Even based many miles away from Blighty it was very sad news hearing of the Queen passing away .. expect there to be lots of disruption over the next couple of weeks re postponements etc, most Scunny fans are expert mourners ive been in mourning for the last 3 years… if SUFC was dog it would be put down or a horse direct to the knackers yard.

Well DM the way things are going, memories could be all that’s left of our much loved football club. Who the hell am I kidding, once this muppet in charge has finally run away for the last time, the club will kick on and build again, won’t be easy, won’t be quick but it will happen. UP THE IRON.

There is part of me in the back of my mind a better option would be Swan to put us into admin and start as a phoenix club .. its a fact the longer things carry on in this sort of catastrophic limbo the harder it will be .. im not up to speed with what Admin entails but would it be worth it to get Swan gone.

You don’t have to wait for administration to start a phoenix club, FC United of Manchester did it, if people hate Swanny that much you’d think they would do that, and leave the real Scunny to everyone else, big whoargh going on in Bury at the moment some want Bury and the phoenix club to merge lots of Bury fans won’t have it and have been protesting, kids games at Radcliffe where AFC bury play cancelled due to he protests,so it’s not all milk and honey out there.

York will be a nightmare for me; living near York my 10 year old has become a YCFC supporter, and my 22 year old daughter’s boyfriend is also a YCFC supporter. With our current form I am dreading Saturday!

FCUM haven’t really done a great deal the 17 years since they were formed.

Attendances average around 1,700 and that’s in a big conurbation.

A Scunthorpe Phoenix Club would probably attract less than 1,000 supporters unless it was doing particularly well.
