Ferrite, if rere is a reduced number of fans, lets say reduced to 2,000 fans, there would be no need for me to leave early, but I cannot see a problem if I did leave 5 mins before the game ends!!!

The big question, where will we finish, in my opinion there could be either one of two answers.

    1. If supporters are not allowed into grounds before the end of the year, we will go into administration.

    2. If fans are allowed to attend games during October, I think that a League position of between 12th and 15th will be what we willend up with, I know that we have only played two matches, but we do not appear to be doing too much attacking, and I am hoping that this changes.

What I cannot understand is that a small number of fans where allowed to attend the Brighton match, then again a reduced number of supporters where allowed for the Cambridge game, and there were no signs of any issues, now this is again to occure at Salford of all places, they are in the top six visus area’s, but how many more matches do the Government want to prove things can be done without issues, there is no reason what so ever to not have attendances of 20 to 25% limits and by advanced ticks only, this is ongoing at Scunthorpe Speedway and things are going ahead without any signs of any issues, why not football???

Thanks Yorkiron, I understand it now pal, but with it being the first time I had tried to use this i-follow thing, and it asked for a code, I had no reason that a code wasn’t needed. I understood the £10 fee thing and was trying to pay when that code thing happened, I just hope that there are no bloody snags next Saturdaybut do not hold my breath on it.

Just one qustion, when Scunny are playing away after next week, how will be able to pay, assuming that those away games are not free, will we nee a code for away matches??

Thanks guys for your much needed advice, but after spending a long time last night looking for that bloody ncode, before giving up, I decided not to bother trying today, because if I had got a repete of yesterday frustratio, I would probably thrown the computer through my office window ha ha!!

Hppe next weeks game is simple for season ticket holders to access.

I intended watching the game tomorrow and registered as requested, then completed the payment section until reaching the part which says (enter a promotional code to redeem youroffer), I have looked all through things and do not have any idea where to access this promotional code, nothing is ever bloody simple is it, and the Scunny office is still closed, so no help from that direction.

I shall be bloody annoyed if being a long standing season ticket holder and cannot access free games starting next week.

So it will be radio Humberside if it is being broadcast.

Do you mean the 10th October Mick, we have an home game on 10h, and 12th is a Monday, surely if sypporters are allowed, two bloody days will make no difference what so ever, although the way things are, anything could be given as a start date.

Same as you say Cass, it is some size of a squad we now have, surely there must be some players going the other way!! But fair play to Mr Swann, he is not frightened of bringing out the cheque book.

Has anyone heard when supporters are to be admitted to stadiums, surely someone must know by now??

It appears to be a lot like the EFL are with their assisting smaller clubs with some money, it never seems to be agreed what is happening, the season starts next week, and nothing is decided at this late stage!!

I attended the Scunthorpe v Leicester Speedway meeting today with a limit of 600 fans, and it was run perfectly, why cannot football do the same???

I just tried to book a ticket for an Ifollow place, but it comes back S “YOUR E-MAIL ADDRESS IS NOT RECONISED”, so it looks as though it will be a listening job on Humberside.

I think it is time for you to put your spade down before you dig the hole any deeper, you would be better realising that you are only a small fish in a very big ocean, just like we are.

Surely we can get the views of more than two members of the Prediction League regarding six points or fourpoints for CORRECT DRAW FORCAST BUT NOT THE CORRECT NUMBER OF GOALS, JUST TAKE A MINUTE OF YOUR TIME GUYS AND PUT EITHER SIX OR FOUR, it cannot be any more simple.

Thanks for getting involved Matt, always willing to solve our problems.

Just please take a vote of members regarding the four or six points for a draw result, but not being the correct goals, ie 2-2 forcast and result is 3-3 for example, then accept the outcome, so please give your views guys, it was always six points until the past two seasons, was there a reason for it to change???

OK Northumbiron, no more to be said by me on the issue, as stated TWICE it was only my opinion, I respect what you say, so you do not agree with my comments.

But the FOUR POINTS for predicting a draw is completely wrong, when you see a 2-1 prediction and they get SEVEN POINTS if the score end up being 7-1, that is my main gripe, why it was changed two years ago makes no sense what so ever.

Yes guys, nice to see your comments, and respect what you say, but do you really think that putting 2-1 for every match throughout the season is actually PREDICTING THE SCORE OF GAMES, lets face it, you use that score because it is the most ommon result for match endings.

Actually Ironfan I was not aware that you were one of the 2-1 merchants pal, I was actually making reference to the punter that has used the 2-1 / 1-2 for two seasons, apart from one Friday night match which was left open overnight, and he actually changed his forcast to the correct result of 3-2, but his move was spotted by Matt who correctly awarded him zero points, but that move really sticks in my gullet, and as stated it is supposed to be for fun and to generate funds to maintain the Forum, so for sixty quid for a full season, is it really worth cheating???? MY ANSWER IS A BIG NO!!

After listening to this latest podcast, I feel very much assured by what Mr Sqann came up with , and he did not appear to dodge any questions pot to him.

The thing is now for supporters to get behind the club, Chairman, Managers and players, and although I have no idea on the new players, feel that we have eight or nine very good League players that can easily hold their own in League Two, and also that the atitude sounds to be a lot better throughout the club and team than it has been during the past two yearJust hoping that this b;oody virus wasws off to a;;ow fans back tpo watch a few matches, but with Peter stating October, it doesn’t look as though Septembers cup matches will be open for fans.

Anyway good luck to the club, and also to it’s supporters.

I would just like to point out the enjoyment I have drawn from being a member of the Predictiob League over the past five seasons, but a couple of things have changed over the past two seasons which in my opinion are not for the good of the competition.

Firstly there was a change made for the past two seasons when a draw forcast for a game predition but not being the correct goals recorded was changed from the original six points to four points for some reason, in my opinion a correct result has been forcast and should be awarded six points. At the present time if someone predicts a 2-1 result, and the actual score is 6-1, he gets SEVEN POINTS, whereas if someone predicts 1-1 and the actual result is 2-2 he only gets FOUR POINTS, can anyone see any sense in this situation???.

Secondly a couple of members put down 2-1 or 1-2 for EVERY RESULT throughout the season, I appreciate that members can put what ever result they wish, because there are no rules preventing this, but this is NOT PREDICTING, it is just putting the result that most matches end in, you may as well make it a competition that requests either a H for home win, and A for an away win. It is much more interesting and fair to see a Sanfran 4-1 or a Cassidy 0-3 PREDICTION., because at the end of the day we are not playing for a row of houses, in actual fact the Prediction League Winner for the nine month long competition gets odds of 4-1 on his stake, and the runner up gets 2-1 on his entrance fee.

These are my opinions only, and before anyone thinks or say anything about being greedy, I have ended all of the five seasons in the top four places each year, and apart from the following years entrace fee being paid, I have always requested Matt to put the rest towards the forum operations fund, but the above two things are a spoiler as far as I am concerned, this competition should be for fun, and members should Predict what they think the result should be, and not 2-1, 2-1, 2-1, 2-1, 1-2, week after week throughout the season, just because it is the most ended result in games.

AS STATED, THIS IS MY OPINION, IF YOU AGREE FAIR ENOUGH, IF NOT THAT IS YOUR OPINION.

I thought the questions were for PS to answer, not UTI99.

    Unless!!!

The feason that UTI99 answered our questions is that his office is next door to Mr Swanns, and Peter was busy and UTI99 took it on himself to step in.

And no UYI99 I do not listen to all the speaches of Mr Swanns, possibly because I do not know when most of them are presented, but I thought my questions were reasonable and could produce answers from the Boss, but nice to hear from you again UTI99 you have come through difficult times and do not appear to have changed much, take care.
