Stable door is shut but the horses have bolted, possible some of the donkeys still remain.
This bit from the above would seem to rule him out don’t you think?
“I’m looking for, if the opportunity comes up, somewhere that’s a little bit stable.”
Well done Mully, look forward to seeing you back home.
If the Everton link is smoke & mirrors, could it be Songo’o? Covers CM and CB so would be good value.
Shane Duffy
If only!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Couldn’t agree more with NI, can’t ‘Thank’ or ‘Like’ but I could have written the same thing. Spot on.
Whoever loses the NL play-off final?
Have the Saudis made a late switch from their Geordie target?
If your avatar is accurate you look like a fit young fella. Spare a thought for those of us with a more rounded outline.
Nice analogy – but Godden, Goode & Sutton had more than one ‘wearing’ and showed they were more Burtons than Armani.
Have the builders arrived?
Still think he’ll struggle in L1 and has no hope in the Championship. Just one experts opinion of course.
” if I indeed choose to.” that’s the key for me – a choice.
” it does seem the type of options used by other clubs has been received reasonably well by sections of their fanbases as has the Scunny option by some TBF” – but the ‘Scunny option’ wasn’t an option, it was an imposition. He’ll have more interest in getting the fans in the ground than Russ. Not sure how the players would respond to his management style though.
There’s only room for one dominating figure at the SVS!
An international footballer on a free transfer? Big difference of opinion as to his talent there!
I renewed my season ticket for the terracing about a month ago now so they must have some plan for it.
[/quote]Keeping Russ as manager is the plan, there’ll be plenty of room.
1.A team with no CMs would be a massive risk.
2.Still no genuine central striker, the front 6 are either wide players or No 10s.
3 Some of that 11 are clearly not good enough.
4.Apart from Dales & Beestin would anybody on the bench have started a league game?
The chairmans target of 5 in is certainly needed.Potentially a massive boost for the wealthy clubs, almost as if Bolton knew this was going to happen – surely not.
Might help us shift Colclough if we act quickly, somebody phone his agent today with Boltons number.I agree with him, sadly I don’t think that job is football manager.
Hope so, doesn’t fit the “young, up & coming” profile but some experience needed.
You’re excluding The Iron from that generalisation of course?
Agree with both above, don’t like black strips at all but the 3rd looks good and needs a promotion.
Don’t get too excited about the signings barton. The chairman has said we’re looking to sign 5 and Russ will have said he wants 3 FBs and 2 CBs to shore up the defence.
