If you don’t care Alcy why not drift off into the sunset? Instead of repeating the same old same old, we no where your coming from and there’s no coming back for you until swanny leaves.

I’m as entitled to my opinion as anyone, you included.
Opinions are like arseholes, we’ve all got one.
If you don’t like mine, you can jog on.
You don’t have to read it.

I suspect, given the diminishing number of supporters through the turnstiles, I’m not the only one had enough of the fat man.

That would be one way of covering the losses!

This comment was not intended to imply anything inappropriate was taking place.

Remember O’Leary was odds on and didn’t get the job, so the odds can be misleading.

    Coward😅😅😅😅

    Realistically?
    Waste of time and money.
We KNOW who makes the decisions, whose club it is.
Let him do it…and stand or fall by it.
    I’m past caring.

It’s all pretty much academic, though, isn’t it?

Players now are so much more entitled. They seem to do as they please, not following the manager’s instructions.
Then, when sonething upsets them, they sulk and stop trying. There’s more than one manager lost his job because the players played to “get rid”. The HEIGHT of dishonesty, but there you go.

Face it guys, we could resurrect Cloughy, Alf Ramsey and Matt Busby and they still couldnt keep this lot up.
    Down by Christmas.

We need to start updating our satnavs for non-league destinations.

No chance. He took over FGR on an interim basis with the club doing really well – great team spirit and competent players – so something to work with. Here we have a hotchpotch of players from the average to the downright should never play football again even in their backyard types. Throw into the mix a disinterested chairman and we should not be anywhere near JB (nothing against him but it won’t work)

Sooooo… quite likely to happen then?

I’d put that option down in the “cheap route” column.

So quite likely to happen, then?

What’s the bet neither get the chance, are allowed to go elsewhere and star there?
There is something or someone seriously wrong at the club and this wastage epitomises it.

My £10 is already on us for relegation.
I don’t care if there’s a second coming and JC takes the job.
We’ll need more than one miracle to avoid the drop.

As for Cox – I have little sympathy for him because he knew what he was letting himself in for when he came.

That said, he can’t be blamed for our league position.

Cox has played the cards Swann has dealt him – full stop. Whether he played them badly is irrelevant – it was a crap hand and he simply couldn’t win.

    Well, maybe.
But if you are aware that your opponents ALSO have a crap hand, and you still insist on folding… whose fault is that?
When I played three card brag at John Leggott so many years ago, I won a fair few crap hands by bluffing.

For me, he’d be a fool to come back here.
He has nothing to prove to us.
But failure here…and does ANYONE really think that any manager could make anything of the dog’s breakfast Swann has created at this club, failure here will surely tarnish his legacy.
    Stay away Nige.
You DO NOT want to work for this idiot.

Who the hell is Chris Beech?

Probably one of Will Swann’s buddies from playing football manager online.
    Loads of experience….not.

Watch out Velma, Shaggy is right behind you unbuckling his pants. 😲

But look…Scrappy doo has beaten him to it….

    NI said:
“Instead of starting low and aiming high Swann has done the opposite. And after falling out with the local council a “community stadium” in Scunthorpe is not very likely.

Get your thinking cap on Peter”

But that would necessitate him admitting he was wrong, out of order, and mending bridges with NLC etc.

Ain’t gonna happen…the man’s ego will prevent it.

Can’t disagree with any of the above.
I do think another exit onto the now downgraded M181 is a non starter, since it would require another roundabout….unless they envisage it being one way only.
And looking at the retail park opposite, that is still appallingly laid out, has only one access road and regularly gridlocks…and has been so for over ten years. Despite the landowner snd NLC both having been approached regularly.
Last comment: under normal circumstances Swann would look to sell his vision, aspirations etc via the local press.
Sadly, Mastermind has fallen out with anyone and everyone that could have been a help.

But hey, he’s an astute businessman, he knows what he’s doing.

Back to five at the back with the predictable result.
Cox needs to be gone now.
    To stay is dishonest… he’s stealing a wage.😠

    Some amusing posts here.
BS thinks Cox might really go for the three points….aye, right, and I might start trusting Swanny😅😅😅

And CBRP thinks Cox might resist disrupting a side, leaving out his favourites.😅😅😅

They should be talking about developing already well established football grounds, there must be thousands here that could do with government grants to improve them. Then after the World Cup they could let them just keep the upgrades.

I might be dreaming or even barking up the wrong tree. Never mind…

We’ve been there and done that…but only for a favoured London club

Was there any suggestion that returning the age that OAP reduction was available to 60 was an option? That would please 1 or 2, at least 1 anyway.

That ship sailed four years gone
