Gone back to Hull
January 31, 2022 at 7:46 pm #231032Midfield’s starting to look a bit thin. Wonder why Hill didn’t give him a game until last week?
January 31, 2022 at 7:54 pm #231034Wonder if this was at Hull’s behest or ours?
January 31, 2022 at 7:56 pm #231036He’s got two experienced midfield players in since last week, we can maybe bring a centre back in now, midfield is covered IMO. Don’t forget Hackney is still on loan, maybe Hills thinking we should be covered till he returns, unless he’s binning him too.
January 31, 2022 at 8:03 pm #231038The talk by Charlie Wilson is a centre back and 2 strikers, with one being impressive if it comes off.
January 31, 2022 at 8:05 pm #231039Hull recalled.
January 31, 2022 at 8:08 pm #231040Nuttall and Delaney plus one according to Aidan McCartney

Hackney out for another 3-4 games? Kenyon, Hippolyte & Wood all gone this week. Leaves Pugh, Beestin, Rowe & Grant I think?
January 31, 2022 at 8:13 pm #231042Hippolyte and Wood leaving I think leaves us short now. Hackney is out for another 5 games. All the while Hallam and KDT are still here who happen to play no role whatsoever.
According to twiiter now Wood and Hippo have gone, Delaney and Nuttall will come in but the other striker who’s due to come in, who’s a big striker and who’s supposed to be the most impressive signing will only come in if we get yet another player out of the door.
All the while all Swann has to do is pay KDT’s contract up to get him out to get the space freed up.
The mind boggles.
January 31, 2022 at 8:14 pm #231043Green, please. His departure can do us no harm whatsoever.

January 31, 2022 at 8:14 pm #231044And Feeney Ferrite
January 31, 2022 at 8:21 pm #231047A truly stoopid question, maybe, but what are the chances of having a fit Hallam, for once?
January 31, 2022 at 8:23 pm #231048Hull recalled.
Rumour here is he’s elsewhere bound.

January 31, 2022 at 8:26 pm #231050Going to a football club maybe?
January 31, 2022 at 8:27 pm #231051And still got Perry as much use as he is.
Not ideal that Hippolyte and Wood are the 2 but since there is no movement or willingness to pay people up we can only get rid of those who people want.
Midfield isn’t left as short as we are up front and at CB.
Without at least one of each we’ve got less than 0 chance.

January 31, 2022 at 8:40 pm #231052Forgot about Perry. Was classing Feeney as a wide player rather than a midfielder. Same as Lewis.
January 31, 2022 at 9:03 pm #231057Feeney is a winger. Perry is not what we need and hackney is out for another 5 games isn’t he ?
January 31, 2022 at 9:09 pm #231059Hasn’t he served 3 of them Burny
January 31, 2022 at 9:20 pm #231063Feeney gave a decent impression of a midfielder on Saturday.

January 31, 2022 at 9:28 pm #231073Feeney will fit into any midfield role required, he’s strong and experienced, midfield is fine let’s get that centre back and another forward in they are the two required positions that need filling now.

January 31, 2022 at 9:51 pm #231082The Delaney situation is critical.
We are immediately guaranteed relegation with just two CBs.January 31, 2022 at 10:05 pm #231088Well, one and a half!
January 31, 2022 at 10:21 pm #231092missed the news … where has Hippo gone ??
January 31, 2022 at 10:27 pm #231093missed the news … where has Hippo gone ??
ok sorry just seen other thread ..Stockport ..bad news rather he had stayed
January 31, 2022 at 11:04 pm #231104Shows how far we’ve fallen when we’re disappointed to see a Sunday League footballer like Hippo leave!
Green likewise.
It just leaves Turan as the turd that won’t flush away!
February 1, 2022 at 12:51 am #231108Hippo going and Turan staying….he’s hanging on for dear life bless him lol
February 1, 2022 at 3:48 am #231110Looking at what Hill said after 11pm – it is clear that he wanted Wood gone as he would not fit the new systems.
February 1, 2022 at 6:25 am #231113The talk by Charlie Wilson is a centre back and 2 strikers, with one being impressive if it comes off.
Which one is the impressive signing?
Or didn’t it come off LOL

I don’t know what you’ve been reading or listening to but this is what Hill said about wood…
“It’s a shame really regarding Harry. That was one that we had to do and it was a case of balancing the squad of players I’ve got with the ones that I needed to bring in to make a difference. I’m trying to put a jigsaw together and unfortunately that excluded Harry. It’s a bit of a shame really because he is one I would like to have kept”
There were clearly players he wanted rid of before him but they wouldn’t budge.
