy with a point.
Will they try for 3?
If they set up for a draw can we find a way to win?
Will we try to win or try to not lose?
So many questions, answers after 9.30 tomorrow, the anticipation is almost unbearable. C’mon Iron!!1 user thanked author for this post.
Does this system show the player who runs about a lot but doesn’t quite get where he should be ? !
Is Wayne Graves still playing?

90 points by early March and promoted before Easter, yes please.
Now at a level more suited to his ability. The players will surely respect a manager that has worked at a higher level, lack of respect was part of the problem here IMO.

An invitation to complacency if the players see that?
Just read the match report from their OWS, they’re not giving us much credit either.
“The first goal of the afternoon came when Michael Kelly pinged his long-ranger into the box with fine precision. After it came off Ubaezuonu and, later, Danny Whitehall, North East native Roberts was there to volley it in. Although Shields put up a good fight, the game was put beyond any doubt shortly before the final whistle. Kelly whipped another cross into the box, and just like the first it came off Whitehall before it found Beestin who only needed to head it home.”“Came off Whitehall” !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
1. Whitehall’s shot hit the post.
2. Whitehall headed the ball back across perfectly for Beestin.
Whoever wrote that is as deluded as the manager. After watching that it’s good to know that:-
We have easily beaten the best footballing team in the league.
South Shields have absolutely no interest in slowing the game down if they are in front. (yeah right!!)
Some managers cannot accept blame.1 user thanked author for this post.
I know we’re not short of MFs but I was impressed by Middlemas for SS. Checked him out and he’s on loan from Sunderland until 22nd September. Wouldn’t mind having him for the rest of the season.

Excellent result, decent performance, very disciplined, very energetic out of possession. Agree with AWG, Carlton could/should have had three and a couple of other good chances missed. Would have made watching much more enjoyable bearing in mind what happened on Saturday.
I thought Norman Collier had left us. No homework at all by the commentator, was it Vitamins in goal and Kahn at CB, I’d also have stuck with Carlton. Scales will be disappointed when he finds out he didn’t score.
You’ll ever see EFL football at GP again in your lifetime.
Sporting my pedants cap then nobody will see any football at GP again, get up to date Rene!!

Are you Kier Starmer in disguise Cass.
No, just somebody that lives in the real world. (Unlike most politicians)
A performance in the Jimmy Dean style. Are we certain he’s gone?
