Straw-clutching for six points?
It’ll be replayed. The question is do our original predictions still stand or do we enter new ones as and when?
New matches will be added for the rearranged fixtures.

Final whistle results only. I can’t remember any SUFC matches that were abandoned and not replayed in my time supporting the club.

Outstanding last night. That last ditch tackle was immense.
I wonder if taking a punt on him despite his hernia injury allowed us to beat others to his signature. Certainly proving to have been a risk worth taking.
Will be interesting to see what happens when McGahey is fully fit. The fact he came back in at Barrow despite being anywhere near fit suggests to me that he is still Cox’s number 1 as it stands.
I still think a fully fit McGahey will be Cox’s first choice.
Howard was excellent last night. He didn’t have much to do, but he did the simple things so well. Looks to be full of confidence.
Manny not at it tonight so far.
Loft trained yesterday and is fine
Big unit, but can play a bit too. Saw him a few times for the Leicester development side when I was at uni. He was one of about three or four that came through under Sven at the time. Should help with our set piece woes. Quite pleased with this one.
I remember Swann suggested we looked to pay £2.5-3kish a week towards some of the Premier League players we had on loan(Thomas, Borthwick-Jackson), but I can’t imagine we would have been paying anywhere near that much for Taylor. I guess we would have certainly been making a contribution.
As I said on the Loft thread, Cox is keen but as it stands it’s unlikely to happen. He nearly came in the summer but we couldn’t get it over the line. Shares agent with Cox.
Cox is trying to bring in another big and nasty but not sure he will be able to. He has one in mind.
There was an interesting article in Bradford Telegraph and Argus which included comments from Hurst why he walked out, and it was clearly due to the way the club was run.
PS told me over the weekend that Hurst and Doig were both sacked and that he is still paying them off.
Looks like he fixed five players up in the summer and three came to us!
Hippolyte needs flogging for a small fee back to the conference
Ha. I can’t imagine any clubs will be lining up to pay a fee. Out of interest I wonder what we paid for him?
I didn’t understand Clarkes after match interview, as club captain if he was as passionate as he says why didn’t he do something about it on the pitch.
To be fair to Clarke I thought he was the only one who put in a few strong challenges and played as if it were a derby.
He can’t even do the basics well. I was embarrassed for him yesterday. Is he actually a footballer because at the moment he looks like a bloke who won a competition to play?
Is that pen stat saying Howard has saved 1 out of 1?
That’s in the league. Those stats were League Two only. Howard saved 1/3 overall. Solihull scored two in the cup.
Seen a few saying it was his best game for us – but it was an awfully low bar.
It was nice to see him actually attempt to take on a man which led to the winning goal. That must be the first time he has tried it this season!
A few stats..

PEN SAVES 0/3This club makes a habit of getting your hopes up and then kicking you in the cock
Cheers gents, feeling better now!
Either Cox deserves an oscar or he is genuinely pleased about Will’s appointment.
Fun fact. He actually played a friendly or two for the youth team way back when Swann first joined the club. Also appears on the seasonal team photo. Karl Power stylee.
I was disappointed we didn’t do enough attacking wise, want to see Brown and Rowe supporting the wingers more often, the one time Rowe bombed forward we forced a save out of their keeper.
This.
I suspect it will have to be a loan, made permanent in January.
Such sad news. A true legend of English football.
Wasn’t hinting at a sacking. We just never record a podcast in the heat of the moment and (usually) for good reason!
Loft has the lowest completed pass % in the league for an outfield player. 38%. He was great against Port Vale and I had high hopes for him, but since then has been so poor.
There has been a lot of criticism levelled at the club this season, but the thorough approach to COVID testing should be recognised.
They are clearly taking their duty of care to players and staff very seriously and it has to be said, more seriously than large a number of League One/Two clubs.
Other clubs haven’t tested since the mandatory test prior to the season start and are no obligation to do so from the EFL. (Steve Evans admitted this weekend Gillingham haven’t been tested since 48hrs prior to the beginning of the season.)
Credit to Swann for footing the bill for regular testing at £5k a pop, but it does seem as though we are being punished for going above and beyond what the league deem acceptable.
It’s turning into an absolute farce.
Credit where it’s due. Given the circumstances, that’s arguably our best performance this season. Carved out enough opportunities to get something and left to rue missed chances. Unlucky – but plenty of heart shown and a real battling performance. Agree with Les, Manny & the Beest were excellent.
A mention for McAtee too – seemingly in a better frame of mind and much improved. Think we lost momentum when he was subbed. Green also lively and should have given Cox something to think about.
Cant fault Jarvis’ effort as he works hard and puts in a real shift, but he has to do better in front of goal. Has missed big opportunities at crucial times for the last few weeks. Two more today. If those go in and we could be talking about different games.
