How can you have a fans rep from south London at a northern club?

Something is so very wrong within the club, You can blame Swann (rightly so)
But it’s not only Swann IMO the only person that is doing his job is Lee! He is bending over backwards to get the club moving forward.Unfortunately I think he has very little to do with the playing and coaching staff as that appears to be all Hill, and again unfortunately Hill is not capable of getting us out of the shit show it has become with a win rate of
7% winning three games out of 39, so in nearly a full season his team would have around 20 points.I know at the beginning it wasn’t his players but he was allowed to bring in players in January and again in the summer, so by now we should be seeing a improvement in results but things just seem to lurch from one disastrous display to an even worse one,
Yesterday even though we were 3-0 up we were still getting outplayed and at no point did you think we will win this game, once they scored it was only a matter of time and the second half nothing can be said as it was just embarrassing.
I know Solihull were and are a very good side but just how far ahead of us they are in terms of ability, tactically and the shear will to win no matter what was unbelievable, so IMO Hill as to GO not after ten games as this will just compound the matter but now wether he is sacked or leaves for another club.

Think it would be a bigger risk playing nlthe against him as he is still coming back from injury, Daniel would get roasted, we could go with Rowe but he is very right sided and Sbara likes to go outside his marker not cut across him.
Then again last season we worked on stopping Matt jay from Exeter and we all know what happened that day! So think we should just play our own game against a very good side and hope they have an off day or we play at the level these players are capable of.
They had a tricky right winger last in Sbara not sure if he still there but if he is Mason will definitely need some help if he plays
Nothing will happen while Swann is still the owner that’s why I said we need to get rid of both, the talk of take over has disappeared once again but I can’t understand why someone can’t just say yes this take over is happening but it will take time at least the supporters will have a glimmer of hope.
When Oldham were talking to new owners it was made public so the supporters were aware of what was happening and got right behind it and it lifted the mood around the club even though they were relegated.
Is this talk of a take over Swann and Hill just taking the piss and it’s just a plan to ruin the club between them as it certainly seems that way.

The man we need is commentating (Adkins) get this take over sorted then give him what he wants, or else we will slide into oblivion and it’s only 3 games in but this is very worrying.

Agree well done to everyone for a great performance and day yesterday, but one thing is concerning me that is the bench! We need some more experience on there because if any of the starting 11 gets injured it is Rowe carver and3 youth lads with very little experience.
thought nuttall had a good game! he is not going to score you 25 goals as he is not that sort of front man, but he is finally starting winning headers and holding up the ball he also did especially well in tracking back and heading away in his own box and the crowd showed their appreciation when he was substituted

Tony Macmahon looks as fit if not fitter then the squad and could probably play 90 mins anytime, he also led the squad in all the preseason runs.
Got to say what I have seen of Dewhurst he is as good as if not better then Rory, he definitely commands his area better the Rory, The fitness of some players is still a big question mark especially Hallam.
I remember Klopp saying about Sturridge in his early time at Liverpool “that there are injuries that stop you plying and there are injuries that stop your Brain thinking you can play with injuries” wether this is the case with Jordan don’t know but he has to surely make a decision soon on his career.
If he can’t be available to play more then half the games this season there has to be a big question make about his football career has there is no way someone will give him a contract even at semi pro level.
Sick of hearing this guys name can we just move on and forget him and let him be someone’s else’s problem.
It was plain to see that if we had gone into the season with the squad of youngsters we had early in preseason we would have been doomed before we even had kicked a ball.
The players we added will bring experience and still have something to offer especially guiding the young players in their first full season of professional football, can’t see us threatening the top places but hopefully we can get in and around the lower play of spots.
The National league is still a good standard with very experienced players in there, it will be a scrap at times with the likes of dorking, Woking and Maidenhead being difficult places to go, but then you have lots of ex league clubs in Wrexham,Oldham,Chesterfield,Notts County and York city.
York will be an interesting one, they will have big support and are on a roll from last season and will be playing in a brand new stadium so look forward to going there! All in all it’s is going to be a roller coaster of a season.
Think Tony is happy turning up to work everyday with very little pressure on his shoulders, he and his group of coaches does and has done a very good job for us producing players that can contend for the first team.
Admittedly at the minute the youngsters are getting more chances with the position the club is in but they are showing a good understanding of what is needed to be a professional footballers! And i’am sure three or four have good chance of making it.
Would have both back, burns signed a new extended contract and is scoring regularly for the u23’s at blackburn.

No sign of Marcus Barnes last night, looks like he is not around any more or maybe got the injury voodoo.
Thanks MK! He definitely had something about him reminded of a young Grealish, wanted to be on the ball happy to take on more experienced players and was iMO the best player on the pitch first half, faded second half but young players will do that.
Don’t think he is ready to play full games straight away for a team but would be good to have around coming off the bench when teams are getting tired, so like I say I would be having a phone call they can only say no at the worst.
Peterborough’s no24 looked good especially first half, think would be worth an enquiry from us.
Got to admit it took me a long time to realise Mr Swann had to go, but I just want him to leave ASAP now so we can to the club moving forward after 4 seasons of going backwards.

Glad he said he wanted out completely flats being built or not! Just hope the fit and proper goes through asap to put this to bed once and for all we can move on then.

Fleming played in the second half on Saturday and he looked way off the playing in the first team, not saying he is not good enough but he needs time to to build up his strength and muscle mass it just to soon for him.
Can’t comment on poulter as I haven’t seen him play but he appears to know where the goal is, he could be brought into the squad to get experience but again think it would be to soon for him to play.
So sad to hear fellow supporters of our once proud and well run club writing these posts, but the last 4 seasons have been an absolute nightmare and at times seemed never ending.
But if the rumours are correct by Thursday the club might be in a lot better place, it appeared to be heading in the right direction on the pitch yesterday especially in the first half.
Yes we finished the game hanging on but by that time we had a team almost completely made up of very young players and let’s not forget sheff Utd bought 70 million pounds worth of players with early all being full international players.
When I left the ground yesterday i for the first time in a very long time was feeling a lot more positive about the way the club was going, lee, Keith and all the staff at the club are working very hard and it is slowly beginning to become like it was and i’am looking forward more to attending games.
I can’t make Tuesdays game as I have a family occasion but will be keeping an eye on the game which should give us a more realistic idea of where we are going into the new season.
They had a shop/cafe in Barton but it closed during the covid restrictions, there was a van as well but not sure if that is still around
All in all given our recent trials and tribulations this week is encouraging, three in one with bags of experience in Colin Daniel and another in Jacob butterfield that would give us more experience if his trial works out thumbs up to the club this week.
Captain We are desperate for Swann to go and help us change the direction of our once proud and punching Above our weight little club, it has taken 4 seasons for us to get where we are and won’t change overnight even if we are sold tomorrow.
I’am a football supporter who supports Scunthorpe United! But I will go watch any local team and went to Grimsby with my mate at least 5 times last season, you could feel the change in attitude within the club from the very first time i attended blunder park.(sorry had to get that one in)
Grimsby have moved forward so quickly since fenty went it is unbelievable and your new owners should be applauded, this was done on the pitch last season and is being done again with the supporters buying season tickets.
You have shown us what can be done in a short space of time, but to be fair to the new acting chairman at Scunny the club is trying to move us forward but with their hands tied behind they back it is nearly impossible in the short term.
Long term hopefully we can get a new owner or owners! I do however hope like Grimsby they are local and have the club at their heart and not a owner like Swann became who lost complete interest once things got tough.
I will always support scunny but will still try to attend a few games at Grimsby with my mate and hopefully we will renew our rivalry on the pitch very soon, this season is one he need to battle through and just survive then hopefully we will be in a better place to move forward after that.
Looked through all the pictures and Mr Taft doesn’t appear to be on any of them rumoured to be on Grimsby’s wish list! The Taft let first came on loan was a great prospect but the Taft from last season I would gladly drive him to Grimsby myself.

Think the one that went to barrow was Zanzala he has just had his contract cancelled by mutual consent.
Just seen the new Walsall kit think they have our sponsor on it! They have been sponsored by Poundland, isn’t that where we are getting our players from.

Shame he got injured just as he was starting to to look useful, that’s the last two Scottish imports that have failed so think that should tell us something.
Jai is obviously going to be first choice now and frees up cash for the squad rebuild, thanks for your effort Ross hope you do well back home.
Just to add a bit of fuel to the fire Taft is on holiday with macatee and a few of the Grimsby players, not sure who there though
