Pleased to hear Neil say he is going to play his strongest team for the remainder of the season to see how many points we can get, pity he hasn’t done it earlier, but then again he said we would play attacking entertaining football at the start of the season so hope he doesn’t back track this time.
I was talking to him after yourself Mick, and he told me that after a management meeting with Mussa, he had changed his mind about picking his best team because both Oldham and Tuesdays teams are both on losingn runs and are well overdue wins, so they are to continue playing at least five players that have done nothing during marches, in order to assess if they can be given another two year contracts in June. Cox says that some of his players must have a lot of football in them, because none as come from yjem this season!!!
There is contact with his calf when you slow the video down and he is now struggling with a dead calf, so it will be interesting if he makes it tomorrow.

All that the photo does for me is to see yheir guy falling, nothing else can be deducted from it, and I am sure that the ref did not have a slow motion shot of it.
As for making it for tomorrow Matt, it depends if his name is pulled out of the drum draw machine which Cox uses for picking his match day team.
Defiatley no penalty, just wishfull thinking.
Watched the after match vedeo five times, and that is 100% NOT A PENALTY OF KEVS, there was no contact whatsoever, he did stumble as he slipped when attempting to get to the loose ball, but the ref was 100% correct!!!, and I still say that he had a good game.
So lets get an early start for the build up for Tuesdays home match against Oldham, we should make about five changes for this game in order to follow our squad rotation system that Mr Cox likes, even though it will weaken our team selection for that game.
The team will be instructed not to take any chances against Oldham, who are a very good team with some cracking forwards, our team will be informed by Mr Cox (with Mussa standing with crossed armes beside him) that although Oldham have only won ONE match in their last Eight games, but will be a big threat to us if we venture out of our own half, so lets play our udsual 5-4-1, and make sure that our goal keeper does not go wondering from his goal line if tempted to to try and cut out any crosses into our goal area.
Sounds sad, but it is very true!!!!!

Cox with his usual post-match bluster…”they’re a good team and passed the ball well.” No Neil, they’re piss poor and had scored a whopping 3 goals in 10 matches before today’s game. Why do we act like we’re up against Barcelona every week!?
I like Cox and I’m still on his side but that is wearing very thin. Reminds me of Nige and his whole “little old Scunthorpe, in the championship, how fantastic!” It is nige yeah but it’d be nice to get a few points as well. Used to drive me mad
Whatthe hell is there to like about the man, he reminds me of Wilcox, but the difference being is that we were promoted with Wilcox, there is no chance wit this guy, his whole defensive atitude spoils any chance of us gaining anything but the exit gates at GP, we have been spared that this season, but who is going to turn up next year to watch paint dry.
We have another home game against another shite team in Oldham, what will be the assessment of Oldham by our brains trust management team.[/quote
I am a bit shocked by two or three comments regarding the ref, I thoughthe had a good game, and what penaltyare people talking about?
Another boring 90 mins and another waste of £10, furst half we just put players back in our half and gave it the big boot, the second half we competed with a poor team and the game petered out, and was a 1-1 draw result with 30 mins to go. A few nice free kicks from Kev should have resulted in a win, but no one ever got a grip on the game like they wanted to win it, once again the Ref was first class.
HOWARD–5–Didn’t have a save to make, their goal was when he watched a cross into his box while their guy ran ten yards and nodded it in, again no goal area control.
BROWN—5—Made a few errors, but got through the game.
BEDEAU–6—Defended ok, but should have scored from one of Kevs free kicks.
CLARKE—6—Did ok, and over lapped a few times.
KARACAN—8—Stood out in our team, MOM in a poor squad.
ROWE—5—Nothing really outstanding, but should get more match time.
GILLIEAD–6–Very quiet 1st half, but played very well 2nd half.
BEESTIN—6—Hot andcold, but did not go forward enough, probably Cox system??
HALLAM—4—Did not notice him playing, should have played Spence.
KVV—7—Ran his legs off, and took some good free kicks, playe too deep.
LOFT—7—Good first 15 mins, bad luck with that header, but no feed to him.REF—9—Very good ref.
COX—5—Very defesive first half, 35-65% posession against a poor team, Scunny supporters are in for a very thin and boring period with this management team. The League 2 is of very poor standard this season, and we are watching unentertaining, boring and defensive football, and it is very difficult seeing any future changes to the management playing system. his rsting of the five key players on Tuesday bit him in the arse with only getting the 1 point today.
Another motely team put out today, and we will probably be set up to try and contain a very poor team that we are playing.
So Spence was MOM a couple of games ago, then he was dropped and managed 15 min as sub, this week he is bench warming along with O’Malley who is our lest left back.
Never mind, there isn’t anything to play for this season, but it would encourage supporters to buy next seasons season tickets if we adapted the system of selecting our best team each week, instead of this bloody rotation system, so as to give most of the too heavey squad a game. I cannot really see us losing at Leyton, because they are really piss poor, but fans still want our team to put on a bit of a show, and following last weeks home game when we necer had even one shot on target during the 97 mins of play, and just a reminder, it was a HOME MATCH!!!!!
Leyton is an away game I love to go to, I normally drive to an hotel about half a mile from their ground on a Friday afternoon, book into the hotel, have a few beers and stay till lunch on the Saturday, after a good breakfast, attend the game, nd as awaywego says Scunny always get a good result at Keyton, then a drive back to complete the weekend, it’s a very nice ground as well, but no trip this season.
I think that aswell as tactics being used Sanfran, team selection will play a big part, but I don’t know what to expect with this manager, I think that he uses the old half time drum draw to select the team, by putting the whole squad into it and see who comes out.
We should be on for a win against a very poor Leyton team, and of caurse we have five of our best players well rested up after Cox sacrificed the points against Exeter. So I will go for a 2-0 win, even though we didn’t manage one bloody shot on target during Tuesdays match in the full 97 mins.
Then again we do not know what the team selection will be!!!!!!!!, anything can happen with Cox in charge.
Cox stated after Tuesdays pathetic game, that energy levels were down, why does he not come out with the truth and say that skill and effort levels were far less on show from a team that put in very little and a very poor work rate. And he could have come out with the truth, that it was his five changes from a winning team and his tactics that was the main fault.
Same as Ironawe is saying, our better players will be out of contract and gone, and we will be left with players like Loft, Turan, Bedeau, Clarke, Green, HippoliteHoward and Olomolo who has played about 4 games in three years ha ha!, and God help us with our scouting team!!!!
The biggest problem at Scunny is that we have over 30 players signed on, most of whome are not good enough even for a poor league 2, instead of 22 players of better standard, the club probably have about seven that meet this requirement, and possibly five of these will have left the club. Why isn’t the Chairman asking Cox the question, “why do McAtee and Eisa want to play, and this was also the case with Coulclough before he was bladdered?
Like the Englands Cricket team, this bloody rotation system wants binning, if a professional player cannot play two games or three hours per week there is something really wrong at GP, all that is needed is to ease off on the training pitch, or cannot anyone see sence, there is anough of the management staff to work it out between them.
BigLeft Toe—–Christ pal don’t say that about Gilliead, I prazed him last week and got slaughtered !!!!!, I think very highly of what Newey says, I only wish he was our manager instead of that clown Cox.. Who would dream of making five chages to the team that had just gained 4 points from two difficult aeay games, and just about the FIVE BEST PLYERS the club has.
You ca bet your life that the best team will be out on Saturday, which gives me the feeling that Cox did not think that we could win todays game.
Well Premier-iron, I have only kept you waiting for 21 minutes pal, but as you say, it was complete shite, and resting most of our best players suggests that Cox is aiming for points from certain games, and giving up on others, including todays. Actually the team was not much better adainst Cambridge when we were battered, but our fans were over the moon because we got the 3 points, I wonder what the same guys think of tonights match, and their MOM last week was dropped tonightha ha!, wait a minute mine was to ha ha, Cox is a bloody clown.
Well guys no body will be attacking me tonight regarding the MOM, simply because we didn,t have one, team selection was shite, team tactics were shite, the whole team was shite and very few of them wanted to be playing, they were outplayed from start to finish.
HOWARD—5—Could have done better with both of their goals.
O’MALLEY—5—Took some really godd corners, but no forward even bothered to go for them.
BEDEAU—6—Probably played as well as any of them, but that means nothing tonight.
KAANAVAN—6—Not his usual self.
ROWE—5—Has played a lot better, too many free kicks given away.
BEESTIN—6—No link up between defence and forwards.
HIPPOLITE—6—Trie but not really good enough, dropped off after half time.
GREEN—3—disappointing, not involved in anything.
CLARKE—5—Not any better than he is at full back.
eisa—3—Not interested, looked non league class at very best.
LOFT—3—Should be on the bench if this playing system is used.SUBS—-5—None of them made any difference, the rot was too far instilled.
REF—3—Was bloody terrible, blew up every minute, not had a look at the number of free kicks awared, but it must be near 30 to 40.. Blew up contiually, whistle happy prick.
COX—2—-The team selection was a bloody joke, our best players all dropped to the bench at once, KVV, GILLIEAD, SPENCE, CLARKE all dropped so they can target next Saturdays game at Leyton, and had no intention of trying for points in tonights match.
This was one of the worse games I have seen by Scunny since starting watching them in 1951, in fact we did not have one shot on target in the 97 minutes, boring shite Cox.

Iron-aw—–it is not really about the way of putting things mate, it is nore about what is put!!!
It really does no good for me, being constantly pulled up about spelling errors, if I was better at spelling, I would certainly get the words right, but at the end of the day mate we all have good points, and I feel sure that no one is perfect, are am I wrong in thinking that?????
As I say Iron-awe, that is my terrible poor part, but I am brilliant at many others, just ask me, and as I said, I have an eye test booked for Tuesday morning, but fear that it will be a waste of time, I only had two new sets of specs four months ago, I think I have has too much fun with moles ha ha!
Well that is notstrictly correct in our modern times is it !!!!!
Use spacebar or back to CAPITALS please BS. That is all.
Iron-awe—–this is a football forum mate, not an English lesson, or in basic facts, it is to give supporters chance to point out their OWN VIEWS on what they think about matches, players and their experience of our football club, the truth pal is that I stopped my school lessons in 1956, then travelled all over the world working for the next 50 years.
Well that is notstrictly correct in our modern times is it !!!!!
opinions—opinions—opinions, I PROBABLY KNOW MORE ABOUT FOOTBALL THAN YOURSELF AFTER FOLLOWING IT SINCE 1951, IF NOT THEN, I TAKE MY HAT OFF TO YOU, BUT JUST LETS KEEP IT FRIENDLY, AFTER ALL THESE ARE ONLY SUPPORTERS OPINIONS, SO LETS SAY THAT THEY BOTH PLAYED VERY WELL.
If you can’t see Spence as MOM find the nearest optician .He was outstanding
Premier—-give me a bloody break man, you say thet Spence was your MOM TODAY, I said that MY MOM was Gilliead. If you look at therating marks, I gave boyh of them ratings of EIFGR, which suggests that they both played really well, so no need for your splitting of hairs just to have a go.
And if you look at last weeks marking section, I did state that I have an eye test next Tuesday at 10-15 hrs, so no need for reminding you of it is there?
If you can’t see Spence as MOM find the nearest optician .He was outstanding
Premier—Give me a bloody breake man, you say Spence was MOM, I said in my ratingsthat
Just for interest what are the views regarding the Scunny penalty ????, I thought it was a bit harsh myself.
When I saw the team sheet, I thought it was not the best, but they played very well, and possibly shaded posession, but did mot create many chances, so in faioness, a draw was a fair result. These are my rating marks for the team, some might noy agree, but I think they are very fair.
Howard–7–A bit unsure with a few crosses, a poor punch for their goal, but ok.
O’MALLEY—7—Played well and is due a run, forms a good pairing with Rowe.
BEDEAU—7–Looked very safe and defended well, parynered McgAHEY VERY WELL.
MCGAYHEY–7– Good defensive work, and kept the Salford players very quiet.
HIPPOLITE—7—The best I have seen him play, good to watch, some key through balls.
ROWE–7—Played very well (see O’Malleys comments).
HALLAM—5—Did not see a lot of him to be honest, maybe needs playing time.
SPENCE–8–Got through some very goodwork.
GILLIESD—8—Again my MOM, I hope we can get him sorted on a lomg term contract.
KVV—7—Really worked hard and we have missed him.
EUSA—5—Nice penalty, but he really is not playing well, lost it since last season.SUBS—ALL 6.
REF—8—Had a good game, Hippolyte booking was wrong, bit the ref did not award diving like most of them do.
COX—7—The team played very well and deserved their point, I hope that he gives O’Malley and Rowe an extended run in the team, but in general, well done today, and some supporters were over the moon after our game against Cambridge on Tuesday, EVEN THOUGH WE WERE BATTERED BY THEM, BUT TODAY WE REALLY PLAYED VERY WELL.
SALFORD BENCH—2–i recorded 41 verbal “fuck’s” from them during the 98 mins, they poor standard and it sounded to be all from the same lunatic.
Another away win would be brilliant for us, but maybe it is so long since we played in a drawn match, I have the feeling that this could be the one!!
Hope for a win, but my forcast is a 1-1 draw.
Yes it was Beestin that scored, just a slip of the keyboard, but not quiet a hanging offence is it.
I’m afraid it is BS, as we speak a scaffold is being constructed outside your old boozer the Bellend. Please be there 6 o clock prompt on Friday, several moles will be available for any last request of yours that may be granted. Don’t forget to say cheese to the camera when the handle is pulled by Mr Bullybeeftin. PS. Book an eye test.
Iron-awe, funny thing pal, I have an eye test booked for 10-15 on the 9th March, but I think that my eyes need more than new specs, I must have had too many moles.
Tell them to make sure it is a strong scaffolding that will take at least 20 stoned, and one last request is for me to meet the FORUM SIX and treat them to a good piss up in the Bellend Pub ha ha! and no bloody need for any Moles, those little brats are too painfull.
Yes it sure wassmash and grab, it usually comes off once in ten matches when a team is outplayed, and yes Clarke was the worsyt player in our team, but the fans are over the moon wit the three points, so we will go along with that till the next time we play like today and possibly get stuffed 5-0. Yes it was Beestin that scored, just a slip of the keyboard, but not quiet a hanging offence is it.
Absolute rubbish Stampy, those marks where my asswssment for todays match, ok you are over the moon at the Scunny performance, but they were very, very luckey to take the points, and could (but where not) been 4-0 down at half time.
I agree what you say regarding it being a very, very, very good result and three very, very good points, but your comments are 100% based on the result, a few of the player were crap, Clarke, Green, Bedeau and Eisa if you need names, but as I have said many times, THESE ARE MY RATINGS and you have your own views, why don’t you submit your ratings and we will see wghat you think, but if we had lost 3-1 I feel sure your assessment would be completely differend, yes we had ONE SHOT ON TARGET IN 100 minutes, not that brilliant is it.

Did anyone get a commentary of any kind, there were about fifteen F’s from the dugout, I would think all of them was from the Cambridge one.
Well that was some game, talk about Robin Hood, they dominated the first hour, but failed to take their many chances, we had ONE SHOT all game and came away with a win!!!
My ratings for tonights match being:-
HOWARD—8—Made saves when required, but his kicking found touch 70% of the time.
BROWN—6—Did ok and defended well.
KARACAN8—8—My MOM today, passed very well and good position all game.
McGAHEY—-7–Did his job, without being his usual outstanding self, but ok.
clarke—3—hE HAD A TERRIBLE GAME, POOR PASSING, CAUGHT IN POS
BEEDTIN—-5—-Not involved in much tonight, abcent for long spells.
GREEN—4—Did very little, never got involved, why select him???
BEDEAU—4—Caught in posession too many times, poor passing, getting worse.
GILLIEAD—7—Played well without being his normal self, difficult game for midfielders.
EISA—3—Never beat his man, dribbled into their players and lost the ball many times, and over hit crosses every time, how can a player go off so much???
KVV—7—Very difficult up front with yourself, but took his one chance very well.REF–9—A first class performance by him, did not react to dives, kept play going.
COX—5—Usual 45 mins defending all first half, one shot on target all 99 minutes, poor team selections with Rowe and O’Malley on the bench, Rowe should have starte instead of Clarke, and O’Malley should have started instead of Green. Very valuable but luckey three points, but Cambridge only had themselves to blame, good to see Howard have a good game, but his kicking should be handy when he turns to Rugby League for a couple of years before retiring. I think Onarise instead of Bedeau would vastly improve the team when fit.

By the way pal, how are you SIX guys getting on these days, I have lost track with not reading the non-football section any more, I really miss the crack on there, it gets a bit boring now, thats probably why I turned to that bloody mole ha ha!
Try this then Deereyme66, I did not explain the full reason for being at Scunny Hospital pal, I had actually gone there to have a mole removed from my manhood, it was really painful and I will not be having sex with ome of those bloody animals ever again.
