Yeah but hardly cashing in, it’s not £500,000 territory. Still think the breaking up of the last playoff push squad was when we got some serious money in and that mainly went on debt clearing not big spends on decent players.

Aye, that’s probably the right answer but as IA points out, it’s not quite the same as “buy cheap, sell high” of 10-or-so years ago. I guess Holmes might be the last player sold at anything resembling a profit?
