January 8, 2023 at 1:13 pm #252270Your posts are becoming increasingly depressing SOS.
At least allow us to bask in the sunny uplands of a 3-0 win for a few days.

Unfortunately, we’re up against the team who are the second best “away team” in the league.
I hope, but, don’t expect.
🤷♂️January 13, 2023 at 5:02 pm #252656Be a tough game tomorrow but a win last time out at home should be a booster for the boys. Anybody is beatable and this league if nowt else has show us more then most that there are no real shock results.

SUFC 1-2 Woking is the obvious ‘answer’
However, I’m going to go:
SUFC 1-4 Woking (22/1)
Goals to come from:
Reece Grego-Cox 9 this season.
Rhys Browne 6
James Daly 6Cox to get a brace, one apiece for the other 2 lads.
Lavery to add to his tally for us.
January 14, 2023 at 11:13 am #252739Isn’t Woking what Alcazar and Big J used to accuse us of?

Surely they have A Snowflake playing centre back for them 🤔
January 14, 2023 at 4:56 pm #252754We won’t win another game with this midfield

January 14, 2023 at 5:39 pm #252757Beaten by a superior side; Organised, tough and took their chances. Their centre backs were excellent and limited us to scraps.
Not downhearted by the effort, just wish Swann would fuck off so we can start rebuilding our club.

Swann won’t piss off until somebody has coughed up the required money. I just hope the Alan “The sausage flasher” Hardy and his consortium have the money.
I can’t see Elliot, Sharpe and Co having it.
January 14, 2023 at 9:12 pm #252783Agree WG. Think they want it for peanuts. Anybody with 3.5 million and can turn it around will make a killing.
January 14, 2023 at 10:01 pm #252788From what I gather Sharpe and co could pay the 3.5 million for the club but then there wouldn’t be enough money to pay tax bill off and other things e.g player and staff wages. I think that’s around their budget for the club and running costs to see us through the season and I’m sorry but that’s not enough money.
Swann wants 3.5 mill for the training ground, stadium and so on and he’s not budging.
Elliot stated he could pay it but needs to factor in running costs as well. Elliot followed with the Ferrari analogy and needing petrol to run it.
If Swann knocks some off it they may have a shot but I can’t see it.

What’s your source for what they can afford?
January 14, 2023 at 11:53 pm #252801I would think that if Swann only wants 3.5 million for the stadium and training pitch land, that it would be a good deal for any buyers, with the price of land these days what the hell do they expect to pay???, if buyers are struggling to find that sort of cash, they should not be even thinking of taking over a football club with a following of 3,000 fans!! and to reportedly running at a £30,000 per week loss. That package covers a fair amount of land, and at the end of the day, the club have no worthwhile players in the squad.

Ok, GP is older and not as ‘flash’ as those two venues – but £3.5M is giving it away.

Swann wants 3.5mill for the club, stadium e.t.c. Elliot gave an interview the other night stating he could pay what Swann wanted but then would need to factor in the running of the club.
If they comfortably had the money needed then it would have been bought before now.
Listen to the interview if you haven’t already.

We’ll be a Phoenix club, playing on a plastic pitch, probably at Quibell Park, with open terraces and pie, peas & mint sauce ‘n bovril.
January 15, 2023 at 9:42 am #252820I don’t think anybody will be surprised if the bulldozers have the final say, we are in a sorry state and there is only one person to blame.

Unless he just doesn’t want to sell to them?

Then why was an offer accepted in December ? They would’ve had to demonstrate proof of funds there and then.
