I think this game is a free hit for Neil and his team . I do expect to see a greatly improved performance but after this game and for the rest of the season we have to I repeat have to start winning football matches. I’m not saying we should not be attempting to win today because we should I’m just saying after last week a vast improvement needs to be on view.

It’s the fans fault for not attending because you can’t run a football League club on less than 3 thousand crowd’s. Less than 3K he keeps Cox in charge and we become non league. More than 3k and we keep losing then he would have to replace Neil. What a f’ing mess we are in.

I would also go along with this. The turnstile operator’s would have to be onboard as well or we might not get in. Which may or may not be a bad thing.
Cox his staff and players should he made to walk home from Harrogate. Then keep on walking with the person who’s the real reason behind this shambles.

When our own players were in the team/squad there seemed to have been a togetherness and a certain amount of commitment. Since the loanee players have come in that’s gone. What does this tell you Scunthorpe Nil hierarchy.for God sake sort this mess out before it’s too late.
Only another 43 points needed for safety, where the hell are we going to get them. The only way is up supporting Scunthorpe Nil or is it?.
It’s the English national league. Were not that bad just ask your near neighbors only you’ll not be playing them there replacing you in the EFL.
Why has he got enough money to buy the club. If only.
Let’s do it. We’ll need more to attend tho.
Were doomed aye were doomed.
Whilst I understand what your saying B S my view would be for more people to attend and make their feelings known. It’s ok a few Youngsters chanting but The hierarchy won’t be bothered by it. There again if they have stopped attending protest’s would just fall on deaf ears. Having said all that I do believe the players do need our support it’s not their fault.
Huffed and puffed but basically got nowhere. Only time we put decent balls into the box was when Jarvis went off so no height to challenge for them. Beestin wasted out wide, get him back central with Pugh for God sake.

Why don’t we try a new tactic and Attack Attack ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK.

If the boot was on the other foot and we were two down would we come back to take a point,of course not. For Christ sake the best form of defense is attack get the ball down the other end they can’t score then. You’d think our management team hadn’t played a game of professional football between them.

Best team at G P this season by far.
We was promised fast flowing attacking football at G.P. well we got it yesterday from Exeter.
Sorry Neil/Mark but it’s time to go. Maybe not the only ones either.1 user thanked author for this post.
Reply to OP Exeter, far and away better than us.
I’d take more of the same as our last home game but maybe let’s take more of our chances. Come on you Iron.
September 5, 2021 at 10:52 am in reply to: At what point do we consider the manager is the problem? #213222I have not been one to criticise Cox too much but surely yesterday’s team selection could go some way to wreck the togetherness that was starting to show. iMO the two new loaners should have been on the bench as best. I hope it’s not in the agreements that they have to play.
The McMahon effect on this one I suspect.
I’m with you on this one WG because that’s my understanding as well. We could also be trying to say get someone like Jessop out on loan for gametime/experience.
So true about the possession Tash but if that game had finished in a 5-0 win it would have been fairer on the chances created and that with so little possession. We’ve had much more of the ball in the past and not managed to create anything. M.O.M. was Joe Murphy by a country mile.
It was a game we could have easily won and there again could have easily lost. Watson for me M.O.M two or three excellent saves first half. A draw was probably the fair result. Scrimshaw looks like the forward we have been crying out for especially playing off Loft when Lofty is fit again.
Ref again a complete joke.It looks like a very youthful bench
Congratulations Rory a clean sheet on your landmark 100th career appearance, here’s to many more.

Wasnt he at Southend.
It certainly was not Rory Watson’s fault we lost. All three goals came from our mistakes, a penalty conceded by a player who should have been substituted if he wasn’t fit to carry on at half-time.the second and third goals mistakes by young Pugh. Which was a shame because he had a really good first half. But let’s all blame Rory the easy target.

Thanks Matt fixtures are now showing. If there is only 16 entered I might get my highest finish ever. No but joking aside come on people give it a go and let’s support Matt for all his efforts running this site.
