Did try to warn you all when you all thought Swann had changed.

At least you were looking on the bright side. We are even worse than you think!

    Not possible.
I’m not even sure we could beat poor old Dover Athletic at the moment.

    Welcome to my world, Les.
National League won’t be so bad.
Some interesting new grounds for those daft enough to continue to put money into a failed venture.

What the fat man says and what he does, or what happens, are often diametrically opposite.
How long before we are allowed to use the “L” word?

Swann, you’ve wrecked this club on every level you rotten sh1t, get gone.

Swann the ball is firmly in your court. We, Scunthorpe United FC, being in the Football League for the last 71 years, are now facing relegation in the face. Swann has brought us to where we are now. So SWANN THE BALL IS IN YOUR COURT SCUNTHORPE UNITED FC EITHER STAY IN THE EFL OR ARE NON LEAGUE NEXT SEASON.

Ball’s been in the fat tw@ court some time now.
Seen anything at all that says he’s bothered?

Well I am glad you’ve cleared that up NLI, don’t think I would have got it if you hadn’t put it in capitals, what exactly does Swann have to do?.

What he needs to do is f*ck off.

    Lads, lads, calm down.
It’s a while before this transfer window closes, so it’ll be a while before we can pick up the dregs no-one else wants.
Same as ever, and in reality, who else would come to a team in our position?

He realises how disliked he is, sells up and moves on.
Oh, and gives the ground back as promised before leaving.

    We’ve all seen it!

But some of us are feeding off the crumbs instead of going on hunger strike!

You ever stopped to think that maybe, just maybe, the willingness of some supporters to be treated as we are, and to feed off crumbs, is the reason the fat man is still here?

    Just asking.

    Don’t worry lads.
We’ve got Keith Hill and it’s January.
    We’re saved.
Hill will be able to choose from one of the new signings Swanny has funded …what?
    He hasn’t?
Oh well, non league it is then.

Maybe you’ll end up throwing a party if we’re relegated come the end of the season.

You come across as the clever pillock that will do something like that just so you’re able to brag that were right.

You’re a complete and utter toss pot !

    Oooh, that’s just nasty.
The word is posstot anyway, ask BA.

Throw a party? No, I’ll be as upset as most.
But I will expect, though won’t receive, a few apologies.

I’ve ALWAYS told it as I’ve seen it.
If that’s not what you want to hear, sorry.

It might show how far we’ve fallen, but letting your top scorer for the last two seasons go when you’re in a relegation scrap is suicide.

    What????
    Wake up man!
Have you never heard the magic phrases?
“We can’t stand in the lad’s way. He’s going to (insert any slightly relevant pap here)***

**” eg: a bigger club, a higher league, a richer club, a club with more ambition etc etc.

    Yes.
    In the men’s game.
    No, for the women’s game.

    Makes sense to me.

Explain, in your own words please and not with a misogynist or right wing video. Thanks.

    Why bother?
You have your silly lefty views.
    I have my correct ones.

If you genuinely dont see that a man is more likely to understand the needs of the men’s game, you are probably one of those who denies any difference between the TWO sexes.

Loft clearly didn’t want to be here so he as well gone, although given past players tend to come back and score against us I hope there is a clause in the contract that he cant play against us this season.

    You hope?
But given the utter incompetence of those now running the club, would you bet on it?

The £11 million was written off, but £50,000 will help knock some off our our current debt.

    Nope.
He took the ground and land in payment.
A despicable act since his mismanagement ran up the debt.

True to form the Government have appointed a Minister of Education who knows nothing about the system!

Ah yes, brings to mind the wonderful talented education secretaries of the Bliar years, David Blunkett, eho went to a special school, and Ruth Kelly who went to a strict Catholic private school.
Neither had ever been into a state school until appointed.

    Education, education, education.

    Nope, Liebour bullshit.
    Blunkett hated teachers too🙄

I thought we were only going to get 35 points Alcy?

Is this a sly attempt to get away with adding another 3 points to your prediction?

Good to read you have started the new year with greater optimism.

No more optimism, but the maths changes when we add three points.
    Going down, sorry.

Thing is Swannster has said we’ll have to get by with this embargo. In my opinion he’s pretty much washed his hands of us, he may as well let somebody else in as chairman next season.

If Swann had any ambition left as chairman he would have cleared the embargo.

As a club we deserve better than what he’s offering up. I’d rather he admitted he’s done everything he can at the club, works hard to get interest “if there is any out there” and moves on.

Swann can give the ground back as well while he’s at it !

Got fairies at the bottom of your garden too?
You’ll believe owt if you believe Swann will do either thing.

    Very modest, I’d say.

In fact I’m pretty sure he’s not the answer dome on here think/thought he was.

You can all apologise to me come season end.

    Toys? Plural?
I was brought up so poor one toy was it.
And I never threw it anywhere.

You lot’s optimism is quite amusing.
As yet, I’ve seen no reason for it, but you continue if it helps.
    Myself, I’ll stick to reality.

    Of course not, silly boy.😄

But if you look at my post. I’ve simply quoted BBC stats, so actually watching it, god forbid, was unnecessary.

Don’t tell me you still put money into the fat man’s pocket?
