“An economic-impact assessment prepared for the government’s Illegal Migration Bill estimated that removing each individual to a third country, such as Rwanda, would cost £63,000 more than keeping them in the UK”.

I thought the current agreement was to send 100. The current cost of the policy to the taxpayer is 140 million and nobody has been sent to Rwanda.

You want Braverman to be the leader. Tel me what has she achieved as Home Secretary?

So are you saying that you would rather keep them here Heath???, there would be an endless number of them coming over if that would be you idea, there are millions of the lazy tossers herealready, why don’t you put a few of them in your spare rooms????

Another failure today with the stopping the boats, after giving Rwanda £140 million, we still have not sent one of these illegal’s anywhere. mind this sum of money is spent every two weeks keeping the dossers in nice hotels and meals etc, and it will get worse whilst stupid Rsoles are holding up welcome signs and giving parcels to them. As I said “the country is knackered” and my pity is for our young generation who have never lived in the good times of the 1960 to 2000, the poor sods will struggle threough their lives, throufg no fault of their own.

Where did I say that they should stay in charge????, when I voted at the last election, Boris Johnson was in charge, and after a while he became to be rubbish, but at least he tried to solve things until he turned out to be a clown, but this present guy talks a good story, but his talk never gets any futher than his mouth, nothing ever gets actioned or put into action.

Our country is wrecked, and is no longer in control of any problem, the trouble is who ever gets to be in Government will not action anything either, there was a time when it was a respected country and good for its people to live in, but you must admit that is not the case, and can anyone think that it will ever change?????????????????

The thing is that what Miss Braverman is saying is the truth of the situation, the present PM has not done anything that the Goernment should be doing, our shores are being over run by illegal drop outs, that are costing probably over £10 million a day, his we will stop the boats is a load of government shite, our food is costing a fortune and there is no control, mortgage rates are making it impossible for our people to pay and nothing is done by the Goverment, peoples wages are making it impossible to meet the presenmt requirements to live, crime and these stupid protests support of Hamas and stop oil are causing havock, and nothing is done to stop them. Yes it is bad in Gaza, but what the hell can we do about it???, strikes by railway and Doctors have gone on endlessly, seeing a Doctor of Dentist is waiting to win the lottery, and if you need urgently to have Hospital treatment you might have to wait a year or more. She is correct in what she is dsaying, but it is the old old story, do not speak your mind, even though most Brits feelit is happening, I hope that she gets the job of party leader.

Well have you ever seen 3 points thrown away like tonights game, Scunny must have had 75% of the play, be it far too many back passes, but only missed one open goal during the full second half, Kings Lynn clearly showed why they are a bottom five team, and were there for the taking.

I watched the match on the Kings Lynn streaming, which had no commentry for the full game, I tried listening it at the same time on RH but there was a bloody 12 second time difference, which made it impossible. Scunny passed them off the pitch, but KL scored with their only 3 cgances.

It is going to be a hard slog this season if they cannot put a poor team like tonights away, iit makes thing worse with most other top teams getting wins and we have slipped to 3rd, and really showed that we are lacking in a centre forward, Whithead is just not good enough.

So it is Darlington at home on Saturday in the Cup game, and should get back to winning eways as they lost 8-0 tonight and are rock bottom of the league. A very poor night, and not good watching Streaming with no commentry, how the hell they can charge £10 for that is a bloody cheek.

Not the best match of the season, but a 6-0, 6-1 and a 2-0 over the past 11 days and a 2-0 win today, our fans must be really happy surely!!!

In fact with South sheils, Tamworth, Alfreton, Chester all losing, and Scunny going 2 points clear at the top of the league, it can be put down as a great day.

I had forcast a 4-0 win, but are happy with 2-0, and with the team only conseeding 1 goal in our past 4 matches, I am looking forward to watching Tuesdays game on NLN Streaming.

I forcast the attendance of 4,180, but the report states over 4,000, I am interested in what the actual figure is, my best this season was 12 out ha ha!

Well done to the players, the management and of course the supporters.

I must admit that I am really disappointed that only Iron-Awe has attacked me, he is correct in saying that I live in the past, yes those were the times when we could afford to eat well, have a new house built when still in our early twenties, enjoy our jobs, easily pay our mortgages and elect / gas bills, enjoy our spare time without looking at a tv, lapton, notebook or telephone in our faces 15 hours a day, have a nice car with petrol being 25 litrs for £1, and not having 400,000 imigrants entering our shores per year, with 45,000 paying crooks to bring them to our shores, and our tax payers keeping 65,000 of them in hotels at a cost of over £8 million per day. Yes Iron-Awe they were the days, and there were no protests marching in masses for the likes of Hammas, lets see what bile that brings back from you I-A.

The thing is with Cruella Braverman, that she has the guts to speak her mind, and although most of the time it is exactly what most people also think, it is blown out of all propotion by the do gooders of this country, exactly the same as if anyone on this forum has a different opinion to a certain few so called do gooders they get slagged off and called really bad names which just show themselves for what they really are.

Her real mistake is that it would probably be better if she kept her opinions to herself, she is a bit like lmyself, because the do gooders are always right in their opinion, and others are bigots, idiots or racists, that is how Britain is these sad days.
The protesters would probably be better marching for the 1,400 poor devils that were slaughtered by Hammas animals whilst attending a music festival, or the 200 that are being held captive by these animals, just think of the suffering they and their relatives are going through.

Yes it looks like being another 3 points in the bag, but it does not always happen that way.
But surely the way that our lads are playing, I cannot see any other outcome, they are now on top of their game, and playing some very good football.

I am looking for a 4-0 win in a game that probably should be more, I am hoping that the guys pepper the Gloucester goal, and shoot on site, it should be a good match for our fans to witness.

I would think that the attendance should be between 4,100 and 4,250, so lets go for 4,180.

Good look and enjoy the game you fans.

A great watch, easily the best away performance of the season, more please.
A slight criticism, if I’m allowed, I thought we missed a fair few shooting opportunities around the edge of the box, need to be a bit braver. (said Neil Cox)
Kelly played RB when Ogle was injured earlier, although he’s a leftie I still think he’s better than Barrows.

No Cass, if Cox had made that comment it would have been (really, really must be braveer)

I viewed the match on NLN streaming, and really enjoyed the game, the way Scunthorpe played Banbury off the park with some really very good passing throughout, and two brilliant 25 yard goals.

The commentators were also good to listen to, and what a change to have a first class ref, he got everything right all the time. Really, the score could easily have been 4 or 5 n. iThe only downer for myself was the constant throwing himseft to the floor was our centre forward who did this every time the ball came near him, he should have been booked for that, probably that was the only mistake the ref made, if he spent more time playing fooyball instead of looking for free kicks all the time he would be worth being selected.

A following of 220 Scunny fans out of a crowd of 900 should be praised for going all the way to Bedfordshire, and making themseles heard throughout, well done guys.

Bad news afterwards is that Ogle has fractured his collar bone and he will be badly missed, hope he gets fit soon.

Another way of sorting this mess out is to dedicate a piece of land that the Gaza population could call their own country, not as the present time which has 2 million people living on a strip of land that is 20 miles long and 2 miles wide, how the hell can that be realistic. This should be decided at International level and Israel informed is the case, stop the bombing and also to returm all the hostages.

IT IS SIMPLE IF THE UN DID SOMETHING THAT WOULD GET RESULTS.

Over 10,000 reported dead in Gaza now, no amount of political posturing on this conflict can change the cold hard facts of the human tragedy unfolding before the eyes of the world.

Yes bigot, but you forgot to mention that it is because these murdering Hammas animals started it all, give ius the full facts bigot instead of joing the activity half way through!!!

Yes it is a terrible mess out there, and sadly it will probably get a lpt worse. So no country or their leaders can solve this issue, so there is no point in us trying or even suggesting what to do. Yes this endless bombing and killing is terrible, but I cannot forget the fact that it started with Hammas killers going into Istael and slaughtering anyone in sight, and just think that if your child was attending a music festival and had been slaughtered, that sticks in my mind when talking about this happening, I cannot see it any other way.
Anyway there is no point in anyone commenting any more, so that is my final post on the subject, I just ondonhope it stops very soon, at the same time knowing it won’t. I await to see what happens with the London Silly Protest next Saturday, no doubt more people will get either injured or possibly killed,

Must be difficult for you JI having family out there, being a Christian yet watching children getting murdered daily, peace be with you.

Yes I agree with your statement, it is terrible, but would you not aslo agree that is was worse for people that had their grown up kids murdered when attending a music festival !!, many of whome were shot dead along with families murdered or kidnpped by these Hammas bas£££ds, and kids beheaded by thwm, why do you think that this should just be ignored????, and to let them regroup and do it again, you are actually agreeing with them by what you are saying, this war would not be ongoing if these animals had not started it, YERS HAMMAS STARTED IT BY MURDERING OVER 1,200 iSRAELIANS THAT WERE IN THEIR OWN COUNTRY.

It was a very good day all round for Scunny, last week we were 5 points adrift of Tanworth from the same games played, tonight we are 4 points behind with a game in hand, yes Sheilds won, but we will overtake them if we win our game in hand, also Buxton lost and Spennymoor only drew, so a good day all round.
We must go for the three points on Tuesday nihjt and that will make it a very good week.

Every one has their own views on this pointless war, but it would not be ongoing if Hammas had not invaded Israel and killed 1,200 in cold blood, and also took over 220 captive and just think what these poor sods are going through right now. So please tell me, what is Israel supposed to do, just walk away and wait until these murdering animals come back and do the same again??????

I appreciate that you do gooders feel that you should always support the bad people, but please accept the views of those that condemn the criminals and the wrong doers, thats life and it will never change.

More distressing by the day, Israel chasing down Hamas and innocent Palestinians, wives, husbands, children, grandparents dying in the process. Surely this can’t go on, this isn’t an eye for an eye or anything of the sort, it’s murder.

Agree Iron-Awe, it is murder, but what would you call the way Hammas started this when they went over the border and shot, everyone on site, women, men, children and babies, certainly same or worse because they had no reason to do so, and what about the 240 people taken as hostages by Hammas, can you imagin what their lives are like, captured by those animals, agree it is very, very sad, but Hammas must be eliminated for their actions, and protests that support them in our country that support Hammas must be disbanded, just like these stupid pricks that sit on motor ways with their Stop Oil protests, a tottal bunch of idiots.,

I completely agree with what Heath says, there should be a short ceasfire of maybe four days, and tell these murdewring Hammas animals to set free all the hostages, and that random bombing will stop.

There seems to be a lot of support in London for the bombing to stop, but it must not be forgotten that it was Hammas that started all this, by invading the border and murdering men, women and kids, 240 of them that were attending a festival, even babies were found that had been beheaded, and these are the animals that are being supported by the London people!!!!!!.

This war could easily become a very long and large war, and many counyries cannot keep out of involvement, actually Hammas have done exactly what Russia have done so why are there no big London protesting marches giving support to Russia???

This present war and the death of inocent people is terrible, but what way can be used to stop these murdering Hammas animals doing the same thing again??. This will happen in England in the not to distant future, with no control of our boarders any more, and good and also evil illegals coming in droves to live in hotels at tax payers cost, this country has lost it’s grip on happenings.

I just hope for some end to this war, but like many Muslem countries, it goes on year after year, and never ends, very sad but that is a fact !!!!

After watching the game on my computer, in my opinion it was a lucky point gained, simply because Boston were easily the better team on the night, and had many more chances to have won the game maybe 3-1.
I know that Scunny scored the first goal, but what other chances did they create, on the night Boston were a lot quicker on the ball, Scunny gave away countless balls throughout the match, and deserved the three points. How can a team play like they did in last weeks two matches, and then put in a performance like tonight, this was a match were we should have gone for the three points, but being true, we were lucky to get one. Lets get back to winning ways on Saturday, and with Tamworth playing third in the league South Sheilds, we have a chance to gain ground, but six away games without an away win in this league is not automatic form is it???

I think that the attebdances that the club are getting this season are really good for a team playing in National League North, the club have lost many regular fans over the past six or seven years, mainly due to very poor results and the lack of entertaining football, add to that the Swann facter.

When the club were in League 1 and 2, as stated above, many away teams supporters filled the railway end section, in this league there is usually under 100, so actually the home fans are doing a great job in sticking with their team. I cannot see the club increasing present crowd levels, yes it is easy to say give tickets away free, but that does not put money into the club, and only a handfull will return when having to pay.
I would think that a few hundred have returned to GP, simply because they have been bored to death with previous boring years, and that the team are actually winning games and scoring goals.

I do not know what propotion of the £11-99 fee from watching each game on Streaming, but the club could surely add to their funds if they advertised Live Streaming access like the Speedway promotion do. I have never seen any reference to Streaming on the Scunthorpe web site.

But as stated, get the team out of this League, and more fans will return.

Another way is to give leaflets to schools , for each kid to take home, use the Railway End of GP for kids free if accompanied by a £10 paying Parent, this has been used in the past, but for only one game per season, and it worked a treat, and with just the present few away fans, they can be relocated into the SE corner of the SE corner of yje East stand.

Can’t see any of the fringe players leaving, Who is going to take their contracts off our hands.

We could potentially get a fee for Fitzsimmons, Ogle, Whitehall to start with. Send the loan lads back if we are paying some of their wages and potentially another midfielder.

Cliff, you are suggesting that some of our better players are to leave, surely it will be better to offload players that are not good enough to get into the starting eleven like Pugh and Chapman etc, and I am not sure if he is still at the club, but if he is surely Mussa would be no big loss, but surely the players you listed will be needed for this season s fight for promotion, which must be the clubs aim, and also requirement for the National League next season.
Wouldn’t be popular but I don’t see how the squad is anywhere near sustainable.

I am now a lot more comfortable with things now that we have got back some of the better players from injury, and a change in results for the better is expected by me.

    I am also going for a 4 – 0 win.
And a good crowd of 4,229 should be at the game.

We need a few wins on the trot to catch up and put a bit of pressire on Tamworth, who are now five points above us, we need to get out of this leauge this season.

What a good game for the supporters and all concerned tonight, this result was not like I thought would happen, and the turnround of the performance from Sayurday was great to see. I only watched the match on NLN coverage on my computer, but really enjoyed it, Butterfield, Seales, Smith and Clunan were outstanding and the rest of the team played how a team with players of the Scunthorpe squad standard should be playing most games. Tamqorth are still 5 points clear of Scunny from the same games, and we need to catch them over the next few weeks, as only one club get automatic promotion, but if the lads play like today they will come through.

I cannot think back over my 70 years following Scunny when six class goals ever happened, 4 of them being scored fron 25 yards or over, some really cracking goals!!!!.

So can we get another performance like tonights on Saturday, lets hope so. By the way, is Jimmy back in the dug out ???, bet he enjoyed this game after his spell in hospital.

Well done everyone, and good luck to our new boss Michelle and her board members.

i have a feeling that the team are slipping up right now, and according to some reports, a few players are not puuting a lot of effort into their performances.
So although the team tend to play better in home games (apart from the Buxton match), I am going for a forcast of:-
    SCUNTHORPE 0 SPENNYMOOR 2.

3,743 ATTENDANCE Reflected by the poor showing on Saturday.

These two home matches this week could well be a big pointer on what chances they have on getting out of this League, six points and a lot more fight from some players would be welcome to our long suffering fans.
