Sorry about thspelling error, “don’t know WHY”.
Your absolutely right Wondergoals. If Beeston is on the bench he must be fit to play. He should have been first choice over Perry or Pugh yesterday. Beeston has always given 100 per cent when he has played. Then not to even bring him on as sub I cannot understand. I also was looking forward to Perry returning but he cannot play him on Tuesday after that performance. The worst thing about him is he thinks it’s OK to stand with the ball far too long and let the opposition take it from him, he did that again yesterday. Also we all know that Beeston has a good shot in him and is very competitive. Can’t understand why he’s noy playing. Then Wood was brought on before him and I don’t know shy we haven’t sent Wood back to Hull.

That’s a good question Bishops Finger regarding transfer of assets and funding. Could Swann have transferred the ground and assets to Coolsilk so as to use it for security for building his housing and apartments?
Swann said he would pay off the loan if necessary.
What happens when someone borrows money is they have to repay it. Swann, after saying at a season ticket holders meeting, he would pay off the loan is now saying the opposite and can’t afford to pay it back. What would happen if this were the bank or building society and you couldn’t pay back a loan is that you would be re-possessed. So when this loan is called in I’m guessing the club will be put into administration. Is this why Swann is biding his time and he will walk away with the stadium, assets and land. He says he now he wants more investment and hints he would sell. Is this just another lie though. If not SWANN PUT THE CLUB UP FOR SALE AND SEE WHAT RESPONSE WE GET. SWANN GET GONE!!!!!!
Swann has resorted to PR stunts now in desperation to keep the fans off his back. He brings in Simon Elliott, making up with the Scunthorpe Telegraph, asking for fans to vote on next seasons shirt, inviting Paul Hayes to today’s match. Its all smoke and mirrors, in desperation from a complete and utter clueless clown to try and deflect any criticism from himself before today’s home match. His statements are embarrassing. When he says we can’t afford to pay the loan off who is the we. What he means is he is unwilling to pay the loan off znd would rather see us drop out of the football league. SWANN GET GONE!!!!!!!!

Porkys are being told by both and it seems to me uti99 is on the payroll.

It’s actions that are needed not stupid statements about not putting the club in jeopardy by overspending. HES ALREADY DONE THAT!!!!!!!

Just the same old statements and no action regarding paying off the loan, which is what is desperately needed. Always trying to shift the blame and looks like he’s starting to hint at shifting some of it onto Keith Hill.

So who is the Club Uti99? SWANN and his family of course. No-one else has a say, the SWANNS are the boardroom. So Cassidytash is one hundred per cent right. THE SWANNS SHOULD PAY OFF THE EFL LOAN. AND GIVE THE STADIUM AND ASSETS BACK TO THE CLUB. PLEASE SWANN PUT THE CLUB OFFICIALLY UP FOR SALE and let’s see who is interested, as its obvious you don’t want to be here.
Swann talks about Scunthorpe United as if we are purely just a business, a shop or a building. I feel he has now backed himself into a corner and is trying to squirm his way out of the situation he has created, by diversion. Why bring Simon Elliott in now, why try and build bridges with the Telegraph now, why announce the kits for next season now, why is he wanting more investors now as its always been a closed shop. I feel as well after reading his statement that it won’t be too long before he begins laying the blame at Keith Hill’s door. Swann hasn’t done anything for the fans before, when we attended the first match this season fans couldn’t even sit on their seats until they had cleaned them as they were utterly filthy, we didnt even have a stadium manager, no matchday programme and now no scoreboard, and some of the toilets were unusable. Is this what he calls breaking even???????
Look at all the seasons when Steve Wharton was Chairman. We didn’t break even, but ran at a manageable loss. That is a huge difference when managing a football league club. He didn’t overspend like this l n t c has done. Wharton and the then directors knew what they were doing. But he soon got them off the board when he took over. This bloke couldn’t even manage a chimps tea party.
C’mon then UTI99 you seem to know everything, how much is the efl loan?
Just read Swanns latest statement. Not to put the club in jeopardy by overspending. Does he think what he says before making such a ridiculous statement or is he living in cloud cuckoo land. HES ALREADY GONE AND DONE IT.

Oh yes UTI99 sound business strategy alright!!!!! Has this been the strategy from day 1. I’ll take over the club, I’ll run the stadium into the ground, I’ll tell loads of lies, I’ll overspend BIG, I’ll take the stadium and assets and transfer it to my company, I’ll take out a loan and refuse to pay it back. THEN SUFC WILL DROP OUT OF THE FOOTBALL LEAGUE. Hey I can’t lose can I because then i can walk away with the land and the stadium. Has all this really happened to our Club. Gary Neville has got it 100% right.
Wasn’t Rathbone a Grimsby Town player, were they fighting on the pitch.
I have great respect for Simon Elliott and I am sure so do many Scunthorpe United fans, but if Swanns idea has been to bring Simon in to gain better relationships with supporters then it is a lost cause as I cannot see Swann changing his perspective on anything he does.

SWANNS words “pay the loan off if necessary”. It’s looking very bleak at this time for our league status, and looks as if swann is not going to pay off the loan. By his words “IF NECESSARY”, so obviously he doesn’t think it necessary to try and keep Scunthorpe United in the football league. Actions speak much louder than empty words. So he has proved what his intentions are by his own worthless statement.
That’s a joke saying the club put the news out! And as for the tweets, mainly just advertising and trying to get fans to part with their hard earned cash and then fans treated as morons and getting nothing in return. SWANN TELLS THE SUPPORTERS AS LITTLE AS POSSIBLE ABOUT CLUB MATTERS. Catering prices increased and told you can’t take you own drinks into the ground, no matchday programme, no scoreboard, toilets not fit for use, Swann then blaming the fans for his own bad decision making and bad player recruitment. I could go on and on. SWANN has certainly gone very quiet now, I guess he’s struggling to shift the blame onto someone else now for our present situation as the blame lies squarely on his shoulders and no-one else’s.
Never mind the telegraph ban at least Max Bell is speaking the truth. Why ban the telegraph anyway. They always gave a good report on Scunthorpe United previously under Bob Steeles. Bob spoke on Humberside several months ago and was very frank and honest and predicted our present situation if nothing changed. But the SWANN is the person who wants to take people to court if he disagrees with them, bans the press and falls out with North Lincs Council if he doesn’t get just what he wants when he wants it.

When SWANN took over our Club he made it clear to the existing directors that they would have to put more money in or leave if I remember correctly, so this left just his boardroom family and Rodwell. He didn’t want any other directors on the board who could have opinions that would matter to the future of Scunthorpe United and could change his plans. So this is where we are leaving just SWANN to decide whether any attempt is made to try and keep us in the Football League or are relegated. It feels like a lamb to the SLAUGHTER!!!!

Time is fast running out for SWANN to save any respect and credibility which he has left. Supporters have very little if any left for him now anyway. He is proving by his inaction that he has no respect for Scunthorpe United FC and our supporters.
1 user thanked author for this post.
Does SWANN still think it’s NOT NECESSARY to pay the EFL loan off then. He must do otherwise is it another lie to be added? Is he still believing what he said that we are good enough to stay up with this squad of players?
SWANNS words were we won’t go out of the football league, we’re good enough to stay up, and when asked said the loan would be paid off IF NECESSARY.

Don’t know. But went to a season ticket holders forum recently. Just the same SWANN talking in riddles and not acknowledging reality or the truth. Supporters just been fed the usual rubbish.
1 user thanked author for this post.
All SWANN does is duck and dive the truth and then blame the supporters for his actions and inactions.
1 user thanked author for this post.
POSITIVE! there’s nothing positive about SWANN.
1 user thanked author for this post.
What is there to be positive about our Scunthorpe United Football League Club when the majority of fans think this is the season we drop out of the Football League after 70 odd years membership.

It’s just my opinion but the poll is much earlier this season. Then he’ll be after your money to pre-order shirts. It’s the same with us season ticket holders, he keeps bringing the renewal dates further forward every season. BUT THEN HE SAYS WHY SHOULD HE PUT ANY MORE OF HIS MONEY INTO SCUNTHORPE UNITED!!!!!!
