11712 BS 😳 bloody hell they’ll be hanging bare arsed from the pylons to see it then. Awaywego will feel properly at home 😂
Sorry pal, that should have been 1,712 ha ha! it is an age and sight problem.
Sounds like a very good signing, he looks fit and very lively, is only 21 years of age and should be able to put away a few of the many chances that have been missed in the first few matches.
Enjoy it at Scunny Connor and all the very best son.
I cannot see why Scunny will not win this encounter, I will go for a 2-0 win.
The attendace will be 1,1,712.
HA
HAVE AN ENJOYABLE DAY OUT FANS !!!Have a good idea why the 1 o’clock kick off, Jimmy had to catch a flight to Paris to watch his daughter in a dancing competition hope he made it for her with all the plane disruption yesterday he left within 5 mins off full time. smiler did say to us the game wasn’t moved on police advice.
No problem there then awaywego, it is great to support your loved ones, I would have done the same, the one o’clock kick off certaily did mot effect the attendance figure!!!

Mr Evil. Which one is that?
jThat question is easily answered Ironironiron, just ask any of the 5 or 6,000 loyal supporters that have swallowed his constant lies for the past 8 or 10 years, or ask the question “WHO IS THE MOST HATED MAN IS NORTH LINCOLNSHIRE, that will give you the answer pal.

What a good day for the club and the fans, I only wish that I was fit enough to still attend, but I really enjoyed the game which was on the RH, and it was a real pleasure listening to the new commentator Cam Pope, he was really easy to listen to, amd it is the first time that I have heard him.
The Stadium sounded to be buzzing, it sounded to be a really enjoyable day out for our long suffering fans, a great result, a great attendance, and back at the top of the league, with most of the other results going our way, well done to all.
I am just hoping for a good outcome at tomorrows court case against Mr Evil, but are fearing the worst, for the sake of SUFC amd its loyal supporters, some one please rescue the towns long term loved asset.
BS it was on Humberside on Freeview 721 on your TV, kept dipping in and out due to some technical errors but it only deferred to the rugby when that happened. Probably lost no more than 5 minutes of the commentary over the 90. Scunny have been on Freeview for all their away games this season, always check it out in future.
Yes Iron-awe, it states that on RH, but I have tried a few times and never managed to get it, I really do not know how to get it pal. I will ask one of my lads to show me, but I still think that away games shoult be given preferance to the main two RH channels.
Well itdid not go to plan today, one thing that did go in our favour was that most of the top teams in the league also had poor afternoons, and as IA says we are still secobd in the league, with a chance of putting things right on Monday afternoon. F me, I was all set to listen the game on RH, but the sickener was that bloody Hull rugby game was on, even though they were playing at home and Scunny were away, I have always stated, AWAY MATCHES SHOULD BE GIVEN PRIORITY, because fans can turn out for home games, but who the hell in their right mind wants to listen to rugby anyway.
I am still sticking to my 1-1 prediction, and look forward to listening to the game on RH, it should be on one of the two RH channels with Hull City playing their match last night, that is of course if Hull Dockers do not have a game today ha ha!
SCORE 1-1

As you say Cliff, it is difficult to see how nScunny are not favourites to win this encounter having 3 wins and a draw, and although Curzen are also unbeaten, they have only recorded just 1 win out of their 4 matches.
I would forcast a 1-1 draw for this game, with Scunny possibly gaining a 1-0 win.
Just to add, it is great that Scunny have a very good goal keeper at long last, as we have had very poor keepers for six or so years, so well done who ever brought this young man to SUFC.
Well done once again, not the best performance, but with a 0-3 away win, we must still enjoy tge seasons start, top of the league and 10 points out of 12. The team appear to be working well together, so well done Jimmy Dean, who is getting results, and also giving the fans some wel loverdue enjoyment.
My 1-3 prediction was nearly correct, but do not know what the attendance wasm I had 1,714, but that could possibly be too high. So roll on the next game, it is a pity that RH do not cover away games when the three local teams are playing, it seems stupid like today, Grimsby on RH when they are at hjome.
Hope the fans enjoyed another win, and hope of no trouble at the match.
Should be a good day out for our fans, it might not be as easy as some are thinking, but we should come away with the three points. I am just hoping that the fans act in a responsible manner.
SCORE PREDICTION RUSHALL OLYMPIC 1 SCUNTHORPE 3
CROWD 1,714.
Goo luck and enjoy the game supporters.

August 17, 2023 at 11:39 pm in reply to: 09/08/23 – County Court Judgement – £1,547.00 – Case No. K5AA1W08 #269747To complete my posting, the coaching staff is far to big for a club in NLN, just a question, are Mussa and Daws still at the club?, because as far as I can see they are surely not needed, just my opimion, but if cut backs are to be made, they must be made in the right place. Another areais at the turnstiles, is there a need for a steward to stand outside of the entrance, and one standing on the inside, surely a waste of wages, and cut backs could be made there.
August 17, 2023 at 11:31 pm in reply to: 09/08/23 – County Court Judgement – £1,547.00 – Case No. K5AA1W08 #269745Just my oiopinion of the cut back im cliub staffing, after observing the match day strewards, there are only possibly 50% of them that actually do anything, yers there are good stewards amongst them, but half are never involved in anything, and just stand there like dummies. Regards the ticket office staff, there should be at least two girls and possibly thre working in there, only having one on duty just reswults in supporters being messed about qand this will result in them not bothering to attend. Groundsmen need to sorted out, because if the pitch is in bad condition after a handful of games. obviouse that there is no capable person running things. As far as I
I cannot see a problem with the number of Directors the club have, all that is possibly needed is a couple of more ladies in the ticket office, and possibly get rid of one of the coaches to cover this.
But with having an increase in Directors it will give a few another chance of moaning.
With a good board of directors, it will avoid another case where one man can run up a vast debt, with his wreckless spending and then transfer the debt to the club and transfer the clubs assets to himself, buy after saying that (the club have no assets left to steal).
Good luck to the owner and his boaed of directors, and the SUFC and its loyal supporters.
Please save the moans for the end of the month court case, you will probably have good reason for moans.

A very good result and performance from the lads, I had forcast a 3-0 win and possibly more.
But to haVE AN ATTENDANCE OF 3,392 on a Tuesday evening, following an home match on Saturday was a brilliant effort by the supporters, I thought it would be about 2,680, so well done you fans, and in full voice aswell. Now top of the League, so keep it up guys, and lets get back to where we should be, but for that to happen, this ownership mess must be sorted out very, very soon, our fans do not deserve grown so called men behaving like spoiled children.

Our easiest game so far for Scunny with a 3-0 win, and could have been a few more.
The gate will be 2,683, with Darlington bringing about 280 fans.

My prediction for this game is Scunthorpe 2 Peter’bro Sports 1
Gate 3,016the club is in a death spiral
i warned of this but nobody took any notice. i understand why as you all wanted to believe in the rainbows and butterflies of a happy ending but we are doomed an it breaks me heart to see sufc in such a shoddy state
today is a pivotal day in sufcs future and hillton has been found wanting .You are saying that “NO ONE TOOK ANY NOTICE OF YOUR WARNING”, that is a load of rubbish pal, I have warned of this for two years or more, Swann is going to make sure that he ruins SUFC, his hate of the club and it’s fans is so high on his gender, he has been trying for a few years to do this, that’s why the club has gone from League One into the second non-league that they are now in, he is evil.
It is also obvouse that the new owner does not had the funds available to purchace the club, or build a new stadium, I fear for the club and it’s supporters, it was a sad day when that Swann put his foot in GP, I fully hope I am wrong, but I can only see Hilton pulling out of SUFC and the end could be very near, I just hope that NLCC do everthing that they can to stop this evil Swann with his plans.
The present Scunny team that has been assembled must be clealy well fancied to really walk this league and make a start into their treck back into the football leage where they should be.
The team is putting the effort into their performances, the management and coachING team appear to have listened to the fans, and the club top management are also assebling a good team of directors, and have dumped the one man band disater operated for the past six or seven years.
I am just hoping that the Stadium problem that i still a big threat to the clubs chances does not spoil the present progress that is now being shown.
Good luck to SUFC and its fans, lets hope for enjoyable times to return to our loved club.

What a terrible situation the football club is in, there are less than a couple of weeks to go, and this is hanging over the club and it’s supporters, and the problem is, can anyone really believe what either of these two guys are telling us.
All this is happening, even though it was announced six months ago that Hilton had bought the club and the stadium, he even formed that 1899 club where fans could buy a 1/1,899 share to make them part owners of the Stadium, then later on it turned out that he had not bouhjy the ground.
So if the club have no right to play at GP, how the hell did they play Donny on Saturday, and are playing Hull City tonight ????.
Why the hell do the pair of them lie to the fans, at this late stage, if Hilton has an agreement, why the hell does he not settle the issue and produce it and get on with things, Swanns stand is because of his hatered of SUFC and its fans, he has made that so obvouse over the past four or five years.I cannt understand why, under Swanns full management of the club guided them into an 11 or 12 millon pound debt, then to steal the assets from the club because of the result of his own doing, but at the end of the day, it is the supporters that suffer and are paying their money, but with justeleven days before kick off they are on this forum guessing what they think will happen to their club.
I think is not unexpected really, Tony has been in charge of the youth team squas for naby years, and what players during these years has he ever brought any special players through???/.
What really shocks me is hoe the hell does Musser keep his job, being goal keeping coach over the years, we have had possibly the worst set of keepers in what ever leagues we have been playing in!!!!.
He should also be given his marching orders.
So are we all happy about our club being moved to another town?
No Ferrite, I would think thaT 99.9% of Scunny fans are feeling very sick over what goes on with their club, all this is down to two people. It was annouced many months ago that Hilton had bough tthe club and all its assets, he then presented supporters to buy into a new share system at £1,899 per share, then brought the earlybird seasons ticket deadline forward to before the end of this disasterous season, it then came to light that he did not even own the stadium and land, even though he had starteds selling the shares.
I hate Swann for what he has done to our club, but there is a lot of blame also to be directed at Hilton, it is so easy to tell the truth on happenings, but this has not been the case at Scunny for years. The supporters of SUFC do not deserve to be treated this way, whilst these two play their little games, why don’t they grow up and sort the bloody problem out. I doubt if more than 600 will travel to Gainsbro’ after the first couple of matches, the whole situation stinks.

I must agree with Northumbiron, the Forum has completely changed with the influx of new members, a lot of postings are members repeating themselves, or posting non interesting topics, that is my opinion and others may differ. It is the same with the football club, it used to be a pleasure to attend games, but over the past six years it got worse and worse, mainly due to very poor managers, coaches and players, Christ fans were lucky if they saw a shot on target during the 90 mins never mind a bloody goal.
I feel sure that many, many ex-members of the forum have left, and will never return.
Even the Prediction League reached a stage where tables and results where left being updated for weeks, and last day fixture availabillity was a killer for some, for a long time my three sons and myself were all members, but none of us miss it one bit. And lastly, is there any reason for the management of the club to treat its supporters how they have and are still doing???, it seems like a game to Swann and Hilton, why the hell don’t they take a moment and think that it is fans that have kept the club running for many years, but all we get now is continual fighting between the pair of the self centered clowns.I think that is high time for a stop be placed on the club offer of season tickets for the next season, Christ, the club have not even got a Stadium available, they do not know wher or even if they will be playing or not, how can they issue seat numbers etc??. The club has sadly been a real mess for six years now, but even though most supporters have stuck with them and endured this rubbish on the field, and off it, why has it been allowed to continue like this without some body stepped in and put an end to the situation. Our supporters do not deserve this pain.

Congratulations to Toney on winning. More importantly well done to everyone else for taking part and supporting SST in running this competion. Let’s all get involved again this coming season and even BartonS may return to the fold someone as to give Toney a run for his money.
Yes Barnard, never out of the top four during my six seasons, I really enjoyed it, and nice to keep Sanfran in check ha ha!!!!

Share a number of your thoughts in your post BS but this bit is a stretch;
‘he seems to hold a vendeter against the SUFC Fan base, and will do his utmost to plot against them,’
How about ‘he just wants the funds from the sale that was agreed’?
Possibly deerey, but as I say mate, at Scunthorpe we never ever get clear information, it is always a cryptic answer given to everything and it is never a straight answer is it!!!

I was hoping that my thought would be completely wrong when assuming that things would turn out to be ok for club and supporters, but we all knew really that it is never as simple as that at Scunny, and it’s fans have to continually put up with being kept in the dark with information along with the usual heep of lies and bull shit. We all knew, or should have known that nothing is simple when Swann is involved with things, and he seems to hold a vendeter against the SUFC Fan base, and will do his utmost to plot against them, but at the same time, we were informed some months ago, that the sale of the club was a done deal and that it was just a matter of signing the documentation at the end of May. That was also supported by the formation of the 1899 share issue, which was for supporters to buy a share into being the ownership of the GP Stadium, and after selling a number of these shares it now turns out that the Stadium is not even owned by Mr Hilton of the Football Club, the club supporters do not deserve treatment of this kind, and after being subjected to eight or nine years of either being starved of information or being spun a pack of lies over this period of time, they have been subjected to this shoddy treatment for far too long.
Get it sorted out Swann / Hilton, and give fans the truth for once, they deserve nothing less, and give the 50 odd fans their £1,899 back for selling them some thing that was not even the clubs for sale, and at the same time offer the 1,000 supporters that have bought season tickets for next season, thier money back simply because Swann will not allow Scunthorpe United toi play at his GP ground next season.1 user thanked author for this post.
