Eight new players in this month, so TBF to the club they have tried to change things with bringing in three quarters of a new side. Main thing for me is that these players are who Hill wanted and he’s worked with most if not all of them before at some point in their careers. So the majority of fans support Hill and now he has a chance to mould these players he knows into his team with the rest of the squad. Not an easy task with so few games left but I believe we have a chance with this manager doing things his way with the players he brought in. Not a grubby cygnet hand involved in any of these signings it would seem, good, and good luck Keith.
I’m confused now.
Keith said:-
” I’m trying to put a jigsaw together and unfortunately that excluded Harry. It’s a bit of a shame really because he is one I would like to have kept”
Why would you want to keep a piece of a jigsaw that wasn’t part of the puzzle you were making?
In case you lost a piece?
But it wouldn’t fit if it’s not in your puzzle.
I guess ideally Hill would like to have kept Hippo & Wood and lost Perry & KDT but overall not a bad outcome.
Maybe not a perfect fit but one you could squeeze in if necessary to complete the puzzle (I.e have a bigger squad).
Yes, don’t think he’ll have too many complaints. Must feel like a bit of a plan came together.
Hill clearly thinks Hackney is the better pick despite his stupid ban and he should be back for the last 15 fixtures. I’m sure Hill would have loved to keep Wood but he’s playing the numbers game with this embargo on and he obviously wanted to move others on. If we assume they are Turan and Millen then once again it speaks volumes about our disastrous summer recruitment under little Swann. I’m still unsure about Perry, he can pass it for fun but he clearly isn’t fit and as a result lacks confidence but maybe next season in a stiffer midfield he could prosper. One thing for sure football management isn’t easy it’s just some make it easier then others,I’m sure glad Hill is here.
