At last we seem to have a midfield that can compete, beestin, spence, eisa and gillead are the best we have had since the morris, Holmes, adelakun and bishop midfield?
Along with a goalkeeper and defence actually defending properly (oniarise, Clarke, mcgahey and O’Malley were outstanding yesterday) and one that’s dealing with the ball foremost and not over playing we seem to be on the right track at last.

Couldn’t understand why Elisa and gillead didn’t swap wings when Elisa was in their right backs pocket.

Like you say scorpion unless your the best of the best young players need an experienced players to be on the pitch with them, one thing that really helps all young players are talkers, helping guide and position help on the pitch.

This result shows we have the players and 1’am Really pleased for everyone at the club! Hopefully our injuries and Covid problems are behind us and we can push on.
I know one result doesn’t make a season but it’s a very tiny step today, If Jordan Clarke, junior brown, Harrison McGahey, Jordan Hallam and Kevin van veen can stay fit we have a great spine to the team.
I also think in Alfie Beestin, and Jake Taylor we have two potentially very good midfielders, (I thought Alfie was M.O.M) another decent performance on Tuesday and things suddenly start to look a lot better.

For the first time in 45 years I have lost interest in the club I have supported since I was 7 years old, (I know they need my support and I did purchase a season ticket) And like most people on this site I have seen the ups and the downs of the club.
I have been there through Applying for re-election, winning promotion, getting relegated And four Wembley visits but never before have I seen the teams put out by The club as they have this season that looks totally uninterested as the one we have now with the exception of 2 or 3 players.
We also seem to take highly rated players and make them look useless by playing them out of position or not playing them at all, all in all our club as gone backwards in such style that no one would be surprised (and many are backing us) to get relegated to the conference.
The club needs new blood from the very top to the very bottom! Which in these very uncertain is very nearly impossible.
I don’t believe sacking people every season is right but the are times when certain people are not capable of doing the job they are given, Wether that’s the chairman, manager, coaches, or players something has to change ASAP or the very real prospect of non league football will be reality.
I would love The staff at the club to reignite my interest and passion for it and I will gladly without hesitation hold my hands up and say I was wrong, So please, please Make me regret writing this post and if I do I will be as they say over the moon.

If that figure is true it makes you wonder what is in the heads of these young footballers! Yes they train hard and have a short career, but they are doing a job that most young kids only dream about.
this path has been trod many times by young man who have got everything and more of what they need with none of the stress of the real working world, hopefully this situation can be sorted and Ryan can fulfill his potential at another club.

I have been told the money freed up by Ryan leaving is funding three new players, two in already and as cox has said hopefully the other one Is imminent, if this is true Ryan most have been on a very good wage.

Said this before that Rory will be a good keeper ! But at this time with a young inexperienced defence (until junior and hopefully very soon Jordan gets fit) we need a keeper that can be vocal, organise and basically give the defenders ear bashing.
Hopefully Rory can work with mark In training and learn from his experience Plus this also gives Rory the competition he hasn’t had until now, also hope he doesn’t sulk if Mark gets in the straight away but work hard and tries to regain his place.

We need and needed for three years now a strong central midfield partnership a keeper a left and right back, We get overrun in midfield no matter what formation we play. The keeper has 1 good game every 5/6 games meaning we need to score at least 2 goals most games just to get a point, hopefully junior brown and Jordan Clarke (if he can get fit) will get up to match fitness ASAP as we really need their experience. There are still plenty of out of contract players out there but money as with all clubs will determine our season if we don’t get experience ASAP it will be Yeovil, Woking ETC,ETC NEXT SEASON.

My nephew is a Rotherham supporter and said haks was just beginning to show some real form before the shut down of the last season.
Hopefully if he gets a full season at hull he can rebuild his career and finally show the talent he undoubtedly has upto now we have only seen this talent occasionally

I have been to both speedway meetings in Scunthorpe now Northumbiron where 600 spectators were allowed to attend and upto today I have not been notified of any cases of Covid.
As we have around that amount of season ticket holders I personally think the risk is minimal, we will be told to wear masks and stay in our seats as much as possible.
We should IMO Also be allowed to bring in our own food and drink As long as you take away your rubbish after the game, follow social distancing and generally try to keep apart as much as possible I believe we would be ok.
And If we are allowed back to games it is still a personal choice if you attend or do not attend games.

If you attended the speedway today Barton did you read the program notes of Nigel Pearson? These notes were very forthright and to the point basically saying that it should be now down to personal choice if we attend any sporting venues.
I agree with Nigel on this as we have this stupid situation where you can buy food and drink and sit and talk for hours at a pub or restaurant but At sporting venues you cannot have any elite sport going on while your there doing the same thing as you would at a pub or restaurant.
Surely you are at less risk at a sporting venue in the open as you would be in an enclosed pub, I know we are all going through very difficult times but it is a proven fact that sport participation and supporting a team at your chosen sport gives everyone a boost and helps the local economy.
So as mr Pearson says personal Choice should now be the reason you attend or don’t attend sporting venues and let’s try to get back to some sort of normality

Matt was by far and away the most gifted striker we had at the time, if you saw him in training he would score goals that you would think you should be in the premier league mate.
But for one reason or another he never carried his training ground ability on to the pitch for us, the main one IMO was he was home sick. he was born in Canterbury so when he went to ebbsfleet he was near home relaxed and flourished then once he was that little bit older he was able to move a to other clubs and be more settled.

Charlie was a victim of the over paid over rated mccardle, I said Charlie got the Shitty end of the stick and he should have stayed and mccardle should have gone. Even when mccardle started to play better Charlie was the better prospect, and as Many have said on here once a manager trusted him, believed in him and played him he flourished. so good luck to him Going to a club that is looking up and moving to a fantastic new stadium.

Not sure who is playing at centre back with Jacob! Unless it’s 3-5-2 with Rowe and butroid plying left and right of him.

I think they are keeping these games quiet as they don’t want to supporters turning up, also I would think if there is any planned they will be against localise league clubs not semi professional clubs like Barton, brigg, winterton as these clubs are not testing weekly for Covid 19.
