Well what a terrible bloody day, first of all watched England Cricket team get hammered once again, it was like watching a bunch of no hopers and resulted in getting thrashed by 230 runs. Then it was Scunny FC, who it was stated on RH, that they were outplayed, and many of the Scunny players did not appear to be trying and left it to others to do their work, resulted in a 2-0 defeat, my son was watching his team Derby on pay TV, who also lost 1-0 at Shrewsbury of all places. This was then followed by me watching the England RU team in the World Cup Semi, who really played their hearts out and led all the game up until two minutes from time when a long penalty resulted in them losing 17-16, my day had been really bad, but some great news at the end of the day when my Speedway team Scunthorpe Scorpions won the Championship KO Cup Final after a great 45-45 draw at holders Poole Pirats after beating them 47-43 in the fist leg. So my very poor day ended on a brilliant night, so well done the Scorps.

I am going for a result of Chester 1 Scunny 1, but I hope that we can get a win of any score, we must keep at the top end of this League, and gain automatic promotion this season. The team have got the players to do this, and certainly have a good following of fans both home and away, and also now have a supportive owner in charge of the club. Good luck, and lets get three points.

    To
generate a total sum of lets say a final payment of £3m and £2m up front by the end of Februaryis a very big job indeed. What do people think to the suggestion that Michelle and her board as well as the head of the Iron Trust exploring how much cash can be obtained from Grants, The NLCC, Businesses and Well off football lovers, and at the same time request supporters, football lovers, other football clubs and the Towns people of Scunthorpe and local area’s to submit their offers that they would like to donate £100 as a share holder of the Football Stadium and land.

No monies to be paid upfront for these £100 shares until it is known how much Michelle and her board can raise, and how much in these shares would be required tomake up the balance.

I feel that there would be a vase number that would help in this way, now that trhe club has been taken over by people that love the club, are are doers instead of the previouse two dreamers.

JUST A SUGGESTION FROM A LONG TERM SUPPORTER OF OUR CLUB THAT HAS HIT REALLY BAD TIMES OVER THE PAST SIX YEARS.

When you see pictures of young women and kids, yes and even babies being murdered or taken prisoners by these murdering evil human animals it makes you hate such evil trash.

I hope that Israel wipe the bastards off the earth, that does not mean blast all Palestinions, but I know it is difficult, but these Hamas murderers, who kill for their own enjoyment, kill the lot of them and have done with it.

My forcast of 2-0 was not correct, but I will gladly accept the 1-0 result the lads obtained, so well done team and management, and of course the 5,000 fans that turned up today, a very good effort by all.

I just hope that the Stadium problem can be sorted out very soon, and the new owner and directors are getting some very welcome resuls in the very short time since they took charge, I have never felt more comportable with the running of ASUFC for many years, and I am so glad to see that my thoughts of a stickey end have come so wrong, so keep up the good work all at the club andf of course on it’s terraces.

After a week when things are looking a lot better off the field, it would be great if the lads go extra hard in getting a result on Saturday, after last weeks set back against Buxton.

I am going for a result of SCUNTHORPE 2 BRACKLEY 0

    Attendance of 4,582

Good luck to the lads, and once again a big thank you Michelle and her helpers in getting the club back into the hands of people that love and care for the football club, a very big well done.

I am sure that all Scunthorpe United fans and the town people in general will join together in wishing and giving their full possible support in what ever way that they can in their support and thanks to Michelle
    for saving our football club.
Also a big thank you to people that have assisted Michelle in this take over, added to all persons that have clubed together in raising over £67,000 to help to pay the wages of unpaid SUFC staff, well done all of you and lets all hope that our loved club soon get back to where it belongs in the football league.

    UP THE IRON.

It is unreal how two evil bullshiting people can take our club into vertual extimction, one over a period of seven or eight years, and the latest arse hole in just nine months.

After supporting our club for 70 years, it all has to end like this, I just cannot see how SUFC can possibly come through this, not many of us forcast this ending, but with those two evil liar’s in charge of the club, it makes you wonder how they have been allowed to take the actions that have gone on, firstly arse hole Swann ran up a debt of £12 million with his own management skills, then transferred that debt to SUFC and took the Stadium and land and placed it into his company, then this latest arse hole (WHAMP) bought the club but did not have the money to pay for it and then dreamed that he could get 1,899 supporters to contribute £3 million (£1,899 each) to own a share in the Stadium.

Sadly these two evil arse holes have ended the football club and the pleasure of thousands of followers, I just hope that the pair of them come to the ending that they both deserve.

I am 82 years of age but really feel for the loyal fans and people that presently follow our once great little club, good luck, I hope that I am wrong, but I feel that the club is going to end up being another Bury.

The football club gets dragged lower and loweras time passeswhy have the last two owners tried so hard to make sure that there is no possible way that it can survive???.
The town and supporters and other members of North Lincolnshire should have run these two evil people out of the area, sadly this could be seen coming for the past six months, how does one guy run up debts of £12 million and award the clubs assetys to his company and get awway with it????????
Secondly how the hell does a guy purchase the club for £3 million pounds, and also supposedly have bought two large plotd of land for a supposedly new stadium, and do this when he doesn’t have the money to do so.

I really feel sorry for the past and present fans of SUFC and I appreciate that it would be difficult, but wish that the NLCC could do somethig to save our club.

There is no needto issue me with a ban, because while they are conected to our club, I have banned myself.

Confidence appears to be f;agging due to injury and suspensions that the players keep picking up. Buxton are another very moderate team, and Scunny should throw men into attack, but we do not seem to do that, and there also seems to be of the opinion that the ball must be blasted at goal chances, Jimmy must tell the players that you only get ONE GOAL if it is a world beater or just a tap in !!!!!!

I am going for SCUNTHORPE 1 BUXTON 0 (that is unless our
keeper does not try being clever in the area.
Attendance of 2,607, down a lot due to happenings this week,
many of them have had as much as they can endure.

Although I hate Swann and all the bullshit he has spun our fans over the many years, but what he has stated in his report on this forum, sadly points to what I have been saying for six months, “that Hilton never had the money to cover the £3K required to buy the club and ground / land, and that hair brained 1,899 offer to supporters was the way Hilton was wanting to pay for his purchace, it was also pointed out by myself that there was no chance of 1,899 supporters falling for that trap, in fact less than 100 fans contributed, then it was the date for the cheaper season ticket for the following season which was brought forward to a date whilst the present season was still ongoing, again a plan to get some funds earlier than was even reasonable. Hilton has failed to get this money from our loyal supporters so he has mow pulled the plug on things and bailed out. As usual it is the loyal fans that will suffer like always. It has been Hilton, Anderson, White and one other name change, he shoul;d have also have added Mr Tomas Pepper, that would have been fitting!!!!!

Ain’t the wage bill about £150k a month?
Just to pay that, 3,000 fans would have to set up a DD of £50 a month.

It is nevergoing to happen Rene, fans are plowing enough of their hard earned money in as it is, the club cannot be kept by extra fans donations, owners have made such a bloody mess of things, and supporters will not fund these owners many errors after being fed for years with lies after lies, the dark situation i that our club is not only bankrupped, but also heavyly in debt, and have no assets whatso ever. The club owe money to many people and also the Tax Office, and god knows who else.

EXPECT MORE BAD NEWS OVER THE NEXT TWO OR THREE WEEKS YOU REMAINING SUPPORTERS, SADLY.

It is fine to suggest that the Iron Trust get supporters to form a fund to save our club, but who in their right mind is going to contribute money for these two so called men. It is just throwing your cash down the drain.

Although we all have our different views of the glubs situation, I can sadly only see one ending to this mess.
It is obviouse and has been for a few years now, that Swann wishes to make SUFC extinct and that would give him the land package.
It is also a glaring fact that Hilton has put himself in a situation that he cannot continue in, because he does not have the money to do so, so he has now wanted out, and has done this by putting the club up for sale, where the hell he thinks he can obtain a buyer God knows.
The club has been run down and down over the past six years, in fact from being in the play off’s position in League One, down to League Two, and then into the National League, and even beyond this by a third relegation, but some how still have 3,600 loyal supporters. But if the club go part time, sell or get rid of the players in order to be able to operate without any loss, how many supporters do they think will be turning out to watch them????????, yes they will have about 600 to 800 the same as Brackley or Blyth as quoted. Sadly fans can only take so much, and surely that situation would be beyond 3,000 of the present fans, cam anyone imagine fans trecking to Gains’bro to watch NLN or possibly below sure dire levels. The Board of Directors must think long and hard of what they intend doing, because most of their supporters are used to their club playing in the Football levels and not in the leagues they are now in, so I sadly think that there is only one possible ending for the club.

So after all the lies and bullshit issued by Swann and now Hilton over the years I really feel sorry for the devoted and loyal supporters that have stuck with the club over the last six years.

So Hilton was supposed to have bought the two plots of land from the NLCC, can we take it that no money has been handed over like all the other deals Hilton has done!!!!, and that the New Stadium is just another pipe dream like the two new stadiums and refurbishment of GP like Swanns bullshit.

Our club I would say, has about a 20% chance of survival, I am sorry to say, but I have stated for the past 6 months what has dsadly come true over the past week, I wish that I could say that I was completely wrong, but at least I got my 70 years supporting SUFC, I feel so sorry for our present fans.

There used to be lots of interest for FA Cup games a few years ago, but all the time I read that we are better off out of i, why does this keep happening???

Anyway I am forcasting another draw at 90 mins tonight, I go for 1-1 this time, because we cannot seem able to put the ball into the net, but appear ok in defence.
Attendance of 1,007 with 55 from Scunny, how does that feel ????????????????, then lose on pens!!

It was the usual RH shite again today, rightly so Grimsby playing away, that was good, mbut on the other RH main cannel it was the fecking Hull Rugby League team playing another waste of time club in a match that had no hope of qualifying for anything, whilst Scunny were playing an FA Cup game against another top team, who the feck wants to listen to that rugby shite????.
I tried to get the 721 thing, but found that I failed again, why don’t RH put that rugby shite on that channel????????????

Well once again the faithful Scunny fans are being put through the mill by owners of the football club, this is terrible, and there is nothing worse than being kept in the dark by people that the fans are giving their hards eaned money to, this has been ongoing for over eight years now, and truth has always been replaced by either silence or bullshit.

Surely it is time for fans to say that “they have had enough of this shit”, as much as I love the club, I just cannot understand how our dupporters keep their interest going, I am sure that shortly these extra 1,200 fans that have returned to support the team will say they have had enough of this ongoing situation, they certaily do not deserve such treatment.

Very interesting but at the same time it is very sad.
After listening to the interview, my own opinion is that Mr Hilton has always been trying to live beyond his means, and that whenever he fails there is a lot of self pity gets involved, I have said almost from the off, that in my opinion Mr Hilton never had the funds to buy the club, and when the 1889 thing was introduced to sell the club Stadium (which he did not actually own) to the fans, and then when he brought forward the next seasons cheap rate season ticket deadline date to April (before the ongoing season was completed), that Mr Hilton was desparate to bring in money so that he could actually buy the club, I am sorry to say, this surely looks to haVE BEEN THE CAse.

In my own case, when my Bank crashed in 2008, and at 67 years of age and working 8,500 miles away in West Papua, I lost my complete life savings of 230K, but I did not rush home and jump off the Humber Bridge, I just decided to work another year out there in order to get a bit of cash saved, Mr Hilton should surely have accepted his situation instead of jumping from one situation to another, when in fact he never had a chance of them coming off. He sounds a broken man, and will surely not stay in his oresent job, I feel that this is a warning that he will full out.

I just hope that some one will save our loved little club, because with Swann still hovering, he will let SUFC die.

Well that really was a one off type of game, the team played poor, they couldn’t even beat a team that played for 55 mins with tyen men, they could not even convert a late penalt, and in games like that when teams play with nine men at the back, it is no good us playing down the middle, wide playing is the only way. Buxton did not deserve to win, and if they had not constantly dived and acted to be injuredd, they would never have been 10 mins added time, so it serves them right that the game has to be replayed. Added to a poor team performance, the officials had no clue, and got many things wrong throughout.

The training sessions should spend a lot of time working on breaking down nine men defences, because at the moment they do not know the answer, and a few teams will adapt this type of play, but I feel sure we will sort it out. Next weeks game should be different, because Brackley should play a more open game.

Yes this is fantistic news, and as Cass says, and I shall be having a couple of beers today after receiving such brilliant news !!
He really, really does piss listeners off with his vast knowledge he assumes that he has about football, when in fact he knows nothing, and was Scunthorpes worste manager in their history, it certainly is rwally, really great news, and the York City attendance figures should go up, as none of the fans will want to listen to him.
AS STATED really, really, really great news, and with their being no Hull City, Hull KR, Hull Rugby League, Hull Dockers games today, Scunny just might be on RH, unless they cover the North Ferriby game.

This match gives Scunny a very good chance of more progress at the top of the NLN.
I feel that the Scunthorpe team are a cut above the other team standard, and could pull away from the challengers.

    I am going for a forcast of :- Scunthorpe 3 Buxton 0.
    Attendance figure of :- 4,023.

Please don’t Prediction League members all go for this score, it will spoil the competition ha ha!

I enjoyed watchinng the gameon my computer, and a big well done to the players and management. Also a very good turn out by the Scunny faithfuls who again made up a very good mid-week attendance. Scunny played really well during the first 30 min, but that offside goal appeared to knock a bit of fight out of them, and after the second half kick off South Shields played veery well for half an hour, but Scunny controlled the match overall aND COULD HAVE HAD A COUPLE MORE GOALS DURING THAT FIRST HAlf.
I am also very pleased to have got the 3-1 score forcast correct once more, and being just 14 supporters out with the gate count feel that my Prediction League forcasting record has not dipped ha ha!

So back to the top of the league, and could possibly keep that position for a good while, so well done all round guys, because you have waited a long time for some enjoyment and entertainment.

Great memories of Barrie, a true great, it was great to watch him play each week, by best memory of Barrie was our 4-0 win at Leeds Utd, with him scoring all 4 goals. Jack Charlton stated that Barrie was one of the best centre forwards he had seen. I used to go drinking with Ken Jones down at the Barclay Hotel on a Saturday night, he was a very good keeper, and also a very good drinker, he often spent the night sleeping in his outside loo after being locked out for the night by his wife, so he used to tell us ha ha!, those were the days when it was a pleasure attending matches, I never missed an home game for years, and also attended 80% of away games.

It will possibly be a tough game for Scunny, but after saying that, it will probably be a tougher one for South Sheilds. We need 3 points from this game, as we really lost 2 points on Saturday due to the ref and the red card, and with Connor Snith in the team, there should be more chances of scoring goals.

So my forcast is Scunny 3 South Sheilds 1.

Attendance of 3,488, which for a mid-week fixture in this league, is a cracking turn out, considering the fans had turned out in force for the game at Alfreton three days ago.

Wish I could have been there, but will watch it on my computer all being well.

Enjoy the game guys and lets hope for 3 points.

Once again I failed to get coverage of the Scunny ,atch and gave up after ten minutes, the two main RH Stations had Hull City on one of them (which was ok because of playing away), but the other one had that shite Rugby on covering Hull v Leeds (playing at home), who in their right mind wants to listen to that shite, Rugby aLeague games should be played on a Sunday when people are having an afternoon nap.
So both stations were once again covering Hull matches, and when half time came in the Rugby game I switchewd it on to get the half time summery of the Scunny and all it covered was the bloody Hull Sity manager talking about signings and player contracts, a few adverts and a talk of the first half of the bloody rugby match. WHAT A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME THAT RH IS, all that was missing was Copey Smiles playing some rap records,to wind my afternoon up!!!!!
