If there is interest (as Cox alluded to in August) then take whatever they are offering – he’s in the bracket of thinking he’s better than the club he’s playing for, looks like he can’t be arsed anymore

I think if it’s anything more than a couple of out of date hot dogs covered in mould and fluff, we should definitely snap their hands off!

Carlisle signed Howard on about seven games ago, six have been defeats.

Four out of their last seven have been clean sheets and Howard played in all of them.

So not as bad as you’d have us believe!

Howard had his limitations, but anybody serious suggesting that given the choice, they’d rather have Watson should seriously be questioning their sanity….

    GK –

CF – Loft, Dunnwald-Turan, Jarvis, Jessop

TBC – Hallam, McAtee, Pugh, Dawson, Gallimore, Wilson

Look forward to Cox putting his own stamp on the squad. UTI!

Never mind Cox’s stamp, looking at that forward line I’d rather have Darryn Stamp (Even now!)

The obvious answer is most certainly yes. I know he was dealt a shit hand, and he’s had an absolutely horrendous time with injuries (But which Scunny Manager over the last 20 years of so hasn’t had that part?!) However countless Managers across every Division has been sacked over the years while performing much, much better.
Unless the plan is to continually hope that each season there will be at least 2 teams that are somehow worse than us and we can keep escaping by the skin of our teeth (Which I’m sure we’d all agree is an extremely risky strategy!) Then he needs to go, and go now in order to give the new guy the best possible chance to make sure we don’t have another train wreck of a season like we’ve all just had to endure…
