I hate it when keepers do this but he freely admitted afterwards that he would do anything possible to put the taker off. Up to the officials to clamp down on it but they never do. If I was the taker and the keeper used underhand tactics I would walk back to the centre circle and recompose myself. Obviously this may not work as a) it may not be in the rules and b) the damage may already have been done. On a note of high improbability, if the keeper is booked twice, who goes in goal?
I’m glad that thug that assaulted Sharp got a 2 year sentence.
Unfortunately it was only six months, he was clever and pleaded guilty.
The man who made the pies at Kidderminster died 18 months ago and the club ended the partnership with the caterers at the beginning of the season so they don’t have the glorious pies anymore.
Good pie knowledge Mick!

Alcy posted this on the day we were relegated (see Renee’s stat post). So he has got a crystal ball!
Great stat Stella but it doesn’t ease my pain…

If Notts County get promoted, maybe they’ll let us have Kyle back?

So dust off your old footy boots – you might be needed!
Do they play walking football in tier 10?
The effect of money dominates and you need an astronomical amount of money to stabilise in the 2nd tier, which makes a dream like our 00s good run seem next to impossible now.
Thank you Mr Wharton for sharing your hobby with us…
I would give a limb for mid table obscurity next season right now!
Not one of your own though?
May 9, 2022 at 3:19 pm in reply to: National League – First Season (FS) places of relegated teams. #237046Probably more money in the National League than League Two?
Just a pity we couldn’t scrape two goals to end our 7(-)2 year stay in the Football League…

Respect to the Irons
Except you’re showing a lack of respect.

I see Northampton have lodged a complaint with the EFL and the FA.
They can complain all they like, it won’t get them anywhere. I hope the Stags stuff’em. Cry babies…

Codheads.
I wonder if Ernest is hurting as I am?
Of course he isn’t, it’s not in his blood…

I’m hoping the Codheads win the play offs, we’re in no fit state to be playing them next season!

Hooper was not fully fit so Jon Forte led the line that night. Nigel held a couple of players back then brought them in for the important games against Plymouth and ???.
I remember you moaning like mad about the team selection at the time NI. 😀
Beating Luton 8-1, my first game!

Do you know how much we’re hurting Mr Swann? Don’t bother answering, it was rhetorical. NO YOU DON’T.
