He is a very good signing, but how many players do we need this season???

What worries me is that the lad said that “the manager called me on Wednesday and impressed me with his aims of how he wants his team playing”, would he have informed him like he has us supporters that he wants to see us playing ATTACKING FOOTBALL.

Northumbiron—You should not be wandering to other places mate, being in the high virus area, you should be sat at home watching iplayer to see if you can spot a Scunny shot on target during the 95 mins playm they are a very rare item these days.

This time it has managed to stay at 2-0 ame as you say Ironfan / Mick, but you are wrong regarding the 4×2-1 forcasts guys, TRANMERE 2-0, MORCAMBE 1-2, STEVENAGE 1-2, FOREST GREEN 0-1 and just the one 2-1.
How do you check my forcasts, I did not know that it was possible lads.

No Cass keep away from the 2-1 scores pal, theyARE NOT DOING VERY WELL THIS SEASON HA HA!M, THAT WEEK YOU SCORED NO POINTS cASS, i MANAGED JUST three POINTS, SO IT PROVES THAT EVEN THE BEST CAN FAIL SOME TIMES, BUT HIT BACK LAST sATURDAY WITH 37 POINTS, ITS ALL ABOUT BALANCE MATE.

I will check again in the morning to see if the Tranmere score is still 2-0, there would be no chance of it ending up 2-2, Christ we have only had four shots on target in our last three matches, despite Coxes attacking style of play and tactics ha ha!

Ferrite——You say that there is more money in ;ower league footbll now then there was in the 1980 and 1990s, I am sure that you are not thinking that wages of the endless number of staff that Scunny are carrying is anywhere near what it was in those day!!!!. Back then we ha a manager, an assistant manager, a trainer and a sponge man, now we have three managers and three assistants endless coaches and fitness guys, thirty odd players not on £700 to £1,000 per month, you cannot compare the two periods.

Why the hell the government does not see fit for 2,500 supporters to come into a 10,000 stadium like ours, but yet can approve planes carrying 350 passengers that are all breathing the same circulating air for possibly 10 hours, and coming from far afield, and then after landing in the UK can then walk straight out into our public, is far from being anything but brainless.

All holiday flights, and people going back to places like Indea to see family and then coming back should all have been banned back in March, SEVEN

WALTERSLEFTFOOT—THE TRANMERE WIN OVER LIVERPOOL UNDER 21S WAS NOT REALLY THAT GOOD MATE, THE SAME LIVERPOOL 21 TEAM LOST THEIR FIRST MATCH 6-0 AGAINST WIGAN.

The prblem is ARardyou say lets take little wins and judge after 10 games, I fear that this may be our only win in these ten games you are on about, we hav had about five shots on target in our last three matches, thats over four and a half hours play!!!!!!!!!

We will be in the relegation area again by that timew, alreasy out of the League Cup 1st rd and also out f the FL Tophy, and another 1st round xit of the FA Cup will end our season by November, so you are all happy the way things are going???

Yes heath, you know it does my friend, as I stated, even if you are a first year supporter of the club, you are a true member of the true supporter club, it makes mewe happy to see fans comments on here, thats what forums are for mate, it is nice to see friendly and different views of each fan.

How are you Sanfran, when you stated Watson 10 points and 9 points for the other ten players, I assumed that you agreed with team selection in a team with one up front, I agree that they deserve 9 out of 10 foreffort, but we will not win many matches playing those tactics..

No body complains about the tree points Ferrite, we complain about the system of dropping the full team into defence for the last 25 minutes, nine times out of ten the team will concede at least one goal, so we will not even b in a position of complaining aboutwinning, simply be cause we will notend up winning, it is bloody stupid letting an average team constantly play in your penalty box, on Saturday we got lucky, that will not often happen like that.

Yes 2 for bradford yesterday, he is a real goal machine, pity we let him go!!, what I mean by real supporters, is fans that attend matches, be it for one season or twenty seasons, people like yourself Iron-awe, Mick, Cass, Sanfran and about 3,000 others, people that have their own opinions of players and effort put in by them, also about playing tactics etc, its nice to hear their views, those that I consider as not real fans are people that are Man City or other twams that claim to be supporters but never attend any games, these are fake supporters.

Sanfran, I never thought I would ever hear you say that playing defensive with one up front football is ok with you!!!!, in fact I would think that no one has stated on here more times than yourself about Scunny must not play one up front!!!

You must have been in the Prediction League points yesterday Sanfran with Scunny winning, I had a terrible start to the season, but with 53 points from the last two sets of nine fixtures are heading to my correct place once more ha ha!

Supporters are all saying the same thing, but probably what is sticking in the gut, is that Hippolyte had such a poor match but was kept on for the full game. We all know how Eisa can play, so why keep hin sitting on the bench??????????, I just hope that Cox reads real supporters views on the situation, we have had half a dozen managers in the past four years, and they all turn to this defnsive rubbish, possibly Robins was an exception, but they all ended getting the brunt end of Mr Swanns stick. This season appears to have many poor teams in it, so what have we to lose????

We will be a lot stronger when Clarke, McGayhey, McAte, Eisa and Kevin are fit again, and should have a strong enough team forleaguetwo, but Cox must stop this defensive tactic and let the team play football.

Very good reviews by above reports, all seem to contain the same views of each player, it was a win for our team, but it was made very difficult by Coxes tactics of filling the defence with players, thats why the ball came straight back into our box, Carlisle must be kicking themselves for going away with nothing.

Lawsihateyou, as a bit of an answer to your question, the club was reported to be losing £70,000 per week when supporters were allowed at games, so work out what the figue i after taking into consideration that gate money from 3,800 fans is missing.

Northumbiron, I intended to quote China and leave you out of it pal.

I am affraid that Nori Man has just about summed the situation what will happen, I go along with Sanfran like most supporters, but it never seems to happen, don’t ask me why, but after about three years of the same old rubbish, we can only sit back and hope!!!!!

Actually Random, with you saving that much money, would it make sense for you to make a donation to the SUFC of the amount of your savings mate??

I am also saving about £6 on each home match plus probably three hours in time, but I do not manage to get to many away games, but its great to pay £10 and watch matches on the computer. But at the end of the day, it really is a big loss after attending Scunny games for 68 years, to have this taken away by some Chinese prick 7,000 miles away.

Our worry now is, how long can the club survive?????

The thing is regading ifollower passes, if a season ticket holswe gets a home match pass, the club does not get any extra cash from it, only passes bpught by non season ticket holders actually pay for it.

The money received from ifollower is only a small amount compared to the vast cost the clubs face each week.

This is not a very good sign for League 1 and 2 clubs, they have little tono income coming into their clubs, and there is no sign of the greedy big boys or the football league coming up with any help, they have sat on the situation for four months now, and seem to have turned their backs on things and will watch as clubs fold. It really sickens me to see their reaction to the crisis, but it was only the same picture when four months ago the Premier players were requested to take a 10% drop in wages in order for the lower league players to survive, they had a one off whip round for the NHS instead, which produced a poltry sum of £3 million, that was from over 2,400 Premier registered players, sum on £400,000 per week, they are greedy pathetic creatures.

The question is who and when will the fist club be, a very sad situation caused by this bloody virus and being no fault of any of the lower league teams, some of which have struggled along for fifty, sixty or ever 100 years.

Regarding season ticket holders, it looks as though we will just need to accept the situation and watch games on our computers, in my case my season ticket costs about £10 per game, so actually will not lose out, but full paying members will be hit in their pockets to the tune of an extra £10 per game for home matches, we can only pray that things improve a lot, but the chances of that look very grim, in fact just as grim as the pathetic Premier teams and their players.

Again we took nothing from playing a very poor team in Crawley, in fact we had ONE SHOT on target in the 95 minutes, and that was a long range effort straight at their keeper, (that was the only shot he had at him, Watson had TWO SHOTS on target during the whole match, but wait a minute, Cox said we were going to play attacking football), when will this start????

Vincent, Loft, Hornshaw, and the German where all shite, you will never make a team out of that lot.

The only good thing in the match was my 7 points in the Prediction League, I had 2-0.

I would think that our supporters will be hoping for an extention on the no fans allowed situation, at least we only waste 2 hours with IFoller and not half a day. Where are McAtee and Coulclough £££

No player rating marks today, just put 5 against all eleven of them.

The thing is no one knows what the hell to do, the Government are changing things by the day, they in my opinion have made a hell of a mess with the situation, and the sad thing is that any other party would be just as bad. The virus has in fact ruined every one’s life, it has ruined every countries financial status, we do not have control of things, America, France, Germany, Brazil, and every country you can name is being out witted by this terrible virus. Our only chance is if a vacsene can be found, but that is unlikely this year, and sadly probably not next year, they cannot find a cure for a common cold, never mind against a virus that is completely out of control, and destroys different parts of the body.
Regarding football, well I would suggest as I did four months ago, restrict fans to 25% of the grounds capacity, have ticket only entry, and clearly mark seat that cannot be used, what is the worst situation, fans sitting six feet away from anyone, or crowds walking downthe high Streets of any city or town, mostly not wearing face masks, at the end of the day idiots will do as they please whatever laws that are broght in.

In my opinion, if football was suspended all season, most clubs will go out of business, that is for sure!!!!

This issue as supposedly been kicked about for over four months now, and it has still not helped the lower leaguenteams one little bit, it is their pure greed that is seeing league one & two clubs go bust. The same situation occurred with the Premier League players that were requested to drop their wages by 10% in order to support lower league players, the greedy sods came back wirh no help what so eer, players on wages up to £300,000 per week could not take a cut and live on £270,000 per week!!!!, whilst league two players could not even get their £1,000 salary. The EFL are useless, the Premier clubs and players are selfish greedy indivduals.

It is three games Sanfran, already out of the League Cup first round again, and not won any of the other two matches, same old, same old, we have seen it so many times, defensive last 20 mins, even when playing at home, so why does Cox tell us that we are going to play attacking football, when all we get is this stuff, no Scunny manager ever plays two up front, even at GP.

yOU CANNOT MAKE IT SOUND ANY DIFFERENT sANFRAN, IT IS SIMPLY THE SAME OLD DEFENSIVE RUBBISH.

Mick, It would have been better being at GP, at least I would not had to witness our team playing with eleven men in their own penalty area during those last 15 minutes, I would have been at the Barnetby roundabout when the final wistle went ha ha!, but with it being in front of me, I had to watch the computer, but is to be hoped that things get better than Saturdays match, even though Newport had lost their last six away games, Actually I feel that we had a bit of luck getting the one point.

I fully adree with your last statement paL

I also wish that we had an experienced goalkeeper, fans should not be asking if Watson is good enough after thr number of games he has now played, he makes me annoyed when a cross or corner comes in which is well inside his goal area, and he never comes out to catch or punch the ball, and he and the Scunny defender should have done better with Saturdays goal, he makes far too many errors for me.

Actually Northumbiron, it was nice to watch the game without having to look round the Cluggy stand stanchions, and I thought the coverage was not too bad, and probably saw more of the game than being present, and certainly less of my time wasted by just watchig from 15-00 hrs till 16-50 hrs instead of 13-00 hrs till getting home at 17-15 hrs. When you say it is not easy to give rating marks, well that also applies if youare present at the game, that’s why everyone gives diffent views of what they saw, but it’s only an assessement after all.

Spot on with your comments Big Left Toe, exactly how I saw thungs mate, but it was a poor game and made me happy to have not been present at GP.

Can we havw some player rating mars guys, thats why I started this second thread, because the other one had no ratings after 11 entries. We did not lose same as Cass states, but if we are truthful, we were the second bes team on the pitch, we offered nothing up front for a team playing at home, this is a continuation of the two previouse seasons, please give your views lads.
