A. Blundell Park
B. Scunsby United or Iron Fish Academicals. We’re not in National League North yet NI…
A few Francs wasted there Renee!
Having a North/South divide would alienate our southern supporters NI.
Correct mick.
Exeter because we were given the points because they couldn’t raise a team, and Maidstone first game of the season when they dropped out the league.
Correct mick and I made the same mistake with Exeter. Sorry.
7/1 with bet365…
Even more sobering is that the following clubs are still non league:
Halifax 20 seasons and counting, Kidderminster 17, Boston United 15
Wrexham 14, Darlington 12, Stockport County 11, Aldershot Town 9, Torquay United 8, Dagenham and! Redbridge 6, York City 6, Chesterfield 4, Barnet 4, Yeovil 3, Notts County 3, Southend 1 and Grimsby 1and the following clubs went out of business:
Maidstone United
Scarborough
Rushden & Diamonds
Chester City
Hereford United
Macclesfield
BuryChampions of Lincolnshire! The rest including Grimsby, Gainsborough, Lincoln and Boston can never sing that! :-)
Next season?
So it was all an April Fool’s joke after all and we all fell for it. I wonder what he’s planning for next April?

Is Mr Wharton coming back in some form or another?
Ironfan got that one ten days ago Bobby!
Oh heck, so he did. My sincerest apologies ironfan, good job you’re on the ball N.I. Time to hang my trivia boots up for a while (in reality I’ve run out of questions).

The correct answer is the Southend Stadium. Southend only played at New Writtle Street Stadium (Chelmsford) during the war mick.
Me in the shower with Pammy, now there’s a dream scenario…

Merdre noir…
You’ve missed out the cheating Spireites in 2001…
The ground in question staged League football from 1933 to 1955 but it’s primary use was as a greyhound stadium. Little does she know…
Or not…
There seems to be a discrepancy here. Are they stewards or are they security personnel?
‘where do we go from here apart from downwards at an alarming rate I fear’
Edging close to Haircut 100 there I-A. Pack it in! 😆
We could do with plus one at the start of the game…

One to go and it’s probably the most obscure…
I’ve had to dig deep for this but I’ve double checked and in our 71 years as a league club, today is the first time we’ve conceded five goals in the first half!!
Revenge on Saturday…
Expect nothing from Swann…he can’t even be bothered to fix the scoreboard in the ground he owns!
#SwannOut
There’ll be a giant video screen in the new stadium…
The Old Recreation Ground, Port Vale
Good guess ironic, Port Vale played their last game there in the 1949-50 season! Supplementary trivia, Port Vale have spent the most seasons in the league (110) and the most seasons in the second tier (41) without reaching the first tier.
I will take a wild guess Bobby, Maidstone United, when they got promoted to the Football League didn’t they ground share with Dartford so never played any of their games at their ground in Maidstone and when they dissolved the ground was sold for development, since they reformed they now have a new stadium.
Maidstone played all their league games at Watling Street, Dartford mick. We played there 3 times including an ignominious 6-1 defeat!
