What happened to kids 5 a side at half time? Think pole to goal has run its course.

Reminds me of Hakeeb. Obvious talent but seldom seen. Difficult for any manager to get total performance every week out of these players.

In Cox’s defence he took over a cobbled together squad and had to somehow make a purse out of a sows ear. Took a while and a more experienced manager would have struggled.
As someone else posted the “spine”is looking more solid and confidence building as a consequence.
The headless chickens of a few games ago are benefitting from the experienced pros recently signed.
Some of whom have improved considerably, Loft a prime example.

As Cox couldnt sign anyone until January, dont see how he could change much. Surely had to play the hand he was dealt with…

Any other game we would have had it won by half time. Very unlucky. Still a big improvement on early season…

I really do wonder if you actually read what people write, or just reply based upon your own preconceptions.

Who the hell is moaning? I’m not, I was jumping around the room at 3:00pm (much to the bemusement of the wife). But if you think we have the depth of quality in the squad that we need to get into the top half of the table then you’re wearing the rose-tinteds

Likewise if Howard, Onarise and probably others are out for any period. As proven in the early part of the season when the young lads were getting overrun. This is Scunny. Keeping the core squad fit is key. Never gone have ready made replacements for every position of the same quality.

Au contraire Rodney! There were saying we had a shite squad.

As alluded to earlier if Beestin and Spence are out for any length of time then the engine is broken. Hippolyte in for an injured Eisa? No thanks.

Think the record is broken. Glass half full fella. Keep the faith!

Have great sympathy for Cox, a squad that has been mainly signed before his arrival, hardly any league experience for the majority, players and staff affected by Covid, no doubt wages restricted by lack of paying spectators as well as most experienced players injured. Not a good hand to be dealt is it?
Exeter commentators echoed this during yesterdays game and were complimentary of the teams efforts. Ok, it wasnt perfect but IMO there was signs of improvement. Brown and others will surely help when fit.

Think there’s a reality check needed here. Attacking play comes from confidence and the ability to get in the opposition half, hopefully the penalty box and then create chances. So, to achieve that basically we have to be better man for man than the opposition. With a team of mainly under 23’s, inexperienced manager, and on the back of an awful 2/3 seasons lets take little wins. Judge after 10 games.
